Chapter 20: Clash of the Two Systems
Our story begins from where it previously ended.
Kartik's System Window
Breaks through the gate and suddenly feels something strange.
It stops Kartik and says,
"Do not move forward."
Kartik:
"What happened?"
He asks in shock.
Evil System Window says:
"Can't you feel it? The flow of energy has changed. Something is wrong."
Scene Shift
We are shown our system window.
Strange energy begins to appear inside it.
The system window thinks:
What is happening to me?
Slowly, blue-colored energy spreads inside it.
The system window starts taking a human form, and its eyes turn blue.
Another Location
Here, our MC is pretending to be unconscious.
The hunters have not yet reached Navi.
Navi thinks:
"I fixed everything, yet why do I feel so strange?"
He suddenly sits up.
"I feel as if someone very important to me is in danger.
Since I came to this strange world, I never formed such a deep bond with anyone."
"My heart is beating faster…
Is this because my power is leaving me?"
"Why are tears coming into my eyes?
What is happening to me?
Am I crying?"
"I never felt this before."
"I should ask the system window…"
"What is happening to me?
Since I entered this world, my emotions had died.
I never cared if someone disappeared, but today feels different."
"I am really scared.
The one I care about is the system window.
It is very powerful, yet I must ask to clear my doubts."
Navi:
"System window, Asses, where are you? Come quickly, your master is calling you.
I know you are angry with me."
"Please reply at least once. I am worried about you.
Asses, stop being angry. From now on, I will listen to you.
Be angry if you want, but don't stay silent."
Another Scene
We return to Kartik and the Evil System Window.
Evil System Window says:
"Master, you stay here.
My power will work only if I go inside and fix everything.
I feel danger."
Kartik:
"I sealed the system window's power, yet there is still danger?
If you say so, I will trust you.
Go, I want to hear good news."
Evil System Window:
"Yes, Master. I will not disappoint you."
After saying this, she enters the palace.
As soon as she enters, the MC's system window and the Evil System Window stand face to face.
MC's System Window:
"Who are you? What are you doing in my world?"
Evil System Window:
"Why do you want to know about me when you are going to die?"
MC's System Window:
"You came into my domain and are talking about killing me?
Nice joke."
The system window releases its power.
The palace begins to shake violently.
Evil System Window:
"You will die… and your master Navi will also be killed."
The moment she hears about Navi's death, the MC's system window goes mad with rage and attacks directly with her spear.
A massive explosion occurs.
The impact of the power is so great that the palace is blown apart.
But the MC's system window is shocked.
The Evil System Window catches her spear with one hand and kicks her hard.
The MC's system window is sent flying far away.
Kartik:
Is shocked.
"I reduced her power by 50%, yet she is still this strong.
Good thing I have a safety catch, or I would be dead."
MC's System Window (shocked):
"You are also a system window?"
Evil System Window:
"Yes, you are right.
But you realized it too late."
MC's System Window:
"There cannot be two system windows in the same world.
This is against the law.
The system law will punish you."
Evil System Window:
"Don't worry about that…
Now, the law is in my hands."
