Chapter 13 - More Suffering

At exactly eight o'clock in the morning,

while Rose was asleep in her bed, she suddenly opened her eyes. This time, she didn't see the nightmare. She was happy.

Rose felt a painful tingling and noticed a mark on her wrist. It was glowing, then it turned black. Its shape was strange, and Rose was surprised. Rose sat up in bed and lowered her hands, but she suddenly pulled them back, feeling an unpleasant sensation. It was a strange sensation she couldn't understand. Every time she touched something, she thought it was just fatigue, but it wasn't. Rose felt that this mark was the cause. When her mother entered Rose's room, she found her looking in surprise at her right wrist, but her mother didn't notice the mark. "What's wrong?" Rose asked. "What's the problem with your hand?" Rose was surprised and clasped her hand behind her back. "Mom, it's nothing. I think I fell asleep on my hand, and it's been tingling." "Really?" her mother replied. "So how are you feeling today?" Rose smiled and said, "I'm not having nightmares anymore," but she felt that what was coming was stronger than the nightmare. Her mother was delighted and hugged Rose, saying, "That's good, my dear. I'm so happy for you." She kissed her on the forehead and said, "Come on, let's have breakfast together." Rose replied, "Yes, Mum, I'll come." Rose put on long sleeves so they wouldn't notice the mark. Rose felt a painful sting again, but she ignored it and went to eat. Her father said, "Good morning, my daughter." Her mother said, "Rose, it's not cold now. Why are you wearing long sleeves?" Rose replied, "I'm a little cold. Don't worry about me." Rose reached out her right hand to pull up the chair, and it felt as if the chair was saying to her, "Don't pull me. Don't sit on me." Rose felt scared and quickly withdrew her hand. Her father asked, "Rose, what's wrong?" She answered anxiously, "Nothing, Dad. My hand just hurts a little." She sat down and thought to herself, "I think I'm imagining things. How can an inanimate object talk?" She touched the spoon and it seemed to say, "Don't touch me." "Don't put me in your filthy mouth!" Rose threw the spoon to the floor. Her parents were surprised by her behavior. Her mother got up and asked, "Rose, what's wrong?" Rose replied, "Mum, Dad, I don't feel like eating. I'm leaving." Rose quickly went to her room and closed the door. When she touched it, it felt as if it were saying, "Don't touch me." She felt suspicious, so she covered her ears and kept repeating fearfully, "I'm imagining things. This can't be real. I must be imagining things." Rose wanted to deny what was happening to her, but she couldn't. Because everything she touched seemed to scream, "Don't touch me. Don't touch me." Rose was terrified and realized that the nightmare she had seen, which told her she was the chosen one, meant she was chosen with a curse!!
