"Okay, that's just not cool at all..." Baji whispered while he, Mikey and Fuutarou were looking at some older kids bullying a kid.
"Only cowards bully someone weaker than them. Let's go teach them a lesson." Mikey whispered, eyes dead serious. Baji grinned at them.
"Rock paper scissors, whoever wins gets to beat them up." Baji suggested. Fuutarou and Mikey smirked and immediately joined in.
"Rock paper scissors shoot!!"
"Rock paper scissors shoot!!"
"Rock paper scissors shoot!!"
"Yes!" Fuutarou cheered while the other two groaned. Mikey palming his face dramatically.
"Goddammit!!"
"Lucky bastard."
Fuutarou won the game by choosing scissors while the other two chose paper. He composed himself and walked towards the bullies.
"You think you're some hero?! Jumping in to save the princess?!" One of the bullies shouted at the glasses wearing kid.
"Oh please?! You're more like the nerd who gets saved by the heroine!!"
"Hahahahahaha!!!"
" Stop right there! " Fuutarou shouted as he stood in front of the bullied kid. He was going to try diplomacy first, that's what his father always taught him.
" Eh? Who are you?"
" Do you like this guy or something? "
" W-wait! I-I know you! You're the guy who beat up my big bro!" One of the bullies pointed a shaking finger at Fuutarou.
" Oh really? Then you should know that I'm not a guy who messes around." Fuutarou grinned back. He looked back at the bullied kid and held out a hand towards him.
" Get up man. We're gonna do this together. You need to man up, now's the time. " He muttered as the kid grabbed his hand. After pulling him up, Fuutarou got a good look at him. He had black hair, average height, and blue eyes wearing square shaped glasses.
"What's your name?" Fuutarou asked him.
"Tetta Kisaki. J-just call me Kisaki. " Kisaki introduced himself while stuttering a little. Fuutarou patted Kisaki's back. "Don't mind them, they're just cowards ya know, couldn't even pick on someone their own size." He taunted, facing Kisaki who was clenching his fist in rage, not noticing that the group was enraged by his comment.
"Bastard! I'm gonna get you for that!" The leader of the group charged at Fuutarou who noticed him from his peripheral vision. 'Well, guess diplomacy didn't work.'
The blonde stepped out of the way and arrived behind him. He grabbed the bully's hands and pulled them behind his back.
"Haaa!!!" Kisaki shouted angrily and started aggressively punching the bully in his face, full of pent up rage. His repeated punches broke the guy's nose, gave him bruises and made his mouth bleed.
Fuutarou dropped him onto the ground and glanced at Kisaki who was staring at his bleeding knuckles, having punched them so hard he injured himself. For the first time ever in Kisaki's life, he felt like he could do the impossible. He felt confident.
The two other bullies tried to turn around and run away from the scene but they were stopped by Mikey and Baji. Baji grinned savagely as he beat up one of them. Mikey had a confident smirk on his face as he did a high roundhouse kick to the side of the other one's torso, knocking him down in the process.
'They're like a gang. A dangerous one at that.' Kisaki thought to himself while taking a few steps back.
"Don't worry man, we ain't no cowards who hurt those weaker than us. We're good upstanding citizens of Japan who go around helping others." Mikey grinned at Kisaki who gulped at his broad grin.
"Kisaki-kun!! "
" Huh? " Baji hummed as he looked at a coral pink haired girl running towards Kisaki's side.
"She's kinda cute, is she his girlfriend? He's one lucky guy, ain't he Mikey?" Baji asked Mikey who shrugged in response. They looked back at the girl who had a mole below her chin.
"Hinata-chan? What are you doing here?" Kisaki asked his only friend with a small blush on his face as Hinata grabbed his hands and looked at them.
" Look at you, Kisaki-kun! You're knuckles are bleeding! C'mon, let's get you some bandages." Hinata declared before looking at the trio. She bowed at them.
" Thank you so much for helping Kisaki-kun! I don't know what I would do if he got seriously hurt!" Hinata thanked them. Fuutarou nodded and smiled back at her.
" Hinata, right? You better take good care of him. Kisaki, you do the same. We probably won't be seeing you guys again so it's all up to you two from now on. Take care now, see ya!" Fuutarou waved at them before walking away. Baji grinned at Hinata.
" By the way, you two make a good couple! " Baji shouted before he was elbowed gently to the side by Mikey. His words made Kisaki and Hinata blush brightly.
"What now Mikey?! I was just telling the truth!" Baji whined as the trio started walking away from Hinata and Kisaki.
"Whatever you say, Baji. Let's go back to our spot."

"Who are they, Mikey, Baji?" Fuutarou asked the two as there were two new people joining the trio. It had been a month since they all became friends, and now it seemed that the group was about to change.
" Yo! I'm Ryūguji Ken, just called me Draken!" The tall Draken introduced himself with a confident smirk on his face. Fuutarou noticed that his head is shaved on the sides and back to expose a dragon tattoo on his left temple.
"I'm Uesugi Fuutarou. Nice to meet ya." Fuutarou greeted him with a smile as he fist bumped Draken. He looked at the other unknown person.
"I'm Hanemiya Kazutora, just call me Kazutora man. " Kazutora introduced himself with a smile on his face. Fuutarou nodded and they fist bumped each other too.
"How did you guys come to know them?" Fuutarou asked them curiously. Mikey grinned as he explained how he met Draken.
Mikey met Draken when the latter was instructed by older children to bring Mikey to them so he could get beaten up.
He took an interest in Draken and agreed to go meet the older kids. Upon meeting them, Mikey immediately executed a flying kick to the leader's face and broke several of his teeth.
He then nonchalantly invited Draken to hang out with him instead, to which the latter happily agreed.
"So violence does solve problems sometimes huh... It even helps you make friends. And how bout you Baji? How'd you meet Kazutora?" Fuutarou asked him. Baji grinned, gladly recounting his story of meeting Kazutora and befriending him.
In the arcade, Kazutora celebrated his 11th birthday with his friends. However, his friends ditch him as Baji got mad and threatened them for disrupting the arcade game he was playing.
Baji helped Kazutora realize that he was being used as a money tree by his so-called friends all along, and spent the rest of the night celebrating his birthday together.
Somehow that led them to setting a grown man's car on fire.
The next day, at dawn, Kazutora took revenge on Junpeke for using him. He forced Junpeke to hand him his earring, and Baji takes him over to his place to give him an ear piercing.
Basically, Kazutora's 11th birthday was the day he officially lost his mind. "So that's where the ear piercing came from. You're a really good friend, Baji.... in your own way. I'm glad Kazutora found you." Fuutarou complimented, making Baji blush and grin sheepishly.
"Man, don't say that. You're making me blush." Baji replied while softly punching Fuutarou's arm.
"Hey, what should we do for today? Any ideas? Cuz I'm out of them." Mikey wondered while kicking the stones on the ground with a bored expression. Kazutora raised his hand.
"There's a group of high school kids that have been harassing girls in my elementary school. I think they're still there, trying to pick up the ones who stayed back for extracurricular activities."
" Harassing girls!? Bastards couldn't even get girls in their own age group! Weaklings!! Let's go beat them up!" Mikey shouted. Fuutarou grinned as he and Mikey took the lead of the group.
" Show them why we don't do that kind of pedo stuff in our town! Let's go crush their balls!!! "
"Yeah!!! "
