Chapter 11 - Chapter 11 Returning To Random

(One hour later at the Hospital).

Dabi entered the hospital room—his expression calm but his eyes are betraying a hint of relief upon seeing Overhaul alive. He approached the bed—his voice steady.

Dabi: "It took a while just to find you."

Overhaul remained still—his gaze fixed on the ceiling—avoiding eye contact. Toga stood beside Dabi—her expression was thoughtful as she observed Shigaraki's unconscious form. The room was filled with a tense silence broken only by the soft beeping of medical equipment.

Dabi: "Overhaul..."

Overhaul's voice was barely a whisper, laced with frustration and pain.

Overhaul: "I could always disassemble and reassemble myself... But for some reason, I can't. Something is keeping me from doing it."

He clenched his fists—his body tense with repressed emotion as he remembered Chrono, of the deal that Chrono had made with Random. But instead of focusing on despair, now was not the time to indulge such feelings.

Overhaul's voice cracked slightly—his eyes glistened with unshed tears.

Overhaul: "I hate being alive... Now I can't even look at my boss without thinking about what happened to Chrono."

Dabi stepped forward—his expression was serious as he addressed both Toga and Overhaul.

Dabi: "I need to say something—all of you need to listen carefully because we're the only ones left who made it out alive."

His tone left no room for argument or interruption—demanding their full attention immediately.

Overhaul's expression crumpled—his eyes filled with sadness at the thought of Lady Nagant.

Overhaul: "Lady Nagant, didn't make it?"

He asked softly—his voice barely whispered. Dabi shook his head solemnly—his face etched with grief.

Dabi: "No..."

Overhaul looked down—his shoulders slumping as he struggled to hold back tears. Toga remained silent—her face pale as she processed the news.

Toga: "So it's just us...?"

She asked quietly—her voice trembled slightly.

Dabi's voice was firm and commanding—as he laid out the plan.

Dabi: "Listen—Midoriya is still stuck in that world. We have to go back and rescue him."

But Overhaul immediately objected—his tears flowing freely now.

Overhaul: "No!"

He cried out—his fear and guilt overwhelming him.

Overhaul: "I can't go back there—not after what happened..."

Dabi moved quickly—pinning Overhaul against the wall with his forearm across his throat. His eyes blazed with anger and determination.

Overhaul's fear and trauma bubbled over—his voice cracking as he screamed at Dabi.

Overhaul: "You have no idea! You haven't the slightest clue what I've been through!"

Toga looked down sadly—her heart aching for Midoriya. Overhaul broke down—his sobs echoing through the room as he listed his horrors.

Overhaul: "I was sexually assaulted! I was raped! And Chrono... he killed himself just to save me!"

Dabi's expression softened—his voice gentle as he tried to reason with Overhaul.

Dabi: "Then go back for revenge—for Chrono. I'm sure that's what he would want."

He pulled Overhaul into a comforting hug—his strong arms wrapping around the trembling man.

Dabi: "I know you're scared—but I need your help to save Midoriya."

His promise hung heavy in the air—unspoken doubts lingering about whether he could truly keep Overhaul safe if they were separated again during their rescue.

Toga interrupted the emotional moment—her question was practical and necessary.

Toga: "How are we supposed to get back exactly?"

She held up her phone—showing them the empty search results.

Toga: "There's no app called 'Random' anywhere—not on the App Store, not on Google Play. It's completely gone."

Dabi's expression remained calm—an unreadable confidence in his eyes.

Dabi: "Let me worry about that."

He assured them—his voice was steady and commanding.

Dabi: "Just focus on preparing yourself mentally. I'll handle the logistics."

Overhaul stepped forward—determination replacing his earlier despair. He wiped away the last of his tears—taking control of the situation.

Overhaul: "No—let me worry about it."

He grabbed his phone—opening his file manager and scrolling through the apps. Suddenly, he froze—his finger hovering over an icon labeled 'Random'. It was there—the key to getting back into that hellish world.

Overhaul: "I think I found something..."

He whispered—looking up at Dabi and Toga with newfound hope.

Overhaul's fingers flew over the screen—installing the app swiftly. As it opened, a random location popped up—an unknown address flashing on the screen. It was their ticket back into Random's world—a chance to rescue Midoriya and seek revenge for Chrono's sacrifice.

Dabi smiled genuinely at Overhaul.

Dabi: "Good job Kai."

His voice carried genuine pride and relief. Overhaul remained silent—his heart pounding as he stared at the location on his phone screen—the beginning of their dangerous journey back into hell...

Dabi quickly calculated the distance—his eyes scanning the address.

Dabi: "The location isn't that far."

He said confidently—grabbing Overhaul's phone to check the exact coordinates.

Dabi: "Let's go, guys."

He moved toward the door—ready to leave immediately. But Toga's voice stopped him mid-step.

Toga: "Wait—but Overhaul is still injured!"

She pointed out—gesturing toward Overhaul's battered form. Overhaul flinched slightly—his gaze dropping.

Overhaul: "I'll be fine."

Just as they were about to leave—the phone began vibrating insistently. Dabi's eyes widened as he looked down—seeing the message appear on the app screen. It read: "I'm changing the location." A new address flashed on the screen—one they recognized immediately as being right where they currently stood at that moment. Dabi's heart raced—his grip on Overhaul's phone tightening—as realization dawned on them all simultaneously... Random had moved its entrance directly to their hospital room doorstep...

The sudden blackout plunged the hospital into chaos—innocent people screaming and panicking in the darkness.

Dabi: "Fuck!"

He cursed under his breath—realizing their mistake.

Overhaul: "We brought all these innocent people into danger just by being here."

His face paled—guilt washing over him.

Toga: "Those people didn't sign up for this..."

She bit her lip nervously—her eyes adjusting slightly to the darkness.

Toga's voice trembled—her desperate hope that this was all just a nightmare hanging in the air.

Toga: "Maybe this is all a dream... Maybe we'll wake up soon and none of this will happen."

Overhaul's fists clenched tightly—his self-blame and guilt growing with each passing second.

Overhaul: "This was a bad idea. Now I've ruined lives here too."

Dabi tried to sound reassuring—but there was uncertainty in his voice as he looked around the suddenly quiet hospital.

Dabi: "They're probably fine..."

The hospital room door swung open by itself—creaking ominously as grotesque screaming spilled into the darkness. But just as quickly as the screams started—they died out, replaced by an eerie silence. On the phone, the text changed—a chilling countdown now displayed. "You broke my app and now say goodbye to your friend... or unless you make it here in ten days to save his life." Dabi's jaw tightened—reading the message aloud.

Dabi: "Ten days."

He repeated—looking at Toga and Overhaul.

Shigaraki blinked rapidly—taking in the scene before him as he finally woke up. He saw Overhaul's pale face—Toga's nervous biting of her lip—and Dabi's apologetic expression. His own fear rising—as realization dawned on him.

Shigaraki: "Don't tell me we're back in that place..."

He whispered—his voice trembling slightly despite trying to sound tough.

Dabi nodded solemnly.

Dabi: "Yeah sorry but it's the only way."

He explained simply—but there was no missing the sadness in his eyes...

Shigaraki's annoyance was palpable—as he blamed Dabi for putting them back in this dangerous situation.

Shigaraki: "For fuck's sake—I thought this would be the end of it!"

He snapped—his tough exterior barely hiding his underlying fear.

Shigaraki::"But hey if I die—it'll be mostly on you. I hope you think bringing us back was worth it."

Overhaul: "Dammit—I should've healed myself completely before opening that fucking app..."

He looked away guilt-ridden—his mind racing desperately for solutions.

The lights flickered back on—bathing the hospital room in a sterile, fluorescent glow. Overhaul blinked—disoriented for a moment before noticing the empty room. His heart sank—as he realized they were truly alone again in this nightmare.

Overhaul: "Guys...?"

He called out quietly—his voice echoing slightly in the empty space. Then his eyes widened in horror as he saw Random standing in the doorway—his demonic form towering over him.

Overhaul: "Random..."

He whispered—backed away slowly.

As Overhaul's eyes fluttered shut—he felt a warm hand on his shoulder. Opening his eyes slightly—he saw Dabi looking at him with concern etched onto his face. Shigaraki however—rolled his eyes and muttered under his breath.

Shigaraki: "He's probably just seeing things again."

Overhaul swallowed hard—trying to steady himself—but inside he was panicking—remembering Random's touch all too vividly...

Dabi's voice was soothing as he tried to calm Overhaul's nerves.

Dabi: "Hey, it's okay—you're fine."

He gently grasped Overhaul's hand—pulling him toward the door where the bloody path had suddenly materialized on the floor. Toga gasped softly—pointing at the crimson trail.

Toga: "The bloody path..."

Dabi's expression hardened with determination.

Dabi: "Let's head out and rescue Midoriya."

He declared—ready to lead them back into the nightmare...

In the shadows beyond their sight—Random watched them with gleeful anticipation. His laughter echoed softly through the darkness—a cruel, mocking sound.

Random: "They're back, I see... but those words he's saying aren't true."

He mused aloud—mocking Dabi's hopeful declaration about rescuing Midoriya.

Random: "Now... shall we start a new game?"

His voice dripped with sadistic excitement—an unseen smile stretching across his demonic face.

They followed the bloodied trail—its crimson stain leading them deeper into the hospital's dark corridors. Dabi led the group—keeping a watchful eye on everyone.

Dabi: "Everyone stayed together."

He warned—his tone was calm but firm.

Dabi: "If we get separated, we won't make it out of here."

Toga and Shigaraki walked close behind him—Overhaul shuffling along at the back, still shaken from his earlier hallucination. The path stretched endlessly—winding through empty hallways with no signs of life.

Overhaul's question hung heavy in the air.

Overhaul: "If we find Midoriya, then what next?"

He trailed his fingers along the corridor walls—testing his ability to use his Quirk in this world. Shigaraki's response was cautious.

Shigaraki: "This world lets us use our Quirks... but disassembling yourself is still risky as hell."

Dabi's calm demeanor never faltered as he noticed the bloody path stopping at a door with vivid handprints. Toga looked at the others, asking tentatively.

Toga: "Who wants to open it?"

Dabi stepped forward without hesitation.

Dabi: "I'll do it."

He pushed the door open slightly—peering out cautiously before swinging it wide open, revealing a sunny outdoor scene.

Dabi: "It's clear."

He reported—his hand resting on the axe handle at his side.

Dabi: "For now."

Overhaul stepped outside—his brow furrowing at the unexpected brightness.

Overhaul: "It's sunny... for some reason."

Shigaraki immediately spotted the continuation of the bloody trail leading onto the street.

Shigaraki: "The path keeps going."

He observed his eyes tracking its crimson course. Toga nodded in agreement.

Toga: "We should keep following it."

She said—her gaze fixed on the bloody path ahead.

The bloody path continued for several minutes—suddenly stopping at a motionless figure frozen mid-gesture, pointing toward something ahead. The group froze—Overhaul voicing their collective concern.

Overhaul: "Going over there might be a trap."

He warned—eyeing the figure suspiciously. But Shigaraki took initiative—walking forward confidently.

Shigaraki: "I'll go."

He approached the person—only to stop dead in his tracks as he got a closer look... The person's lower jaw was completely missing—torn away cleanly. Shigaraki stepped back slowly—his face pale as he whispered.

Shigaraki: "Just pass him up... don't look."

Overhaul's concern deepened—wondering what could have made Shigaraki react so strongly. As they carefully bypassed the figure—keeping their eyes averted—Overhaul finally understood why Shigaraki had warned them not to look... The person's jaw was gone—but their eyes were still blinking rapidly—almost pleadingly—as if they were trying to communicate something urgent through their mutilated face...

Overhaul couldn't resist the urge to investigate further—his hand reaching out to touch the person. Instantly, he used his Quirk to disassemble and reassemble them—restoring their jaw and fixing their face. Both Shigaraki and Toga gasped in shock as the person suddenly regained their normal appearance. The person, however, seemed terrified—spotting Overhaul's hand and realizing what had just happened. Without a word, they took off running—pushing past Shigaraki and Toga as they fled frantically.

Dabi's calm voice carried a hint of disapproval.

Dabi: "Overhaul, why did you do that?"

Overhaul: "Because that person is bait."

He explained, staring down at the bloodied path.

(In his mind).

"They'll probably think I'm fucked up, but this is the only way to detect traps along the way."

(Out of his mind).

Shigaraki's annoyance was evident as he confronted Overhaul face-to-face.

Shigaraki: "So it's human sacrifice now?"

He accused, his tone sharp.

Overhaul: "Go ahead, kill me."

He closed his eyes—resigned to his fate, expecting Shigaraki's blow.

Shigaraki's inner thoughts reflected his confusion and concern over Overhaul's seemingly suicidal behavior in this hellish place.

(In his mind).

"For some reason, I think Overhaul is suicidal... but in this place, who isn't?"

(Out of his mind).

Instead of attacking, Shigaraki placed a gentle hand on Overhaul's shoulder.

Shigaraki: "Idiot."

He muttered softly.

Shigaraki: "Don't lose your mind in this place."

Toga's teasing broke the tense moment as she called out their interaction.

Toga: "Enough with the gay romance and let's get going."

She declared—already walking ahead. Shigaraki protested immediately.

Shigaraki: "Hey! I don't like this guy!"

Overhaul joined in—though his counter felt half-hearted.

Overhaul: "He's not really my type."

He added—looking between them with mild annoyance. Their bickering was a welcome distraction from the horror surrounding them. Dabi watched silently—relieved to see some semblance of normal interaction returning among them.

Shigaraki's sudden curiosity caught Overhaul off guard.

Shigaraki: "What's your type then?"

He asked bluntly. Dabi quickly intervened—sensing the tension rising between them.

Dabi: "Enough guys, let's keep moving."

He urged—falling into step beside Toga. Shigaraki's proposal was both practical and unexpectedly sweet.

Shigaraki: "Since they're walking together, we should too...look out for each other."

He suggested—his nervousness evident in the slight flush on his cheeks. Overhaul's response was equally amicable—though there was an underlying tension between them that neither could quite define.

Overhaul: "Sure why not? I don't mind looking out for you."

He replied—a small smile playing on his lips. Their uneasy alliance formed as they fell into step behind Dabi and Toga.

Dabi's joking comment broke the serious mood—his playful tone encouraged them to pick up the pace and focus on their goal.

Dabi: "Get a move on! Midoriya can't save himself."

He teased—adding an unexpected twist.

Dabi: "And also...just kiss already!"

His comment sent a sudden blush across both Shigaraki and Overhaul's faces as they walked behind him and Toga. Toga giggled at Dabi's sudden matchmaking attempt.

Toga: "Looks like this world brings love too...who would've thought?"

Dabi's teasing had its desired effect—eliciting blushes and flustered reactions from both Shigaraki and Overhaul. Shigaraki's response was immediate and visceral.

Shigaraki: "Bastard!"

He muttered—clenching his fists in annoyance at Dabi's comment. Overhaul's response was quieter but equally telling.

Overhaul: "Idiot."

He mumbled to himself—before starting to walk after Dabi and Toga. He paused—glancing back to check on Shigaraki.

In the distance, a figure stood smiling eerily as they watched the group approach the city. With a wave of their hand, pink smoke billowed into the air—spreading swiftly towards the potential victims. The group stopped dead in their tracks as the pink smoke enveloped the entrance to the city—an unsettling haze blocking their path. Dabi's eyes narrowed as he studied the smoke, trying to discern its purpose.

Dabi: "What the hell is this?"

He muttered under his breath.

Shigaraki's blunt assessment summed up their situation perfectly.

Shigaraki: "Well, this sucks."

He stared at the pink smoke, his expression unreadable. Dabi's voice was firm and practical as he suggested their next course of action.

Dabi: "It's probably poisonous. We should cover our faces just to be safe."

Overhaul nodded slowly—his gaze fixed on the entrance shrouded in pink smoke.

Overhaul: "Okay then."

Toga looked around at the group—her eyes filled with dread.

Toga: "Well, have any ideas?"

She asked hesitantly.

Overhaul chewed on his lip—processing the situation logically.

Overhaul: "The pink smoke is probably surrounding the entire city."

He reasoned.

Overhaul: "We don't know if it's poisonous or not, and we don't know how long we can hold our breaths."

His mind raced through possibilities.

Overhaul: "But since we have our Quirks, it might be useful..."

His plan was simple—create a tunnel underground to avoid the pink smoke. Shigaraki raised an eyebrow skeptically.

Shigaraki: "Seriously, going underground?"

He watched as Overhaul carefully disassembled and reassembled the ground, forming a tunnel throughout the city. Dabi's question was valid and cautious.

Dabi: "What if going underground is even more dangerous?"

Overhaul paused—his brow furrowing as he considered the possibility. He looked up at the group—his expression determined.

Overhaul: "Then we'll deal with whatever's down there."

Dabi's suggestion was met with stunned silence. Toga's eyes widened in shock, her voice trembling as she responded.

Toga: "Split up? Are you serious, Dabi?"

Shigaraki's expression turned grim, his voice laced with concern.

Shigaraki: "That's a fucking terrible idea. We stick together—always." Overhaul's gaze flickered between the city, the tunnel, and Dabi, his mind racing with the implications of splitting up.

Overhaul's composure snapped completely—he grabbed Dabi by the shirt, their faces now inches apart.

Overhaul: "You're insane! You said nothing would happen to me if I stayed with you!"

His voice cracked—fear and betrayal evident in his watery eyes. Shigaraki and Toga exchanged uneasy glances, both understanding why Overhaul was so upset. Dabi's response was unflinching.

Dabi: "You'll be fine—Shigaraki's going with you. Toga's with me."
