Date : November 13th
Jesper turned on the radio and searched for a good radio station to listen to while driving, he kept looking until a station popped up,

Jesper changed the station and the one he changed it to had music playing so he kept it, while Jesper was bopping to the music Lani seemed kind of irritated,
''Soo, how old were you guys when you all met? '' Badr tried to change the mood by asking questions.
''I was 12 when I met Jesper and he was 13, we met Lani when she was 13'' Sophy replied to Badr as soon as he finished the question.
''Hey, cheer up already, this was supposed to be a fun time'' Jesper told Lani he looked back and away from the road.
''Eyes on the road dumb dumb'' Sophy said in a understandably mad tone,
''Sorry''
Jesper said as he turned around and faced the road, about 2 minutes later Badr asked a sarcastic question,
''What's your hobbies? besides doing make up all day''
Lani sighed and replied,
''Reading books and doing makeup, all day long'' .
Badr chuckled and told her,
''Not tryna be flashy or anything but, I love reading books, I have a huge collection of comic books and poetry in my friend's home, sadly I don't have any proof''
Sophy and Lani looked at each other and Sophy said,
''Liar liar, pants on fire! '',
Badr laughed.
''You don't believe me? damn ok I guess I'll show you when we get there''
Badr told the two and Jesper jumped into the conversation by asking,
''Wait so, do you only have comics and poetry? '' And Badr replied,
''Not only those, I have geography, historical books and mythology books, which one of you are very much interested in'' .
Jesper looked surprised on how Badr could remember a small detail from years ago
(When they were kids, Jesper used to love reading mythology books, they were 7-9 years old)
''I remember everything homie, Mr Viking'' Badr said as he laid back onto the car seat,
''Since you know Jesper so much, when is his birthday?'' Lani asked him,
His heart stopped for a second,
he didn't really remember.
''Uhh, August 17th?"
Badr said and Jesper snickered, and replied
''That's yours bro''.
''Oh, well I think I might kno-''
Badr got cut off by Lani and she said
''April 10th''.
Silence erupted among the group as they were on the road,
''Hey it's all good, its just my birthday right? nothing too important, like when we first met'' Jesper told the group,
Badr started sweating heavily,
''Right...?''
Jesper asked again,
And Badr started sweating profusely.
The group finally arrived at the theme park after that long ride full of deadly silence,
''Hey Badr, buy us some tickets while I park the car''
Jesper told Badr while slowly driving off,
''So ladies, follow me'' Badr told Sophy and Lani,
But Sophy and Jesper had planned a plan that is the most planest plan of all plans.
Previously : Back at the house
Time : 7:22 Pm
''Hey Sophy, come here for a second''
Jesper called Sophy to their room,
''What? '' Sophy asked as she walked in,
Jesper locked the door behind her,
''So I have a plan, We'll go to a theme park and invite Badr, and since Lani hates him so much, we can just get them to get closer to each other''
Jesper said as Sophy sat down on the bed visibly interested,
''Why though? '' Sophy asked confusingly, and Jesper sighed.
''Lani does not wanna give a chance for Badr to be cool with her, I know what kind of person Badr is because, he didn't change abit from the last time I saw him''
Jesper replied to her, Sophy then realised what Jesper was trying to do and said,
''Oh, you want them to become close and not hate each other so we can go to Japan without any problems and complications'' .
Jesper crossed his arms and nodded his head yes,
''Sounds...good to me? '' Sophy said and shrugged.
At the theme park
Time : 8 Pm
''Quit being so hard to get, I'm not even trying to get you''
Badr told Lani as he bought the tickets for the others,
''Here, your ticket, and you have a huge ass pimple on your nose''
Badr told her as he leaned closer,
''Wait where? I didn't see one when I was doing my makeup'' Lani said while trying to feel where the pimple was.
Badr boops her nose and said,
''Boop, got you'' and laughed,
Lani's face turned bright red and she grabbed Badr by the collar of his jacket and pulled him closer,
''Enough with this lovey dovey shit your trying to pull, I'll beat the balls out of you until they fall off right here, right now''
Lani told Badr while trying to whisper as much as she can,
''Damn girl, your even pretty when your mad'' Badr whisper to her,
Sophy and Jesper were walking towards them while talking about the situation they put both of them in,
''She not really go do it now is she? ''
Sophy asked and Jesper replied
''Maybe, maybe not, she's unpredictable, she might knock his teeth out'' .
While Jesper and Sophy were walking towards them, Lani was about to throw hands with Badr,
''You little shit, I'm not joking around, stop doing that''
Lani tells Badr,
''Suree, I'll stop'' Badr replied but, that just made her more angry and she finally snapped and told him,
''That's it, say one more word and you'll no longer have your balls''.
''Oof, be careful, I might fall for you after that''
Badr said as he put his hands on her shoulder.
''Fuck you, weirdo'' Lani said as she was gonna punch Badr in his stomach,
But Jesper and Sophy came just in time to stop the brawl, and Lani let go of Badr and he walked back a few steps,
''Shit, your pretty strong, Sorry for pissing you off''
Badr tells Lani as he extends his hand to Lani to have a hand shake,
''Get lost dipshit'' Lani tells him and shakes his hand.
The group then heads inside the theme park and sat down in a cafe where they talked about few things and about themselves,
''I never really passed my classes when I was in highschool, it was just too hard for me'' Badr tells the others while Jesper nodded his head,
''I mean I had it perfectly in highschool, even tried to become a nurse, my dad always wanted me to become a doctor and save lives, but it never worked out''
Lani told the group as she sipped on her cappuccino,
''Damn, what happened after that? '' Badr asked Lani as he also sipped his own cappuccino,
Lani breathed in and then sighed, ''He died, I never got to attend medical school, so I just stopped caring and stayed with Jesper and Sophy"
Lani told Badr as he rubbed his nose.
''You know...You and I are alike'' Badr tells her while finishing up his coffee,
''What do you mean by, we're similar'' Lani asks him and Badr answers,
''I also wanted to live up to my parent's expectations, wanted to join the army and go to medical school from there, but as fate has it, they discharged me from the army after just 4 months of training, never got to join med school, but it's a lose win situation, at least now i know how to operate guns''
Badr told Lani and chuckled while she was drinking her coffee and eating some biscuits.
''Maybe you're right, maybe'' she said and shrugged,
''Hey come on, finish up and let's go ride some rides, it's getting kinda boring'' Sophy urges the three as she stands up from the chair,
''But Lani isn't done?" Badr tells her while looking sort of confused
''I know, so Lani drink up! I can't wait to get on that scary coaster'' Sophy tells the others as she got excited,
''Well uh, you and Jesper could go while me and Lani catch up to some things, if she doesn't mind'' Badr tells Sophy as he looks at Lani,
''Sure'' Sophy replied and dashed outside,
''Catch y'all in a bit'' Jesper tells them and Badr waved bye to him.
Now it was only Badr and Lani left on that table,
both sat silently and looking at their half empty and empty cups,
Badr called up a the waiter,
''Yeah I would like one more large cappuccino with no added sugar please'' Badr told the waiter and the waiter asked
''What about the lady? '' And Badr looked at Lani and she replied
''A small cappuccino'' The waiter nodded and left the table,
''So how did your...father die? '' Badr felt a little hesitant to ask her that but, she replied to him,
''He had liver cancer, he couldn't stop drinking even when the doctor urged him to stop, he never stopped''
Lani looked a bit sad after saying that,
''I'm sorry to hear that...I take it you were both very close'' Badr tells her and she nodded quietly.
''Lifes a bitch, it takes good people and leaves the assholes alive, my mom used to say that all the time'' Badr told Lani as he rubbed the empty coffee cup,
''Mhm...'' Lani replied quietly almost unheard, after that they both just stayed silent for a few seconds,
''I think we should just head outside, Jesper and Sophy are probably waiting for us by now''
Lani said as she stood up from her seat and Badr told her something that made her rethink how she thought of him from that point,
''Lani look, I know times can be tough sometimes, especially after a close family member dies, if your feeling like you have no one to lean on when times get dark, you can give me a call, I'll try my best to- ''
Badr didn't get to finish what he was going to say before Lani left the table and walked outside the cafe,
Badr cussed, deeply sighed and stood up and walked to the cashier, ''I ordered 1 large Cappuccino and a small, could I have those on take away? '' .
As Lani walked out of the cafe she started tearing up, so instead of crying infront of the entire world and being full of embarrassment she hid behind the cafe.
The ground was wet and dirty, the garbage bins were full,
Badr brought back a pain she wanted desperately to go away,
but also a feeling of comfort in the same time as they spoke,
as she tried to rub off the tears on her face and the snot, Badr walked outside the cafe holding two cups in his hands and looking around for Lani but he couldn't find her, he put down the coffee on a table and pulled out his cellphone to call Lani, be when he tried to call her, he remember that her cellphone died while they were driving to the theme park.
Badr started cussing and kicked the ground, when he calmed down he grabbed the coffee cups and went to look for Lani, meanwhile that happened,
Lani was trying to find her tissues in her purse and her front pockets, but she forgot to bring them, she begged that there would be at least some tissues in her back pockets, but when she checked, there were none, out of anger she kept kicking the garbage bin.
While kicking it she started to cry again, she slowly stopped,
''Why...Why'' Lani said as she cried,
Badr was yelling Lani's name while trying to call Jesper and after a total of 4 times, Jesper answered,
''Yo what happened''
Jesper said as he picked up the call,
''Is Lani with you? she got sad and left the cafe'' Badr asked Jesper,
both Jesper and Sophy became concerned and asked Badr to look around while they were coming to the cafe to look for her together, so Badr continued to yell Lani's name.
Lani suddenly heard her name being yelled, and she recognized the voice to be Badr's and she said,
''No, no no, not now'' while trying to clean off the snot and tears from her face using her sleeves, Badr got behind the cafe and yelled for Lani and this time she finally responded,
''I- Im here, stop yelling please'' While waving her hand and looking downwards.
''Lani where the fuck did you go? I had to look all over for you''
Badr told her while still holding the two coffee cups,
''Im sorry...I-'' Lani got cut off by Badr telling her
''Were you...Crying? '' and she just looked down to her feet and stood there,
''Lani! Lani for fuck sake!! '' Sophy yelled as they walked behind the cafe.
''It's okay, you're okay, also hey I got your coffee, still hot and ready to drink'' Badr said as he handed her the coffee cup,
''Lani! you there!? '' Sophy kept yelling out,
''We're here! '' Badr yelled out and Lani took the coffee cup from him,
''Thanks'' Lani said as she lightly snorted, Badr looked her, he took a second and hesitated, but in the end he hugged her.
''What happened? '' Sophy asked while Badr and Lani walked out of the dark alley, As Sophy grabbed Lani,
she dropped the cup because of her shaky hands, but Sophy didn't care and just asked Lani
''Are you ok? Sweetheart your makeup is all ruined''.
''Yeah, I should've just shut up'' Badr told Jesper a he walked to him, Jesper turned and walked with Badr,
''So what happened? We left you guys for a few minutes, tell me from the beginning''
Jesper asked Badr while they both were standing in front the cafe,
Badr sighed and rubbed his eyes,
''We were talking about her dad and how he died, and then I saw that she was pretty sad and I tried to comfort her and tell her that- ''
Badr tried to finish but he saw Lani and Sophy walking towards them and he could see that Sophy was visibly pissed,
''We'll talk about it when we get home'' Jesper told Badr as he patted his shoulder.
The group ended up leaving the theme park earlier than planned, as the group was walking to their car Badr walked up to Lani and tapped her shoulder, she turned around and Badr handed her his coffee,
''You dropped yours back at the park, it's fine I didn't wanna drink it anyways''
Badr told Lani as she took it, Lani looked at Badr as he looked away,
''Thank you'' Lani says softly to Badr, but he just turned to her and smiled.
The group got to their car, Lani and Sophy went to the backseat while Jesper was driving and Badr was in the front passenger seat,
The whole car ride back to their home was silent,
no one spoke a word but the radio announcer every 10 minutes.
They got back to their apartment and parked the car outside, Lani and Sophy got out of the car and headed inside, while Jesper and Badr chatted outside,
''So what happened was that, I tried to comfort her, but she just got all sad and went outside, I went to grab out coffee and walked out myself, couldn't find her so I called you, later I found her in an alley behind the cafe crying''
Badr tells Jesper as he was moving his hands, clearly saddened by what happened,
''It's alright man, shit happens, Lani's pretty sensitive with that topic'' Jesper said as he pulled out a pack of cigarettes and asked
''You smoke? '',
''Nah I'm good'' And leaned on the car, after a little bit of more chit chatting,
Jesper and Badr finished up and we're about to head home,
''Want me to drive you? '' Jesper asked Badr, '
'I'll walk back home, my house ain't far from here'' Badr said while his arms were crossed,
''You sure? '' Jesper asked and Badr nodded his head.
Date : November 14th
Time: 12 Am
Both of them bid each other farewell and Badr walked away from the home with his hands in his pockets, while all that was happening,
Lani was watching everything from the upstairs window and as Jesper was going to turn around and go inside he saw that Lani was watching and they just looked at each other for a few seconds, before Jesper threw the cigarette on the ground and got into the house.
Later when Jesper and Sophy were dead asleep, Lani stayed up thinking about what went down in the theme park,
deeply thinking about it, that she even questioned her attitude towards Badr,
But there was still something bothering her, in her eyes, it felt as if it was all planned, a thought out plan to get her to trust him and open up.
(But maybe...He was just trying...Being nice to me...) Lani said to herself as she slowly fell asleep.
Time : 10:03 Am
Lani woke up to knocking on her door,
She slowly got up from bed, rubbing her eyes as she walked to the door dragging her feet on the floor,
As she opens it she saw Sophy standing on the other side of the with her hands behind her back trying to hide something, but Lani could see something sticking out from her back and she asked,
''What? ''
While blinking her eyes trying to see better,
''A certain person sent you something, that's what'' Sophy told her as she scooted into the room.
Then Sophy pulled out a big bouquet of flowers with an letter in the middle,
''Come on! Open it and read it! I'm gonna die from curiosity''
Sophy tells Lani while urging her to read it,
Lani sighed and walked towards her bed and sat down,
''You read it, I'm too tired to do anything'' Lani tells Sophy as she fell backwards onto the bed and laid there,
Sophy opened the letter and read its contents to Lani.
''I'm sorry about what happened last night, so I decided to buy you this as means of cheering you up, It might not do much but, hope you're feeling well, from B.M"
''Aww thats so sweet of him'' Sophy said as she smelled the flowers,
''Give me those'' Lani tells Sophy as she stood up from the bed and took the bouquet from Sophy and looked at them.
''How does he know my favourites? '' Lani asked Sophy and looked towards her, but Sophy just shrugged and walked out of the room.
Lani was left alone in the room, with her thoughts while smelling the fresh flowers that Badr got her and thought.
''What kind of initials are B.M" .
Date : November 25th
Time : 6:36 Am
Jesper was asleep when an unknown number called him on his phone,
the phone rang until Jesper picked up the phone and answered by saying,
''Hello? '',
But it was only Badr and he said
''Yooo, it's been a minute'' And Jesper replied,
''Yeah, it's been a while, how are you doing? '',
''Nothing much to be honest, but i'm doing alright, what about you? '' he asked Jesper while chewing on some breakfast,
''Same as every day...'' Jesper replied yawning.
Jesper could feel tension when talking to Badr, and he asked him,
''So I'm guessing, you have a job for me? '' ,
Jesper asked Badr while he is still laid back in bed,
''Yeah, It's out of nowhere but, your the only guy I can rely to be honest, we should talk about it at the warehouse where we met''
Badr tells Jesper and he replies with,
''Alright, what time?'' ,
''Whenever you're free'' Badr tells him, and Jesper takes a moment and then replies.
''How about 5 pm? '' ,
There was a moment of silence on the call and,
Then Badr said.
''Fine by me''.
