The evening was dark, and the wind almost swept through the corn and wheat fields.
Enrio knocked on Sato's door.
Sato opened the door.
He was yawning, exhaustion clear on his face. He looked into Enrio's eyes with surprise and said:
"Why did you come now? You should be sleeping early, just as I told you."
Enrio stared deeply into Sato's eyes, his gaze filled with seriousness, and said:
"I want to tell you something very important about me… about my eyes."
Sato replied, confused:
"What are you talking about? What's wrong with your eyes?"
Enrio lowered his gaze, his eyes filled with sadness:
"You are the second person who knows this. When I was kicked out of my house in broad daylight, my eyes were glowing with a green light."
Sato looked around nervously and said:
"Come inside the cabin now. Quickly!"
Sato continued:
"Were your eyes formed of a small circle surrounded by a larger one, both green?"
Enrio looked at him with confusion on his face:
"Can you explain more clearly?"
Sato said:
"Were there two circles in both of your eyes, light green in color, and glowing?"
Enrio replied:
"There was no mirror at that time to see clearly, but I saw my eyes reflected in a puddle, shining with the colors you described."
Sato stared at Enrio in shock:
"This is good. The green color is one of the rarest colors."
Enrio looked at his hands in shock and said:
"What? How? And what does that mean?"
Sato laughed softly:
"Calm down, calm down. I'll explain everything I know.
Your eyes were using a technique called the Reza Eyes.
Their color is the opposite of your Reza's color.
For example, if your eyes are glowing light green, then your Reza is dark green and not glowing.
But tell me… who was the first person to notice your eyes?"
Enrio looked down sadly and said:
"It was six in the morning. I met someone on the road. He looked into my eyes in pure terror and shouted:
'The chosen one… he is the chosen one!'
Then he ran away."
Sato froze in deadly shock:
"That's dangerous! I will take care of this matter.
But it's impossible for you to be the chosen one."
Enrio looked down with a faint smile:
"That doesn't matter to me."
Sato asked:
"What exactly doesn't matter?"
Enrio raised his head and looked into Sato's eyes with a hidden gaze:
"Whether I am the chosen one or not,
whether I am the awaited one or not."
Sato rubbed his head with a light smile:
"The matter of the chosen one is far more complicated than you think.
But anyway, I will explain everything to you when you grow up.
Now go, boy. You need to sleep."
"Yes, sir!" Enrio replied.
Enrio walked through the corn and wheat fields toward his cabin in the south of the farm.
He looked up at the sky as the strong winds blew.
He whispered:
"I pretended that I didn't care… but now my heart is broken.
I thought I was the chosen one.
Even if it was frightening to some people, it would have been worth it to be important in this life… to have value.
But I am neither the awaited one nor the chosen one."
When Enrio reached the cabin, he collapsed onto the bed and fell asleep from physical and mental exhaustion.
Early the next morning, Chingi opened the windows and looked at the sky.
"Today will be our first real training.
I'm excited!
Wake up, Enrio! It's our first training day. Aren't you excited like me?"
Enrio woke up with a wide smile and said:
"Yes… even more than you."
They organized their room, ate their meal in silence as usual, then ran toward Sato as if racing each other.
Sato smiled lightly and said:
"Well then, are you ready?"
Chingi jumped excitedly:
"Yes! Extremely excited!"
Sato said:
"Today we will begin with physical training.
Run 100 meters, 30 times.
Start now—no complaints."
They began running with enthusiasm.
The only obstacle was running through the wheat fields, which made it much harder.
Enrio ran while exhausted and said:
"We're on the fifteenth run. Let's go ask Sato for a short break, then continue."
Chingi replied:
"That's a good idea. Let's go."
Enrio said respectfully:
"Excuse me, coach. Can we take a short break and then continue?"
Sato replied:
"There will be no return.
You have finished the training.
I was only testing your physical strength and endurance.
Now… prepare to fight me."
Without any delay, they moved to an open area near the fields.
Sato looked into their eyes with excitement and said:
"Now, I will reveal my Reza and my fighting style."
