As they run towards the city, they witness horrific scenes of people attacking and eating each other, their eyes glazed over with hunger and madness.
Shigaraki: "Random chose zombies? Are you kidding me?! This is a horror movie!"
He grabs both Dabi and Overhaul's hands, pulling them away from the bloodbath towards a nearby building for cover.
Shigaraki: "In here! Now!"
Overhaul: "Zombies... He really is trying to destroy everything we know."
Overhaul: "How are people dying so fast? We have quirks—Random must be targeting the strongest first. What if All Might is already infected? What if he's out there as a zombie right now?"
His voice trembles with worry and horror at the thought of the strongest hero turned into one of those mindless creatures.
Shigaraki: "Overhaul... calm down. We don't know that for sure."
Dabi: "He has a point though. Random would go after the strongest heroes first to weaken our defenses."
Dabi: "Nothing makes sense right now. The civilians are dying, and normally All Might or Endeavor would have this under control by now. But there's nobody here—no heroes, just chaos and death."
He looks at Shigaraki and Overhaul, his expression grim.
Shigaraki: "If All Might is infected... that means there are probably stronger, more powerful zombies out there. Like the bosses in those horror games."
Overhaul: "We're screwed if he's one of them."
Overhaul: "If All Might is a zombie, then with his One For All quirk, he'll be nearly impossible to kill."
He slumps against the wall, frustration and fear mixing in his voice.
Shigaraki looks at Overhaul and Dabi, his expression a mix of fear and excitement.
Shigaraki: "Sorry... I just... this is like something out of my favorite zombie game. It's sick, I know, but part of me is actually kind of thrilled."
He catches himself, seeing their confused and concerned expressions.
Shigaraki: "Not thrilled about people dying, obviously!"
Overhaul notices the odd expression and asks
Overhaul: "Why are you happy about this?"
Dabi explains.
Dabi: "Sorry, it's just Shigaraki is really into video games. He loves these kinds of situations."
Overhaul groans.
Overhaul: "If All Might is a zombie, his quirk will make him nearly impossible to kill. I hate this... I just want to see my boss."
He leans against the wall, his anxiety growing.
Shigaraki: "You'll see your boss soon. But right now, we need to combine our quirks and try to find our friends and family—hopefully safe and sound."
He pats Overhaul's back reassuringly.
Dabi: "Yeah, let's do this. We stick together and use our abilities to survive."
Overhaul nods slowly, pushing off the wall with renewed determination.
Overhaul: "Alright... let's go."
They exit the building cautiously, ready to face whatever horrors await them outside.
Dabi: "..."
(In his mind).
"I don't know if Overhaul's boss is still alive, especially given the current situation. I wonder if he died or turned into a zombie, whether he would remain sane or become insane."
(Out of his mind).
Shigaraki: "I've seen more zombie movies than both of you combined, so you could say I'm the most experienced here. From what I remember, once people turn, they usually start out slow and shambling. But after a few weeks, they mutate—and that's when they get fast and dangerous."
He recalls his countless lonely nights watching horror films in the dark, information suddenly useful in this nightmare.
Dabi: "Great, so we have a limited window. Any other helpful tips, movie expert? So, you're saying we might have a chance against them right now, but later... not so much."
He looks around nervously, his blue flames flickering at his fingertips.
Overhaul: "Great... just what I always wanted—zombie apocalypse knowledge from a guy who watches too many horror movies."
He tries to force a smile, but his voice is shaky with fear.
Shigaraki: "Hey, I'm just saying what I know."
Overhaul: "Some horror movies are different, but that's a good point—at least. However, this isn't a movie, and these zombies have Quirks. That changes everything. A zombie with a powerful Quirk is exponentially more dangerous."
Dabi: "However, Overhaul, not all zombies have powerful Quirks. Most are probably just civilians with weak or useless abilities. We should be fine... except if All Might is a zombie. Then we have a real problem."
He looks at Overhaul seriously.*
Overhaul: "Good point. I'll disassemble and reassemble the path ahead, creating a clear route just for us. Dabi, you use your flames to burn down any zombies that try to follow or get too close."
He calmly bends down, placing his hand on the floor, ready to activate his Quirk.
Shigaraki: "Wait! If you make a path like that, you might attract the stronger zombies—like All Might or Endeavor. We all know what All Might could do..."
Overhaul: "This is where you come in—you're on the lookout. And besides, the zombies outside are using their Quirks. Maybe they can't control themselves, or perhaps... they're using them to lure out living people by making them think there's a hero outside."
He pauses, thinking hard.
Overhaul: "But who would fall for that? Who's stupid enough to believe a zombie is a hero?"
Shigaraki: "Overhaul... wait. What if—"
His eyes widen in realization.
Dabi: "Yeah... let's use our Quirks judiciously. Overhaul, your plan is good, but let's not forget—if All Might is indeed a zombie, he could kill all three of us in a second. We need to be prepared for that possibility."
He looks at Overhaul calmly, his mind racing with worst-case scenarios.
Shigaraki: "And if he's a fast zombie... like, really fast... we won't even see him coming."
He shudders at the thought.
Overhaul: "You're right... We'll have to do this the old-fashioned way—sneaking around without making any noise."
He stands up, looking at Dabi and Shigaraki with a determined expression.
Shigaraki: "Fine, let's do it."
He moves towards the exit, followed by Dabi and Overhaul. He peeks out cautiously and sees zombies using their Quirks—some creating barriers, others emitting dangerous energy blasts.
Dabi: "This is going to be tricky..."
Overhaul: "Everyone, stay quiet."
He whispers, cautiously stepping out from their hiding place and leading them toward a nearby dark alleyway. He stops suddenly, looking up at a ladder that might lead to an apartment rooftop.
Shigaraki: "Once you're up there, check if there are any zombies around before we follow."
He whispers, keeping his eyes peeled on the alley entrance.
Overhaul: "That's what I was thinking."
He whispers back, grabbing the ladder and climbing up quickly but silently. He heads towards the rooftop stairs, peeking over the edge to scout the area. Suddenly, he spots something flying in the sky and notices it's a military plane. Dabi and Shigaraki, now climbing the ladder, also look up as they hear the plane's microphone blaring.
The military plane: "ATTENTION ALL CITIZENS. THIS IS THE MILITARY."
The military plane: "...at the outskirts of the city, near the old stadium. However, the journey is long and dangerous. You must avoid all zombies and infected individuals."
Suddenly, a massive figure comes flying towards the plane, and they watch in horror as All Might himself destroys the airplane with a single punch.
Shigaraki: "Told you."
He smirks at Overhaul, clearly enjoying the confirmation of his fears.
Overhaul: "Whatever." *
He rolls his eyes at Shigaraki's smug expression.
Dabi: "All Might being a zombie makes everything infinitely harder, especially for us survivors who actually want to live."
They continue climbing the ladder, reaching the roof just in time to hear distant screeches. Dabi looks over and freezes, seeing a zombie that eerily resembles his father, Endeavor.
Shigaraki: "Dabi? Is that...?"
Overhaul: "Hold up a second... I just realized something. If All Might is a zombie, don't you think All For One might be one too?"
He looks at the others with a mix of fear and realization.
Shigaraki: "That actually slipped my mind."
He smiles nervously, trying to process the horrific possibility.
Dabi: "Great... Just what we needed. The most powerful villain in the world as a zombie."
He swallows hard.
Dabi: "We might as well give up now."
Overhaul: "Fuck, fuck, fuck."
He mutters, spotting an apartment building filled to the brim with zombies. He quickly makes his way back down the stairs, meeting up with Shigaraki and Dabi.
"This place is a no-go. Too many zombies."
Shigaraki: "So, what now? We can't stay here."
Dabi: "We'll have to find another route. One that avoids those buildings."
They all exchange worried glances, realizing just how dangerous their situation is.
Dabi: "Overhaul, I have an idea. How about we go underground? We can avoid All Might and the rest of the zombies that way. You could create a tunnel with your Quirk, and I could use my flames to light our path."
He looks at Overhaul with determination.
Overhaul: "Fine, it's better than dealing with this shit."
He agrees to the plan, knowing they need to act fast.
Shigaraki: "Okay, let's do it. Underground it is."
Dabi: "Once we find our friends and family, we can track down Random and hopefully end this nightmare once and for all."
He looks at Overhaul and Shigaraki with a calm but determined expression, trying to maintain some semblance of hope in their desperate situation.
Overhaul: "Let's just focus on surviving first. Finding everyone else comes second."
He begins to use his Quirk, slowly disassembling the ground beneath them to create an underground tunnel.
(In the background).
Random: "Zombies aren't the only ones that are here..."
Dabi: "Let's go."
They hear gunshots in the distance, followed by the sound of something massive moving on top of the buildings. Shigaraki quickly pushes Dabi into the tunnel as Overhaul finishes creating the entrance.
Shigaraki: "It's All Might. He's up there."
He hurriedly goes into the tunnel after Dabi, with Overhaul bringing up the rear. They move quickly through the darkness, guided only by Dabi's flickering flames.
Overhaul: "Stay quiet and keep moving."
The three are running through Overhaul's underground tunnel, the direction they're headed points towards the Shie Hassaikai headquarters location.
Shigaraki: "Which one is worse—being killed by zombies or being killed by All Might?"
He looks at Overhaul and Dabi while running, trying to lighten the mood with morbid humor.
Overhaul: "Both are equally shitty ways to die, but All Might would make it quick. Zombies? They'd eat you alive first."
Dabi: "What do you think?"
He turns back, using his Quirk to shoot out flames from his right hand, aiming it towards the entrance of the tunnel. They hear heavy footsteps coming towards them, fast.
Overhaul: "Shit, shit, shit."
He picks up his pace, dragging Shigaraki along with him.
Overhaul: "Could be anyone—or anything."
After a few minutes of running, they finally reach the old Shie Hassaikai headquarters building underground. They all collapse onto the floor, panting heavily from the exhaustion.
Shigaraki: "I miss when we used cars for transportation."
He sits down between Dabi and Overhaul, leaning back against the wall.
Overhaul: "Yeah... those were the days."
He catches his breath, looking around the abandoned headquarters.
Overhaul: "At least we made it here alive."
Dabi: "For now..."
Dabi: "I don't know what's worse—staying in Random's world or him fusing our worlds together."
He looks at Overhaul and Shigaraki, still panting heavily.
Overhaul: "Both options suck majorly. Staying in Random's world means dealing with his shit forever. Fusing our worlds... that's just inviting chaos."
Shigaraki: "Yeah... either way, we're fucked."
He wipes sweat off his forehead.
Shigaraki: "At least here we know the layout."
Overhaul: "Hopefully my boss is still alive."
He uses his Quirk to disassemble and reassemble the ground beneath them, creating a platform of rock that pushes them all up through the tunnel and back to the surface near the old Shie Hassaikai headquarters.
Dabi: "Damn, your Quirk is badass."
He smirks at Overhaul, impressed despite the dire circumstances.
Shigaraki: "Yeah, but can you do that without nearly crushing us?"
He rubs his sore back.
Shigaraki: "Hey, our quirks are similar!"
He says with a hint of jealousy, comparing his corrosion ability to Overhaul's disassembly.
Dabi: "Your Quirk is always badass, Shigaraki."
He smiles reassuringly at Shigaraki, knowing he hates feeling inferior.
Overhaul: "Guys... we have company."
He looks over and sees zombified former Hassaikai members shuffling towards them, recognizable faces now twisted and monstrous.
Overhaul: "The zombies got here too?"
He looks at the horde of former Hassaikai members, his heart sinking with the realization that his boss might be among them.
Overhaul: "No... no way!"
He bends down, using his Quirk to disassemble and reassemble the ground beneath the zombies, creating massive spikes that impale them instantly, reducing their numbers significantly.
Dabi: "Overhaul, calm down!"
He grabs Overhaul's collar, pulling him back.
Dabi: "You're wasting energy!"
Shigaraki: "Where is your boss anyway?"
He looks at Overhaul, genuinely concerned.
Overhaul: "Not that far from here!"
He begins running off in the indicated direction, desperate to find the truth—only to stop abruptly when he sees something on the ground.
Dabi: "Overhaul, wait—"
He calls out, but sees what Overhaul has found.
Overhaul: "..."
He stares at the torn piece of familiar clothing—his boss's coat—now drenched in blood.
Overhaul: "...No way. He can't be..."
He kneels down, picking up the blood-soaked piece of clothing, his boss's signature coat. The sight fills him with despair, making him think the worst.
Dabi: "Get a hold of yourself!"
He grabs Overhaul roughly, trying to snap him out of his grief.
Shigaraki: "Maybe he's still alive! What if he left in a hurry and dropped it?"
He tries to offer hope, knowing Overhaul is falling apart.
Overhaul: "My boss is dead... I have nothing now..."
He completely breaks down, tears streaming down his face as he clutches the bloody piece of clothing. All his purpose, his loyalty, his everything is gone.
Dabi: "Snap out of it, you idiot! He might not be dead!"
He shakes Overhaul hard, trying to get through to him.
Shigaraki: "Overhaul, your boss is the toughest man alive. If anyone can survive this, it's him."
(In his mind).
"It's obvious that he's dead, but we can't afford to lose Overhaul right now. Not with everything that's happening."
He keeps his thoughts to himself, knowing Overhaul needs hope, no matter how slim.
(Out of his mind).
Shigaraki: "Overhaul, look."
He points at the bloody footprints leading away from the scene.
Shigaraki: "Those could be your boss's. Let's follow them."
Dabi: "Yeah, come on. Let's go."
(In his mind).
"What if he's a zombie? Do I have to kill him? Give him mercy since Overhaul clearly can't do it right now. But what if Overhaul snaps completely if that happens? Do I leave him behind?"
His internal debate is heavy as they follow the bloody footprints, his hand unconsciously going to the knife at his belt that he found earlier.
"No, of course not. We need to stick together. But Overhaul will carry that guilt forever if we have to do it... thinking it's his fault. Hopefully, I'll make the right decision when the time comes."
He shakes his head to clear his thoughts, focusing on the mission.
(Out of his mind).
Dabi walks silently behind Overhaul, keeping an eye on him and the surroundings, ready for anything.
Overhaul follows the bloody footprints, his heart pounding with each step. The footprints lead to Eri's room, where he finds a note taped to the door.
The note reads: "Chisaki, if you're reading this and you're alive, I've taken Eri to a safe camp. Hopefully, I'll see you there soon."
Overhaul stares at the note, shock and relief washing over him as he realizes his boss is alive.
Overhaul: "But where is that safe camp?!"
He mutters to himself.
Shigaraki: "At least now you know he's alive."
He leans against the wall, letting out a small sigh of relief.
Dabi: "Yeah, so stop moping."
He walks toward Overhaul, glancing at the note.
Dabi: "A safe camp... That's probably what the military plane was announcing before All Might destroyed it."
Overhaul: "Safe camp... I need to find it."
He clutches the note tightly, his eyes filled with renewed determination instead of despair.
Shigaraki: "First things first—I need to find out if Twice, Spinner, and Compress are still alive."
He pushes off the wall, his own determination burning behind his usual scowl.
Overhaul: "Fine, but we should get supplies first. Weapons, medicine, anything we can find."
He pockets the note carefully, his boss now is his motivation.
Shigaraki: "Oh yeah, good point."
He smiles nervously, suddenly realizing they haven't eaten or prepared for this apocalypse.
Dabi: "To be honest, I never thought about it until you mentioned it."
He rubs the back of his neck, blue flames flickering unconsciously at his fingertips.
Overhaul: "Good thing I'm here. You two idiots would never have thought about that on your own."
He smirks slightly, a small spark of confidence returning to his face.
Dabi: "Hey, I thought about supplies!"
He crosses his arms defensively.
Dabi: "I just didn't say it out loud!"
Shigaraki: "Yeah, Overhaul has a point. We almost forgot the most basic thing—food."
He pats his pockets, checking what limited resources he has.
Dabi: "So, you're the mom in the group."
He smirks slightly, teasing Overhaul with his newfound role.
Overhaul: "Shut up."
He rolls his eyes, but there's a hint of amusement in his voice.
Overhaul: "At least one of us is thinking straight."
Shigaraki: "Yeah, Overhaul is the practical one here."
He laughs lightly, relieved that they have someone to rely on for basic survival needs.
Shigaraki: "I'm starving, by the way."
(Meanwhile outside of the Shie Hassaikai Headquarters).
Dark rain clouds gather over the city of Japan, casting an ominous shadow. The weather radar picks up a massive typhoon approaching. Lightning flashes in the distance, illuminating the ruined streets. The wind begins to pick up, howling through the broken buildings.
Overhaul: "Great... just what we needed."
He looks up at the stormy sky with concern.
Dabi: "A typhoon? Perfect timing."
He scoffs sarcastically.
Shigaraki: "This is going to make everything worse."
Overhaul: "There's an underground facility somewhere—emergency supplies, food, water, backpacks. But it's only for people we trust."
He thinks quickly, remembering the secret location his boss showed him.
Overhaul: "If we can get there before the typhoon hits..."
Dabi: "You mean there's a safe place with actual supplies? You should've mentioned this earlier!"
He looks at Overhaul with a mix of relief and annoyance.
Shigaraki: "Where is this facility? We need to hurry."
Overhaul: "It's this way! Follow me!"
He sprints towards the location of the underground facility in the Shie Hassaikai base.
Overhaul: "So, I just need to enter the code, and we're in."
He rushes to the hidden table with a potted plant, pulls out the plant, and quickly types in the code with surprising speed, his ears perked for any approaching zombies.
Overhaul: "There."
The hidden door slides open silently.
Shigaraki: "Inside! Hurry!"
Overhaul: "Only me and the boss know the code. No one else bothered coming down here."
He closes the door firmly behind them, ensuring their safety inside.
Dabi: "If you guys packed emergency supplies, you must've known there was a possibility of an apocalypse like this."
He looks at Overhaul calmly, piecing together the implications.
Shigaraki: "So, the boss was prepared for something like this... That makes sense."
Overhaul: "Honestly, I begged the boss to set up this underground facility. Just in case something terrible happens globally. Never thought it would be now..."
He walks calmly down the stairs as the lights turn on automatically, illuminating the well-stocked facility.
Dabi: "Well, at least you thought ahead. This is going to come in handy."
He follows Overhaul, taking in the supplies and feeling grateful for their preparedness.
Shigaraki: "Overhaul, you might just be our savior right now."
