Chapter 19 - Chapter 19

Chapter 19

Early the next morning.

Ling Yu woke up bright and early, tied on an apron, and started cooking in the kitchen.

In his previous life as someone from China, he had long mastered the art of cooking. As a result, he became the only person in the household capable of making edible meals.

Tsunade? Once, she'd attempted a simple tomato-and-egg stir-fry and nearly sent Ling Yu to the hospital with food poisoning. After that disaster, he never let her near the kitchen again.

He quickly prepared three dishes and a soup, set the table, took off the apron, and headed toward Tsunade's room.

"Sis, I'm coming in."

The moment he stepped inside, the dim room made him squint. After a few seconds to adjust, he walked straight to the window.

Whoosh!

He yanked the curtains open. Sunlight flooded the dark space. Satisfied with the now-bright room, Ling Yu nodded to himself.

He approached the bed and gently shook the bundled figure hidden beneath the blankets.

"Sis, time to wake up."

"Mmm… five more minutes…"

The blinding light made Tsunade uncomfortable. She rolled over, wrapping herself tighter in the blanket. A lazy, sleepy voice drifted out.

"Come on, get up already!"

Ling Yu sighed helplessly at his notoriously lazy-in-the-morning big sister. Without further hesitation, he pulled the blanket off.

"Mmm…"

Deprived of her cocoon, Tsunade's beautiful figure was fully revealed.

She lay on her side, wearing only a thin silk nightgown. Even through the fabric, the fair skin beneath was clearly visible. Her chest—already as developed as an eighteen- or nineteen-year-old's—rose and fell softly.

She was only sixteen. If she grew any more, she'd outclass just about everyone.

Any other person seeing this sleeping beauty would probably have a nosebleed. But Ling Yu? He was completely unfazed.

He saw this sight every day. He'd long since become immune.

Sometimes he even slept beside her, cradled in her warm embrace, enjoying the most comfortable sleep imaginable.

Now blanket-less, Tsunade's flawless face scrunched slightly. Her hands fumbled blindly, searching for the covers to pull back over herself. Clearly, she still refused to wake up.

"Sis, stop sleeping. Come on, get up."

Ignoring how much skin she was showing, Ling Yu gently shook her shoulders again.

"Mmm…"

Without the blanket's warmth, sleep slowly faded. Tsunade gradually stirred.

"Little bro…"

Still half-asleep, she opened her eyes, saw Ling Yu standing beside her, and immediately pulled him into her arms.

"Sis…"

Ling Yu was instantly trapped in her signature "face-washing" hug. He struggled hard, but Tsunade's strength far outmatched his. All he could do was wriggle helplessly in her embrace.

With every movement, the sweet milky scent from her chest flooded his nose. The soft, comforting sensation nearly made him lose himself.

Fortunately, the moment didn't last long. Soon Tsunade let go.

"Haa… haa…"

Freed at last, Ling Yu stumbled back several steps, landed on his butt, and gasped for air.

"Sis, you do this every time! I almost couldn't breathe!"

Once he caught his breath, he shot her a resentful look as she finally stood up.

"Haha, what can I do? My little brother is just too cute. Sis loves hugging you the most."

Tsunade ignored his complaint, laughing brightly. Then she turned around and—without a shred of shame—started changing right in front of him.

Ling Yu bolted out of the room like his life depended on it. If he stayed any longer, she'd definitely tease him more.

"Don't forget—breakfast is on the table! Change quickly or it'll get cold!"

After a simple breakfast together, the two appeared in the underground training ground.

Tsunade had been dragged here by Ling Yu. Normally she hated training—she preferred gambling or shopping with him.

But when he said he had something amazing to show her, she couldn't refuse.

"Sis, this is a taijutsu style I stumbled upon. Watch me demonstrate—it's incredible."

Ling Yu stood a short distance away, turning to her with barely-contained excitement.

"Soru." "Rankyaku." "Geppo." "Shigan." "Kami-e." "Tekkai."

One by one, he performed the full set of the Six Powers.

Tsunade watched, growing more and more astonished with each move. Every technique had clear battlefield potential.

Especially "Soru" and "Tekkai"—they were practically tailor-made for her fighting style.

"Ling Yu… where did you get these taijutsu techniques?"

The moment he finished, Tsunade crossed the distance in a flash, staring at him seriously.

"I… uh… found them in the clan warehouse among all those old scrolls!"

Ling Yu played dumb.

"Be serious. Where did you really get them?"

Tsunade clearly didn't buy it. She knew every technique in the Senju archives—none of them included anything this powerful.

If they had, her grandfather and granduncle would've used them long ago.

"Um…"

Ling Yu scratched his head, looking troubled.

"Can't tell me?"

Seeing his hesitation, Tsunade softened her tone.

"Not… not yet. But I promise I'll explain everything later."

"Okay. I won't press you. Just promise me you didn't pay some terrible price to get these."

Tsunade sighed and let it go.

"No price at all."

"You said earlier you wanted to teach them to me?"

Tsunade shifted the topic back, eyes curious.

"Yeah. These techniques will help you a lot, Sis. I want you to learn them."

Ling Yu handed her the Six Powers scroll he'd exchanged for with his last 100 points.

"Since my little brother wants to teach me, I'll definitely master them."

Tsunade gripped the scroll tightly, smiling warmly.

"Alright then, Teacher Ling Yu—start instructing me right now!"

She tucked the scroll away and stared at him with playful intensity.

"Huh? Shouldn't you just practice on your own? I still have my own training to do!"

Ling Yu was stunned. Was this allowed?

"You already mastered them, right? If you teach me personally, I'll learn much faster."

"Besides… I want to experience what it's like being taught by my little brother teacher~"

The mischief in her eyes made it clear: refusal wasn't an option.

"Ahhh! Then I just wasted 100 points for nothing!"

Ling Yu wailed inwardly.

If he'd known he'd end up teaching her himself, he never would've spent his last points on the scroll.
