Reaver was now wearing Skinner's veil. Before, they could not tell what the stone faced guy was thinking. And now, he just looked more creepy!
Picture.
"Do you like it?" Eternal asked with an amused tone.
"Sufficient." The creep finally spoke. Even his tone was bland!
Seven analyzed the two curiously. The description said that these incarnations were a part of his mind, so these were his desires in a human form? Or were they just a part of his personality?
'Even though we all share the same soul, we do not share the same minds. I can't read their thoughts.'
With such distinct personalities, would they be capable of co-operation? Killing them would be impossible too, after all, all of them were immortal. Even if he harmed them, they could just heal themselves, which would diminish the souls in his soul sea.
Fortunately, they couldn't just summon themselves upon the world. Seven had control over that.
His gaze turned to the souls inhabiting his soul sea. Randomly choosing a shadow spawn and willing it to appear next to them. Immediately runes appeared in front of him.
'Huh..?'
Attributes: [Child of Shadows.]
[Absorb an Attribute?]
"Yes. For Reaver."
Immediately the attribute was transferred to Reaver, his before empty attributes now having the [Child of Shadows.]
He tried picking up more attributes for him, but unfortunately he could only absorb one of it.
As for Eternal Life, he did not find a suitable attribute for that guy.
"Something is happening outside." Reaver suddenly spoke.
His warning made Seven exit his soul sea, he looked around. But as before, he couldn't see anything.
'Summon me.'
Seven raised an eyebrow. It seems the incarnations could talk to him telepathically if they were summoned into his soul sea.
He willed for Reaver, and the creepy guy soon appeared from the darkness and gazed ahead.
"You can see what I am doing when you are in my soul sea?"
"Yes. With that attribute you gave to me, now I can also see in the dark."
"What do you see then?"
Reaver lingered for a few seconds, then replied.
"Just a black sea. Some slopes, nothing else."
At that moment, Seven heard splashing sounds in the water and some muffled screams. He focused his gaze in that direction, sensing some desperation and misery.
"What's that?"
"Hm.. a child. She is swimming in our direction."
'It is indeed a child, very young. How unlucky to be summoned into a death zone at this age!' The Eternal snorted in their minds.
The splashing sounds came closer and closer, then Reaver moved forward to the edge and snatched the young girl by the back of her neck. Lifting the child to the air like a cat.
The girl prompted to scream.
"Ahh! Put me down! I promise I taste like shit! Put me down!" She kicked and punched on the air trying to attack whatever was holding onto her. Reaver simply threw her towards the ground.
'What's wrong with this guy? Why is he so edgy? Eternal. are you sure this guy is us?'
'He is quite unflashy! Although it does not matter much.'
'I can hear you both.'
Eternal and Seven thought about other things at that moment.
"Ground? Where am I? Is there someone here?" The girl asked in a panicked tone, her breathing was fast.
"Calm yourself, you are going to hyperventilate at this point."
The girl let out a squeak as she heard his voice, crawling backwards.
"W-why can't I see?"
'Dumbass.'
'Fool.'
'Ignorant.'
The three thought at the same time.
"Because we are in the dark." Seven replied calmly, taking the initiative so Reaver doesn't say anything creepy. "My name is Seven, yours?"
"Seven.. what a weird name! My name is Ely, I am from the House of Night.."
'A legacy huh? That comment was unnecessary, don't they teach them to be more polite or something?'
"I see. I couldn't tell from your lack of manners."
"Huh...? Excuse me?"
Seven just rolled his eyes.
"Well then, Ely. Do you know where we are? Since you are a legacy and all."
The reply took a few seconds to come.
"No. I have never heard of a realm that does not have a moon or any stars. We are in an unexplored region most likely..."
She said in a gloomy tone.
'Not fully braindead then.' Eternal said.
"Sir.. did you just get transported here too?"
"No need to call me sir. And yes, I just came here too."
Suddenly, yellow sparks lighted up the surroundings slightly. Seven directly looked at it in wariness, but relaxed when he saw that the girl was just summoning an armor memory.
This helped him catch a glimpse into her appearance.
Her face carried a gentle, almost luminous softness, shaped by smooth contours and a delicate jaw that gave her an airy, youthful grace. Warm blue eyes rest beneath fine, pale brows, their color glowing like honey caught in sunlight. They were large and expressive.
Her hair is a light, radiant blonde, pale enough to catch and reflect the light like spun silk. It fell in smooth, layered locks that framed her face, with longer strands flowing down past her shoulders in gentle, tidy lines. Wispy bangs draped across her forehead, parted just enough to leave her eyes clear and bright.
The sparks dispersed as the memory was formed to existence.
"How old are you missy?"
"Huh..? I am 14."
"The spell got you young huh? We are most likely going to travel together from now on, so tell me about your abilities."
However he heard got no answers. At this moment, through telepathy Reaver shared the vision of the girl clad in white leather armor, looking quite uncomfortable at the question.
'She is most likely taught to keep her abilities a secret, or else they would be used against her. And Reaver did not give her the best impression, so she is wary of us.' Eternal spoke.
Seven knew Eternal spoke the truth, so he chose to take the initiative.
"I will go first. I have a high affinity to divinity, and one of my attributes allow me to heal a bit. I have a awakened ranked weapon and an armor. My aspect allows me to have several clones."
Ely listened intently, and finally decided to speak up.
"Um... My attributes give me affinity to depths and oceans, as well as a strong affiliation to divinity. I have some memories... the armor I am wearing. A few weapons and a bow with a quiver that has unlimited arrows as long as you don't exploit it. Oh and, I have a cup that you can fill with a lot of water. Currently, it must have a lake inside it."
'Perks of being a legacy... she most likely has the lineage of the storm goddess too.'
"And, my aspect allows me to manipulate water."
"Hm? Why were you swimming then?"
"W-what do you mean?"
"I mean, couldn't you have willed the water to support your weight?"
"I... uh.." Ely trailed off, not knowing how to answer that.
At this moment, Eternal and Seven received a vision from Reaver. He was showing them the blushing face of Ely, she was fidgeting in her place.
Seven gave the creep a side eye. Did this dude like to make people uncomfortable?

They chatted with Ely for a while before she went to sleep.
It had been many hours, and finally the signs of changes started to show themselves.
Soon, a glimpse of a pale sun could be seen rising above the horizon. And with it, the dark sea suddenly surged.
The black, opaque water suddenly surged and seethed, as though a living creature desperately trying to avoid the pale light of the coming dawn.
The sea seemed to be receding.
Slowly at first, and then faster and faster, the water level was dropping. As the sun climbed up, the monstrous ebb tide continued. Soon found himself standing on the edge of a tall cliff, with a hundred-meter drop separating him from the churning waters.
It seemed that they were on top of a slope. Quickly, he called Reaver back to his soul sea and summoned the Skinner's veil to cover his own body, unsummoning the visor and taking off the hood.
At that time, the dark surface of the water began to be punctured here and there by sharp crimson blades. As it dropped even further, it was as though a crimson forest was slowly rising from the black depths. The "trees" were made of something resembling coral, growing chaotically into each other and stretching toward the sky.
They were colossal in size, with irregular protrusions entwining and merging together, looking monumental and eerie in the black and red reality of the sunlit void.
At that time, Ely woke up and looked towards Seven who gave her a calm smile.
"Good morning."
However the next words Ely asked made a vein appear on his forehead.
"You are a girl?!"
