Chapter 57 - Chapter 57: Bhargavastra & Spar

Karna's determination ignited as he understood the potential that lay before him. "I will dedicate myself to mastering Yogic Prana, Guruji. With your guidance and teachings, I hope to ascend through these ranks and wield the power of the universe."

"I know you will, Karna," Guru Parshuram said with a gentle smile. "Your spirit and dedication are admirable, and I do not doubt that you will accomplish great things on this path. I have an Astra to give you for this occasion, An Astra which I created myself."

Guru Parshuram raised his hand, and a radiant golden arrow appeared in his palm. Its brilliance, Just below the glow of Karna's Divine Bow-Vijaya. He handed the arrow to Karna, who accepted it with a sense of reverence.

"This is the Bhargavastra," Guru Parshuram said, his voice tinged with pride.

"It is an Astra infused with the essence of Yogic Prana, You are the only person who I have bestowed upon this powerful weapon. With it, you can channel the energies of the universe even more effectively and unleash its might in battle. However, remember that the Bhargavastra is not to be used lightly. It is a force of immense power and should only be employed when necessary."

"I understand, Guruji," Karna replied, holding the Bhargavastra with care. "I will use this divine weapon with wisdom and restraint, as I know that its power carries great responsibility."

Guru Parshuram nodded approvingly. "I do not doubt that you will wield it responsibly, Karna. Now, continue your training, and as you progress through the ranks of Yogic Prana, remember to remain humble and connected to the cosmic energies that flow through you."

The days turned into weeks, and Karna continued his rigorous training under Guru Parshuram's guidance. He delved deeper into the practice of Yogic Prana, immersing himself in meditation and connecting with the cosmic energies that surrounded him.

As Karna progressed through the ranks of Yogic Prana, he experienced a profound transformation. His understanding of the universe expanded, and he felt a harmonious connection with all living beings.

He could sense the ebb and flow of energy around him, and his perceptions became sharper and more attuned to the subtle movements of the world.

One day, Karna was practising the "Darkness Flame Sword Technique", A powerful sword technique that he was rewarded on the 'Triple Asura Attack' quest.

"First Form, Dark Flame!"

Karna swung his sword with precision, creating a blazing arc of darkness that tore through the air. As the dark flame sliced through its target, the ground trembled beneath the force of his attack. Guru Parshuram observed the display of power with awe, recognizing the significant progress Karna had made.

"Second Form, Rising Hell!"

Karna shifted his stance and raised his sword high above his head. With a swift motion, he brought the blade down, creating a spiralling tornado of dark flames that surged towards the training dummies. The force of the attack sent the dummies flying, leaving nothing but scorched earth in its wake.

"Third Form, Blazing Hell!"

With his training grounds now transformed into a spectacle of darkness and fire, Karna unleashed the pinnacle of the "Darkness Flame Sword Technique" without infusing yogic prana in it. The ground beneath him trembled, and the air crackled with energy as he swung his sword in a complex pattern.

The dark flames intensified, swirling around Karna like a vortex of destruction. With every swing, the dark flames intensified, devouring everything in their path.

The sheer power and intensity of Karna's attack sent shockwaves through the surroundings, leaving no doubt that he had mastered this formidable technique.

Guru Parshuram watched in amazement and pride as Karna demonstrated the full extent of his progress.

The sage knew that Karna's journey was not just about acquiring new skills and weapons but about the internal transformation that came with embracing one's destiny and connection to the divine.

"Karna," Guru Parshuram called out, "that was truly extraordinary. Your mastery of the 'Darkness Flame Sword Technique' is a testament to your dedication and hard work. It is clear that you have internalized the essence of Yogic Prana, allowing it to flow through your very being."

Karna even shared this technique and the 'Four Season Sword Technique' with his respected Gurudev, seeking Guru Parshuram's advice and insights on how to further refine these powerful sword techniques.

With his teacher's guidance, Karna honed the Four Season Sword Technique, infusing it with the principles of Yogic Prana, and achieved even greater precision and control over the elemental forces.

"Come, Karna let us have a spar with our Axe only, I always wanted to see the performance of your Axe-Rhitta."

Karna's eyes sparkled with excitement at the prospect of sparring with Guru Parshuram. He knew that his Guru was renowned for his incredible combat skills, and facing him in battle would be an incredible opportunity to test his abilities.

"Of course, Guruji," Karna replied with a nod. "I would be honoured to spar with you and showcase the power of the Divine Axe-Rhitta."

The two warriors took their positions on the training ground, and the air seemed to crackle with anticipation.

Karna gripped his Divine Axe-Rhitta tightly, feeling the comforting weight of the weapon in his hands. The golden axe glowed with a divine radiance, reflecting Karna's connection with his soul weapon.

Guru Parshuram wielded his formidable axe, a legendary weapon that had accompanied him through countless battles. The sage's eyes gleamed with a mix of amusement and seriousness as he observed Karna.

"Show me what you've got, Karna," Guru Parshuram said, his voice firm. "Let us see how far you've come."

With that, the battle began. Karna and Guru Parshuram clashed, their axes meeting in a flurry of strikes and parries. Each blow resonated with a powerful force, sending shockwaves through the training ground.

Karna's connection with the Divine Axe-Rhitta was evident in the way he seamlessly wielded the weapon, harnessing its divine power with grace and precision. He moved with a fluidity that seemed almost dance-like, anticipating Guru Parshuram's movements and countering with his own.

Guru Parshuram, in turn, displayed a level of skill and experience that was unparalleled. He matched Karna's attacks with a calm and measured response, seemingly always one step ahead. The sage's strikes carried an almost ethereal quality as if they were guided by an unseen force.

As the battle raged on, Karna found himself being pushed to his limits. He could feel the intensity of Guru Parshuram's attacks, each one testing his defences and resolve. But Karna remained focused, drawing upon his connection with Yogic Prana to bolster his strength and stamina.

With a burst of energy, Karna unleashed a powerful attack, aiming to break through Guru Parshuram's defences. But the sage countered with a swift and elegant move, redirecting the force of the strike and leaving Karna momentarily off-balance.

Guru Parshuram took advantage of the opening, launching a counter-attack with incredible speed and precision. Karna managed to raise his Divine Axe-Rhitta just in time to block the strike, but the impact sent him skidding backwards.

Impressed by Karna's resilience, Guru Parshuram grinned. "You have improved greatly, Karna. Your connection with the Divine Axe-Rhitta is formidable, and your skill with the weapon is commendable. But do not be disheartened by this setback. Remember, the path of mastery is a journey of continuous growth and learning."

Karna nodded, determination shining in his eyes. "Thank you, Guruji. I will continue to strive for improvement and push my limits."

Karna stretched his hand holding Rhitta backwards, Then he channelled all his yogic prana to the limits with divinity infused(Unknowingly) and formed a miniature sun at the tip of the axe's blade with lighting flashing on its surface.

Guru Parshuram's eyes widened in astonishment as he beheld the incredible display of power before him. The miniature sun at the tip of Karna's Divine Axe-Rhitta radiated with an intense golden glow, and the crackling lightning added an aura of electrifying energy to the weapon.

"This is... extraordinary," Guru Parshuram said in awe. "To channel the power of the sun itself through your axe, Karna, you have truly surpassed all expectations."

"Defend against this, Gurudev!"

Guru Parshuram readied himself, knowing that Karna's attack would be a force to be reckoned with. He brought his axe up, infusing it with his own divine energy, preparing to meet the tremendous power of Karna's strike head-on.

Karna swung his Divine Axe-Rhitta with fierce determination, and the miniature sun at the blade's tip hurtled forward, leaving a trail of blazing light in its wake. The ground trembled beneath the force of the attack as it headed straight for Guru Parshuram.

Guru Parshuram's eyes flashed with a resolute focus, and he met Karna's strike with his own. The clash of their axes sent shockwaves through the area, and a brilliant explosion of divine energy erupted, illuminating the sky.

As the dust settled, the training ground was left scorched and marked by the intensity of their battle. Guru Parshuram stood, his posture unwavering, while Karna looked on with a mix of astonishment and admiration.

The intensity of their spar had been unlike any other, and Karna couldn't help but feel a deep sense of gratitude towards Guru Parshuram. His Guru's guidance and teachings had led him to this point, where he could channel the power of the sun itself through his Divine Axe-Rhitta.

"You are truly a remarkable Shishya (Student), Karna," Guru Parshuram said, his voice tinged with pride. "To wield such power and yet remain humble and dedicated to your path is a rare gift. Even Bhishma my 'former' favourite Shishya (Student) was not this powerful at your age."

Karna's heart swelled with gratitude and a sense of accomplishment. To receive such praise from Guru Parshuram, a legendary figure and sixth avatar of Lord Vishnu, was a testament to his hard work and dedication.

"Thank you, Guruji," Karna replied, his voice filled with respect. "Your teachings and guidance have been invaluable to me on this journey. I owe my progress and understanding of Yogic Prana to your wisdom and patience."

Guru Parshuram smiled warmly, placing a hand on Karna's shoulder. "You have earned every bit of your progress, Karna. Your determination and humility have set you apart, and I have no doubt that you will continue to achieve great heights on your path."
