"Okay mom" Su Xier said in a nasal voice
"Sis now that you're back and you've left your past behind why don't you use the name that mom and Dad gave to you" Mu Xiao suggested, looking at the expectant eyes of her parents she couldn't refuse.
"Sure if it's alright with mom and dad" she responded
"Then can I call you Mu Xiu from now on" Ling Rui asked carefully
"Yes mom whatever that makes you happy" Mu Xiu replied giving her consent. That night the whole Mansion was lively and was filled with warmth which Su Xier hasn't felt for a long time.
"Alright it's enough let's go to sleep it's very late" Mu Linfeng announced when he saw that they had chatted till almost midnight.
"Okay I will take Mu Xiu to her room" Ling Rui said in agreement even though she wanted to spend more time with her daughter.
"Dad goodnight, goodnight everyone" Mu Xiu said yawning tiredly then she went upstairs with her mother.
"Goodnight" the brothers responded at the same time as they watched Mu Xiu go upstairs with their mother with a smile on their faces. Upstairs Ling Rui has brought her daughter to her new room
"If you have any preferences just let me know and I would get it done" Ling Rui said to Su Xier who was checking out the room.
"No mom I don't have any preferences, the room is just perfect and so is the colour, coincidentally purple is my favorite colour" Mu Xiu said happily
"Purple is also my favorite colour" Ling Rui said feeling excited too
"Wow!" Mu Xiu said feeling surprised too
"Now go to sleep, I don't want to keep you up any longer" Ling Rui said with a smile, then she closed the door. After everything that happened she was exhausted physically and mentally, now she had another chance to set her life straight so she was going to use it well tomorrow will mark the starting of a new phase of her life.
"Oh no , I forgot to call Hong Li" Mu Xiu exclaimed, she checked the time it was already past twelve.
"Nevermind I will give her a call tomorrow" she thought herself then she went to bed.
It was already morning so she washed up and went downstairs to help prepare breakfast "Good morning Dad" She greeted Mu Linfeng who was reading newspaper in the living room
"Morning Xiu, you're already up this early?" Mu Linfeng asked a little bit surprised. But he didn't know that Mu Xiu would always wake up early to prepare breakfast for Ning Lingchen so she was already used to the routine.
"Yes, Dad where's Mom? Is she already awake too" Mu Xiu asked looking around
"Yes she's awake, she is preparing breakfast in the kitchen" he replied
"Oh! I will go join her but Dad I will like to have a word with you later" she said to him
"Okay then we'll talk when when you are ready" Mu Linfeng nodded in understanding even though he was curious about what she wanted to talk about. Ling Rui who was preparing breakfast for the family came to the living room, she saw Mu Xiu and Mu Linfeng speaking to each other
"Mu Xiu why are you up so early, didn't you sleep well last night?" Ling Rui asked
"Mom this isn't fair, not only am I being ignored but you are also been impartial to me" Mu Xiao whined walking down the stairs to the living room
"Mu Xiao you're already 20 but you still act like a 15 year old" Ling Rui chided
"Mom is not the only one ignoring me sister is also the same, she hasn't said a single word to me since she arrived but she kept on talking to eldest brother and second brother" Mu Xiao said puffing his cheeks angrily.
