Chapter 75: Boss Raid
The battle inside this rift was getting more and more intense, and even a low-rank Esper had, because of sheer exhaustion, been careless enough to let an alligator get close and bite into his carotid artery. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't save that person.
"Kim Jun-sii, wipe the blood off you."
Han Sahee handed me a towel. I took it from her and silently wiped the fresh blood off my hands.
The blood on my hands was still warm, but that Esper was already cold.
"This feeling is so strange."
I muttered, suddenly struck by an urge to say out loud so many things that had been weighing on my mind. If I didn't tell them, I was afraid I'd go crazy.
