Roid and Yuto entered the inside of the wall, A forest lied Infront them, with green trees, small, big, and abnormal, waving with the wind, birds flapping their beautiful wings, the river flowing majestically with small waves splashing on the stones besides them. The blue sky shined, it felt like paradise.
"So, we just have walk to the other side to that door, right?" Roid said as he pointed
"Yeah, but what is this place?" Yuto sighed
"This is awesome" Roid ran to the glossing green grass
"When was the last time I saw so much grass in one place" Roid said while rolling in the grass.
"The sky? It's beautiful, it's been ages ever since I saw a clear blue sky" Yuto said while looking at the sky, smiling.
"Wait, no we have to go to the other side of this forest, I can see the other door from here" Yuto thought "Let's go, Roid"
"So much grass" Roid shouted, rolling over it not focused
Yuto then went to Roid and dragged him in the grass.
"No" he dramatically cried out
"Let's just focus and get out of here" Yuto said
"Fine" Roid stood up and then walked for himself.
"Now that, think of it, you telling me there is a forest inside a wall? To think such a place existed right besides us all this time" Yuto said
They kept on walking towards the forest, the more they walked the more cluttered the trees were getting, the once big door and blue sky was no longer visible, the leaves swayed with the wind, the closer they went towards the middle of this ocean of trees.
"We have been walking for so long, are we lost?" Roid asked
"I mean we have been walking straight we should be getting closer"
"Hey, Yuto look at this" Roid kneeled down to pick it up something
"Is that wood?" Yuta wondered as he took it from the ground
"I mean it makes sense, we are in a forest" Roid said
"No, this wood, it's been polished"
"Huh?"
"We might not be alone here" Yuto said
They kept on walking straight, till they reached a river, the fresh smell of clean water sprayed their noises.
"WATER" They both screamed
They jolted towards the river, happy that they finally can have clean water after a long time. They both drank from the river, enjoying every moment.
In the woods something gazed at them, it was on a high place, maybe a tree but it looked at them, you could hear its growling, not just from its stomach, it moved closer and closer to where Roid and Yuto were.
"Did you hear that?" Roid asked as he looked at the trees
"No" Yuto replied
"I think you were right, we are not alone here" Roid said.
"Let's keep moving"
They both continued to walk deeper in the forest and a strange sound appeared from a distance.
"Did you say something?" Roid asked
"No"
Again, the same sound kept on playing, like a song. It was getting closer. You could hear twitching, and cracking, infused with a terrifying sound that played with it
"Something is coming" Roid said
"Yeah, get ready" Yuto replied as they stayed in their stances
Both Roid and Yuto stood there, as the sound got closer and closer, then…it stopped.
The jerking, the cracking, the sound of terror, it stopped. It went quiet
"Is it gone?" Roid whispered
"Don't Jinx us, you idiot" Yuto whispered back, trembling on where he stood
The forest went quiet after their words.
"These trees are making it hard to see" Roid said
"Yeah, you right"
Suddenly, it started drops came from above.
"Wait it's raining?" Roid said
"That can be we are inside a wall, and even if it decided to rain, we are covered by thick trees how does it rain directly to us" Yuto said
They both realized that the chances of rain are very slim, and they decided to look directly up. To say it was a horrendous view would be an understatement, as gaging teeth smiled at them, with salvia raining from its three heads, its growl, wait no its voice it echoed a terrifying laugh if that's what you call it. It twitched and cracked as it moved a little, its body was in an unnatural position, in fact this is not supposed to be alive but there it was looking at Roid and Yuto, they both grasped that what they were in was not a dream.
It growled its laugh
"RUN"
They both ran and ran, pumping their lungs out, the monster was behind them, the way it ran was so unnatural, it had jerky movements and its arms and legs swayed like a puppet being pulled from strings.
Back to the outside wall
In an office where Jagger, Ace and his other assistance were sitting there watching Roid and Yuto on an orb.
"Sir? is giving them "The Laughing Puppets" a top tier Berserker really ideal? It might be too much for them." Ace said
"Well, I need to see if it worked, giving them a low tier berserks won't make it a fun experiment now will it be?" Jagger answered drinking from his cup. '
Back inside the wall
"Running won't help; we need to fight it" Roid said
"Wait" but Roid didn't listen and headed towards the berserker.
"Why does he have to be so dumb sometimes, but he is right running won't help, that jagger guy must have intentionally wanted us to fight this thing, meaning the only way through that door is to kill it" Yuto internally thought
"Hey you three headed freaks!" Roid yelled towards the berserker, as he punched his fists together.
The berserker looked at him and headed towards Roid, they looked at each other like long loss friends
"You know, that laugh of yours is getting pretty annoying, how about I shut it for you"
He runs towards it, the berserker then growled its song and punched him, it created a crater, but Roid disappeared. Suddenly Roid ran on its big left arm towards its faces with his fist pulled back ready to punch it in one of its faces.
"IYAAA"
Like human scraping of a bug the berserker saw Roid and pushed him back in the air.
"Shit" he said as he had nothing to grab on, he was defenceless.
The berserker then pulled its leg back and crouched, then it dragged it through the dirt and sliced kicked Roid in the stomach.
"FWAAA" he coughed out blood
He got thundered into the trees behind him, leaving a train of broken trees, before he could get up from what just happened the berserker grabbed him like grabbing a dog from the neck, it screamed almost like it was taking out its anger from something. It kept simultaneously punching Roid in the face
"Ahh" Roid cried as he was being struck in the face
"Dammit he's going to die" Yuto said as he watched from behind the trees
The berserker landed a final blow on Roid's face and it pushed him back hitting the ground hard, causing a massive hole on the ground.
He landed close to where Yuto was watching from.
"Hey are you okay?" Yuto asked as he ran towards him, trying to help
"I think so (Cough-cough), but that thing is strong, we need another way of defeating it, come on Yuto don't you have a plan we can use to defeat this freak?" Roid said
"Wait" Yuto realized something
"Roid, tell me, is that thing made out of flash?"
"Uhm, No I don't think so, when I was running on its arm, it felt like a hard surface."
"Mhh, interesting its moving like a puppet?"
"Yeah"
"Its skin is brown and hard with puppet like movements? It has to be made out of wood, right? Also remember when we saw that wood earlier on? I think it fell from this Berserker"
"That's great and all but how do we actually deal it?"
"We need to find the core" "I need to test something, but it will need your strength"
"Fine, if it will defeat this freak then I will do it" he said as he stood up from his crater, punching his fist together.
The Berserks got closer and closer to where Roid and Yuto were.
"Yuto, remember when you asked what my Null powers were?"
"Huh?"
Roid picked up a sharp bark from the debris of the trees, he then slowly aimed it on his arm.
"What are you doing?"
"My Null is, I am not allowed to stab myself"
"Huh?"
Roid then stabbed himself on the arm with the sharp bark, he screamed, blood oozing from his arm as it sprayed on him, tears fell on his face.
"IYAAA!"
"AHHH"
"I will never get used to this shit" he said as he seemed to turn off all of a sudden. He looked at the ground and closed his eyes, he took a deep breath
"What is he doing?" Yuto thought
"SHADOW ARTS" he roared
He then slowly walked towards the berserker, his eyes black like a demon, his voiced changed to a deeper tone, his aura interfered with the transmission that led to Jagger see what was going on inside the wall he was a different person.
"So, Yuto, what did you want to test?"
"U-Uh, I want you to stab all the eyes, there is something I want to confirm before we find its core"
"Got it" Roid said as two air daggers appeared on his hands, his face changed, it's like the innocent boy was no longer there.
"Who Is this guy?"
Back outside the wall
Jagger and his assistances are watching Roid and Yuto as they fight on the orb:
"What are you doing?" Yuto shouted
"My Null is, I am not allowed to stab myself"
"Iyaaa!"
Suddenly the orb stopped projecting the images properly and then it just went off after battling and sizzling trying to grasp the signal inside the walls.
"What's going on?" Jagger asked
"I don't know, something interfered with the signal sir" the assistances controlling the orb said
"Should we go and check inside sir?" Ace said
"No, let's wait a bit" he smirked
Back inside the wall
Roid and the berserker looked at each other, eyes locked, fists ready, wood cracked. Both Roid and the berserker suddenly ran to each, their faces both raged red, they stretched their fist back as they roared to each other.
