"I need a weapon, preferably an axe," Ren replied, only to receive a raised brow from Harlan.
"Is there an issue? I can get the materials to have it crafted if you tell me what would be required." He was a little nervous as he feared getting rejected.
'I can ask Cooper for other blacksmiths, but he told me that Harlan was the best one there is.' Pondering, he awaited the blacksmith's reply.
"It's not that. I do have the ability to make one, though are you sure you need an axe?" With a weird face, Harlan questioned him.
"Yes?"
Ren couldn't understand what Harlan was trying to say, if he was even saying something instead of being vague.
"So you don't know. Sigh, come with me."
With a gesture of his hand, he entered the same forge from which he had emerged. Ren entered, and a scorching wave of heat blew past him, one far more intense than before.
'Wouldn't a normal person get first-degree burns just by standing here for half an hour?' And the man worked here all day.
