Lynn tried to suppress the violent throbbing in his heart, yet his desire to become a Wizard only burned hotter.
The overwhelming display of power made him want to leave immediately, and now that his great revenge had been exacted, there was nothing left here worth lingering over.
Thinking of how the Blood Hand Gang had oppressed commoners for so many years, they should have accumulated no small amount of wealth. With that in mind, Lynn strode directly toward the One-Eyed Wolf's room.
A barely clothed blonde girl, who had witnessed everything through the window, was cowering in the corner, trembling from head to toe.
"Bring me all the valuable things here," Lynn ordered flatly.
As the One-Eyed Wolf's bedmate, the blonde girl should know of some of his secrets.
Now that her sole support was dead, she dared not disobey. Under her guidance, Lynn uncovered a hidden compartment beneath the floor.
Inside lay a rather heavy greatsword, a combat technique manual titled Frenzied Blade Slash, and a large wooden box.
The box contained more than a thousand gold coins, along with property deeds, land contracts, and scattered gems and jewelry. The total value was considerable, most likely enough to fund him in the Knight Academy for decades. In the Wizard World, they should have some purchasing power as well… right?
Unfortunately, none of it was easy to carry.
It was already late, and Lynn was exhausted. With no practical way to move everything at once, he decided to stay the night.
That evening, Lynn remained in the One-Eyed Wolf's luxurious bedroom. He ordered the blonde girl to prepare hot water, intending to take a long bath and wash away the dust of the mortal world.
Seeing that Lynn planned to stay, a hint of joy flickered in the blonde girl's eyes. She called Mary over to help prepare the bathwater.
By the time Lynn eased himself into the bathtub, the blonde girl had already changed into lingerie, not knowing what else to do and now wanting to be outdone, Mary selected a her own set from the wardrobe and changed into it as well.
The two swayed their hips as they approached the tub.
The blonde girl leaned against Lynn's back, her soft curves pressing against him again and again, her slender hand sliding downward along his chest. Mary lingered nearby, biting her lip as she hesitated at the edge of the tub.
Meeting their gazes, Lynn felt his little brother protesting underneath the bath water.
In the end, he forcibly suppressed the fire in his heart and drove them both out.
Still, it was only when the water in the bathtub had completely cooled did the flames in Lynn's heart finally extinguish.
Later, lying on the soft, spacious bed, Lynn activated Analysis on the Frenzied Blade Slash manual.
Before long, the analysis was complete. The movements, force application, and core principles of the technique were imprinted into his mind.
Unable to resist, Lynn grabbed the greatsword and immediately began testing it.
A burst came from his limbs as the greatsword swung rapidly through the air.
Yet the result looked no different from a child hacking wildly.
Without sufficient physical strength, without the breathing techniques, and without life energy to support it, the Frenzied Blade Slash was nothing more than an empty shell.

Early the next morning, a refreshed Lynn changed into a crisp linen shirt and wool trousers, then draped a black robe over them.
Staring at the very least above average young man in the mirror, Lynn nodded with satisfaction.
Stepping outside, he saw the skeleton soldiers still dutifully standing guard. However, under the scorching sun, they shifted into the shadows.
Lynn couldn't command them and he still needed a carriage to transport the treasures to the City Lord's Mansion.
As if by fate at that moment, the black-robed Wizard reappeared.
"We head to the City Lord's Mansion first, then we'll depart once the others arrive."
After a brief hesitation, Lynn took out the Frenzied Blade Slash manual and several of the largest gems, presenting them respectfully.
"My lord, this is a small token of my gratitude. Thank you for your assistance."
The Wizard glanced at them briefly. From beneath the black mist of his hood came a faint, almost imperceptible scoff.
"Mortal martial arts, gold, and silver are meaningless to a Wizard, no different from dust."
"Keep them for yourself to play with. But I advise you not to waste time on that combat technique. That is the path of a Knight, don't waste your talent there."
Lynn understood and put the items away.
It seemed the fortune he had painstakingly 'earned' was completely useless.
What a pity. Was all of it destined to go to waste?
As if sensing the regret in Lynn's eyes, the Wizard waved his arm, collecting both the skeleton soldiers and the large wooden box.
"Let's go."
Lynn nodded and followed, with Mary at his side.
On the way, Lynn bought a white-bread sandwich stuffed with triple bacon and three bowls of milk oatmeal.
He drank one bowl… and poured out another.
Mary, sipping her milk, looked at him in confusion.
"Lord Lynn, what are you doing?"
"Nothing," Lynn replied calmly. "Just learning how the wealthy waste."

Upon arriving at the City Lord's Mansion, the others had already gathered in the main hall, chatting quietly while occasionally glancing toward the entrance.
When Lynn appeared, everyone stepped forward to greet him.
At that moment, the City Lord approached and handed Lynn a small coin purse.
"Mr. Lynn, these are the gifts from last night. I've converted them into Magic Stones for your convenience."
"Magic Stones?" Lynn asked, puzzled.
Opening the pouch, he saw five stones resting quietly inside, each emitting a faint blue glow. He picked one up and examined it carefully, sensing the abundant energy contained within.
Is this… the Blue pill?
Sensing Lynn's confusion, the City Lord explained proactively, "Magic Stones are the common currency of the Wizard World. They can also be used to replenish Wizard Power, construct witchcraft arrays, and much more. Their applications are extremely broad."
"Oh? Wizard currency?"
Lynn's heart stirred.
It seemed Gold and silver really were worthless in the Wizard World. Though there were only five Magic Stones, their value far surpassed that of any regular mortal treasure.
In that moment, the black-robed Wizard entered the hall, clearly ready to depart.
Lynn quickly stepped forward. "Lord Silu, the box…."
The Wizard paused briefly, then waved his hand. The wooden box materialized in the center of the hall.
Lynn opened it, revealing the glittering contents inside.
"City Lord, I'd like to exchange these treasures for a few more Magic Stones, if that'll be possible of course…?"
The City Lord's plump face twitched several times.
Do I lack your scraps?!
Magic Stones did not circulate in the mortal world, nor were there any local mines. They were exceedingly rare. Those five stones alone were worth at least fifty thousand gold coins.
The nobles' so-called "small gifts" weren't even close to that value, the City Lord had personally covered the difference to for a bit of favor with Lynn.
Not only did he not seem to comprehend what he had done for him, this brat now wanted more?
This entire box of "treasures" wouldn't even be worth half a Magic Stone.
But… refusing him outright might also be problematic.
