Tyler POV
As we went out the kitchen, the whole crew was laughing and singing and drinking booze. Captain Aveola said, " Well done mates, we got a lotta bounty from that village, and those devil fruits? They're gonna get us so much money!!"
I was suddenly struck with horror. We're those fruits we ate… some priceless artifacts? If the crew found out, we'd be in big trouble. I needed to hide the evidence, but at the moment we needed to stay innocent.
"Those devil fruits will make us the richest pirates on the sea! Shishishishishi!"
Then Junior muttered, a little more loudly than I expected, "You won't be rich when I'm an admiral and I drag you to the World Government in shackles".
Unfortunately, a crew member was close and in a one second glance I spotted a grin on his face as he moved towards the captain.
I pulled Junior away and whispered, " I think that guy heard you, Junior. I feel like we should leave before they—"
I turned back and saw Aveola and all of her crew behind us. Aveola growls, "So you plan to end me, eh? We'll see whose lives will end today. Hehehe…"

Tyler POV
"RUN!!!" I yelled.
Junior and I started to run towards the ship's hull. The crew was after us. Then we dashed to the starboard. Didn't lose 'em.
Then we started to run belowdecks. We could hide in one of the rooms and lock them. We had spare keys on us, in case the escape plan failed. We ran belowdecks to my cabin. We rushed in and locked the door.
I was sweating and panting. "What do we do now?" I said, panicked. Then I saw Junior pulling out two slingshots from under my bed. Before I could even say anything, he muttered, "Just in case". He threw one to me and handed me a bag full of stones.
The pirates started to break down the door.
THUMP!

The door broke open and I immediately fired a stone. It sunk into a pirate's forehead and he dropped to the ground. Aveola growled and brought a flintlock. She shot, and Junior dashed in front of me to take the shot.
"JUNIOR, NO!!" I cried. But the bullet bounced off him and sparks of light appeared on his torso for a split second. "Huh?" Junior said.
Then Aveola howled and shrieked, saying, "You darn bastards! You ate my Devil Fruits!! You will pay dearly for this!!" All her men rushed forward; Junior grabbed me and we headed for the window. Just then, Junior turned into a ray of light and flew out the window. I grasped its end desperately, trying not to fall.
( I know it defies the laws of physics but there u go…)
The last thing I heard from Aveola was, "One day I will get my revenge!!!"

After about 15 minutes of light flight we landed on a random island. After looking at the buildings closely I realized it was a navy base island. Junior was lying on the shore, deeply unconscious. I scooped up some seawater and dumped it on his face. He immediately woke up looking dazed.
"D-did we escape? Did we win?" he muttered, then started to cough. "Easy, Junior. Easy." I said. We stayed on the shore for some time, caught some fish with a rusty harpoon I found, cooked them on a fire I made from wood scraps and ate them. Once we had enough rest and energy, we started to go deeper into the island.
A marine soldier saw us and shouted, " Intruders on the island! Take them to the captain!" They rushed over, cuffed us and started to send us towards the biggest building on the island, which I immediately knew was the navy headquarters.
