"I heard you will be transfer to Imperial Alliance. Congratulation, Lieutenant Luz." Mavi smirked. Luz looks at his best friend with annoyed. He then sighed.
"Yeah, that's right. I will appoint to Imperial Alliance starting next two month but Captain asking me to get there next month so that we can understand the city layout and its culture there." Luz replied smiling at Mavi.
"We? What do you mean we?" Mavi wondered. Luz smiles wider.
"Don't tell me… I also will be transfer there!!!" Mavi shocked and Luz nod his head.
A woman walks toward Luz desk with hurry. The two of them looking with each other when the woman stop in front of the desk with worry expression.
"Is it true? You will be transfer?" she asked sadly.
"Yes, Rosa. We will be transfer." Luz said.
"How could you leave me behind… I don't care. I will tell papa to transfer me with you." Rosa said with dissatisfied.
Luz sighed heavily. He opens his drawer and pulls out two envelop from in it.
"Sergeant Mavi, Sergeant Rosa." Luz said in his leader tone.
"Yes, Lieutenant." Both of them salute at him.
"I hereby representing the Captain announce that both of you being order by the headquarters to be appoint with me to Imperial Alliance under the same department. We will be living at Imperial City next month and start our work at the Imperial Alliance after a month we adapt with the life at Imperial City. So, both of you can finish any work that you need to be done here before we leaving to Imperial City next month. Shall any objection to transfer, you can tell me around this week for the headquarters to find replacement for you." Luz explained and hand out the envelop.
"I'm not dreaming, am I?" Rosa still disbelieves with the news.
"No. Headquarters want to add additional Sergeant post there because they only have one Sergeant posted there and the crime rate increasing by month from now." Luz explained again.
"Any objection?" Luz asked both of them. Both of them shake their head.
"So, for the first month we scouting there? Where do we live?" Rosa asked.
"Captain informed me that the three of us will live together in one of their bases there. So, we don't need to take any furniture with us." Luz explained.
"We are living in one quarters?" Rosa wondered.
"I don't know yet what kind of building we will be live in. But from what Captain told me that we will be living with other members of Imperial Alliance. Either from the same department or not, I still don't know yet." Luz continues to explain.
"I hope we got a good housemate." Mavi said casually. Rosa nod.
"Well, both of you can start prepare for the transfer." Luz said. Rosa thanks him and happily walk out from the office.
"Seriously, Luz. She is going with us?" Mavi said.
"It's not my decision, Mavi. If I could choose, I won't choose her." Luz said defeatedly.
"Because she still has a crush for you. Why didn't you get together with her?" Mavi teased.
"I try but I found that she isn't the one I'm looking for." Luz replied.
"You mean that she already confesses to you?" Mavi surprised. Luz nod.
"I told her the truth that she isn't the one but she still hoping. She even asking my type of woman hoping she can change herself to my ideal woman." Luz said.
"Did you tell her then?" Mavi excited.
"I don't have any preference. You should know that. You know better about me. We are childhood friend after all. So, I just keep rejecting her and tell her that there no spark between us that we are not meant for each other. But she still cannot accept the fact." Luz clarified.
"You know, when I get the promotion, I have assumption that she will be transfer with me. And my assumption is correct. I think Captain also didn't know what to do with her. He maybe knows that she will eventually force him to drop out the other candidate which will giving him a headache later." Luz added.
"So, instead of not causing the problem, he just let her be by your side. Pity on you." Mavi said.
"Yeah, pity on me the Captain's daughter have a crush on me. I just wish she found her true love there." Luz joke.
"Yeah, I also wish that too. But you never know, maybe your soulmate also waiting for you there." Mavi laughed.
"Whatever. Go do your work already. I have report to write." Luz annoyed. Mavi run out with the envelop and laughed out.
Luz shakes his head to see his friend antic. Mavi is the one he trusts the most. He knows his problem, his sadness, and his personal life. They just like brother but not by blood. Luz continues writing his report until one of his men knock on the door and bring in a file that he requested yesterday. After thanking him, he continues his writing and finish it before 5 in the evening. He stretches out for a while before his eyes catching the file beside him not long ago.
Luz opening the file that contain the information about Imperial Alliance. He studies the file about the Alliance background and the department under it. He takes more time to read on the department he will be lead after he transfer there.
"Only a Sergeant at this department? How they organize perfectly? This Sergeant really is something. After retirement of Lieutenant Topaz last two month, this Sergeant lead the members team smoothly." Luz amazed.
"Who is this amazing Sergeant?" Luz monologue.
The information of the staff department caught his eyes. He read one by one about the staff information. Two remarkable Sleuth members making him more amaze.
"Violet Amethyst… Bleu Aquamarine… This two have potential to be Sergeant. Why didn't they promote by the headquarters?" Luz wondered. He flips to the end page of the file and looking at the information of the Sergeant he is searching for.
"Sergeant Noir Esmeralda… She leads the team?! Not even Rosa can lead these many members at a time. How she does it?" Luz shocked.
