My husband went to the dry cleaners to pick up his work clothes.
Apparently a lousy coworker got coffee on his suit and he didn't notice til I pointed it out.
While he's gone I take out a secret book from under the floorboards in the home library.
I then quickly make a summoning circle and summon a creature of darkness.

I get home from the dry cleaners, happy to spend the weekend with my wife. And then I open the door…
I see my wife with a black lump in her lap… a black cat.
And then I look at the summoning circle made from the pink washy tape she has… and then I close the door.
"Sweetheart… what is that." I say gesturing to the cat in her lap.
"I summoned him."
"Him?! You summoned a cat that's a boy?!"
She raised an eyebrow.
"Yeah?…"
I am now jellous of a cat…
I walk over to her and wrap my arms around her from behind the couch. Resting my head on her shoulder.
"You need to stop trying to summon things… you have me already."
She looks up at me and chuckles.
"Are you jelly~" she asks teasingly.
"Tch, no." I reply, knowing very well that I am.
The cat looks up at us with its slit red eyes and speaks in a deep voice.
"I am hungry. I require sustenance."
I look down at the cat with an agape expression.
"Sweetheart…"
"Yeah?" My wife replies.
"Did you summon a demon cat?"
"He asked what form I would prefer… so I panicked and randomly said cat."
"You mortals and your feeble minds and preferences." The cat said, tail swaying lightly.
