Chapter 19 - Waiting for media aftermath.

"That was hilarious! The look on their faces was priceless!" said a fish as it struggled to breath in between its constant fit of laughter.

"Hmm... to bad no one still has any wishes. What is with this world? They all seem so realistic and speak little about hopes and dreams." the fish continued.

"Sigh... might as well start looking for a new world."

At this point, the fish flew through the air. Faster than a jet back to where it first appeared. When it finally did, the fish turned its head to look back at the world and thought about something.

"Wait, before I go... I should chill here for moment and see the news of my actions. I bet it will be hilarious to read what answers they come up with." the fish said in growing excitement.

"Okay! That does it! I will stick around for one month and see the fallout. The news should be entertaining, but where should I go to get the news?"

The fish thought long and hard about this until eventually a simple idea came to him.

"Who cares, I can just use my magic to bring all the newspapers or other forms of media to me."

After this, the fish slowly landed on the ground above the entry point to this world.

Waiting in excitement.

Meanwhile.

The wizards and witches of the tower and those that came to attend thoroughly 'erased' everything that happened here.

Everbright and his tower as well were not spared.

Only the lucky few apprentices and wizards not in attendance because of being too far away were 'spared' from this.

"I can't believe I came here because I felt the ice cream here was the best. What was I thinking?" said a witch who had a lot of ice magic circling around her.

"You too? I had the same feeling that my fire grill could get some better materials from here." said another witch who sported a bunch of mini flames around her.

"At least yours sound a bit more reasonable, I don't know why I would think some random apprentices' socks would bring good luck." said a wizard with a miserable look on his face.

"At least you are not that guy over there who came here because he felt the toilets were better here." said a witch with a third eye on her forehead that glowed pink.

"True, mine was luckily nothing at all. I received an invitation and just accepted it on a whim." said a wizard with a sword strapped to his waist.

"You too?" said a witch who joined into the conversation.

"Yeah, you as well?" said the sword wizard.

"Yeah, apparently a lot of people had these similar situations happen to them." the witch said before talking again about what she and others have found.

"Did you notice? Either you accepted the invitation on a whim, or you will find a random reason in your mind to come here. This is by far a very unusual circumstance. Wish we could pry into his brain to find out just how he did this, but Everbright was incinerated by multiple spells out of impulsive anger before we could stop and think about capturing him."

The witch with a third eye joined in.

"It's okay, we will find the answers eventually. But the more pressing matter is how are we going to save our reputations. This catastrophe is probably being printed all around the wizarding world by now by those reporters."

"We are just going to have to take it one step at a time." responded a wizard who looked a bit worried.
