Entering into the place he hated the most, Oliver couldn't help but feel disgusted . After the incident that happened years ago he didn't believe in family or love. He believes that having a family or loving someone means bringing death closer to yourself. "If only my father didn't go to his brother for help everything should been better.If only my father wasn't blinded by sibling love he would have been alive now. If only my father had accepted his downfall , he would still be here with me. If only I was a grown up I would have saved them" Oliver told himself. He was felt that part of what happened in the past was his fault. He felt like if he was stronger and older his parent wouldn't have died , but in all this what could a little boy of five years possibly do. As he looked around he felt nothing but revenge and he must succeed with that no matter what it takes.
On his way to Alan office he bumped into a running little figure. He looked down only to meet Lucy's flushed face. He immediately held her and brought her clos to him to prevent her from falling. This action made both to make eye contact. During that eye contact everything seem to slow down.
"I'm so sorry" she apologized breaking the eye contact as she bent down to pick up the fallen files off the fall.
"It's fine " Oliver responded as he bent down to join her .
"Here you go . Sorry once again" She said haling over the files.
"It's fine"
"I'll be going then see you around"
Looking at her retreating figure he felt his chest tightens and that scared him.
During lunch Alan went down to see how his sister ti doing as it was her first day at work. He headed for the lunch area because he knows she dosen't like missing lunch.
"I see someone is enjoying herself" he said startling Lucy from behind .
"Big bro"she whinned "I don't want to choke on my food " she continued
"Sorry ma'am . I just wanted to see how you are doing "
"Apart from being stressed I'm doing fine"
"It's good to here that you're stressed "
"WHAT!"she said assumed by his word "You are supposed to comfort me" she continued.
"Why should I . It's not like you always comfort me" he replied jokingly
"You did not just say that" she said playfully smacking his arm.
While they were bickering with eachother, Oliver stood at a corner looking at them. Just observing if the people that killed his parents really gave birth to the pair he was seeing . He observed Alan comparing him to his father, Thomas . Honestly he couldn't find anything similar in terms of their behaviour. Thomas was not a cheerful type of person rather he complains a lot with greed written all over him but Alan was different. He was cheerful, happy and very comfortable . He was still looking the two when he heard some voices behind him.
"I know she bribed our school management to put her in her brother's company" one said
"Right?" the other replied
"Yeah . I mean look at her chatting with him. I heard he never comes to the dinning hall "
"And I think you should mind your business" Oliver said causing them to scramble away .
He could't believe that Lucy was Alan's little sister. He had his assistant confirm if it was true . Unfortunately , it was.
"This mission just became personal " he said facepalming himself.
