Chapter 4: The Shadow of Jealousy
The romantic atmosphere of the party was suddenly shattered by a sharp, mocking voice. Isabella, a world-famous model and an Omega who had long been trying to claim Si Jin for herself, sashayed toward them with fire in her eyes.
Isabella: (Laughing, though her eyes were filled with malice) Oh, Si Jin! I expected you to arrive with a global icon, but instead, you brought your... "servant" along?
Joon Jimeya: (Flustered, trying to pull their hand away) Sir, perhaps I should wait outside...
Kim Si Jin: (Tightening his grip on Joon, his voice turning ice-cold) Watch your tongue, Isabella. Joon is far more than just my artist. Besides, my taste has always been far beyond your reach.
Isabella: (Fuming) We'll see how long this "Golden Touch" lasts. People often get lost in the crowds of Paris, Joon. Be careful.
Midnight: The After-Party Tension
Back at the penthouse after the party, a heavy silence filled the air. Joon felt a wave of sadness, worried that their presence was tarnishing Si Jin's flawless public image.
Joon Jimeya: Sir... maybe Isabella was right. People will talk. I'm just an ordinary person, and you're a global superstar. Our worlds don't match.
Kim Si Jin: (Loosening his tie, stepping slowly toward Joon) Do you really think I care about what "people" say? I am Kim Si Jin. I take what I want, and I keep what is mine.
Joon Jimeya: But our relationship... it's professional, isn't it?
Kim Si Jin: (Suddenly pinning Joon against the wall, his Alpha aura flooding the room) Do you truly believe I invite just anyone onto my private jet? Or hand-pick silk gowns for just any employee?
(Si Jin leans in so close that their breaths mingle. He bows his head toward Joon's neck, where their scent is the most intoxicating.)
Kim Si Jin: This scent of yours... it's driving me mad. Tonight, you aren't going anywhere. You're staying right here with me. This isn't an order, Joon... it's a request.
Joon Jimeya: (Heart hammering against their chest) Sir...
Kim Si Jin: (In a low, husky whisper) Don't call me "Sir" when we're alone. Say my name, Joon.
