"Now then," Kalego addressed the class. "lets begin your rank evaluations."
"The rank owl has been observing every single one of you." As he said this, the owl he spoke of flew to his shoulder. "If you put your hand inside its pouch-"
He put his free hand into the pouch of the 3-eyed bird and took out a rank insignia-his rank.
"It will award you your rank badge."
"Alright, everyone line up!" He yelled to the class.
"Yessir!" The students replied in a sarcastic way but still did so before Kalego's deadly gaze landed on two students inside a tiny fence area and signs hanging from their necks.
"By the way." He glared at Iruma and Sabnock. "You two numbskulls will go last."
"That should show you." Kalego gave a smug smile. "Enjoy everyone laugh and throw rocks at you."
"How humiliating..." Sabnock grumbled to himself.
"Well... at least we weren't expelled." Iruma looked to the bright side. "Since the guardian was kind enough to brind us all the way here..."
"The looks on everyone's faces was a sight." Sabnock nodded. "I couldn't have done that on my own."
"Get over here already!" Kalego shouted to get Pandora's attention.
As much as Pandora wanted to listen to their bonding, it was her turn to get her rank.
"Ok." She reached in the pouch and the bird was sweating bullets, but it didn't run away thankfully.
Upon taking her hand out, the bird immediately flew to Kalego, but Pandora didn't care about that and looked to what was in her hand.
"???" In her hand was a USB drive with a demon rank on it-"Daleth. I got Daleth." She said aloud to that class.
"..." Kalego looked back and forth from the USB to her before pointing to it. "Why is it like that?"
Pandora didn't say anything, but rather moved the loose hair away from the back of her neck and inserted the USB into the inconspicuous slot...
It took three tries before it went in, however upon doing so the USB dissolved into flames and her rank appeared on her chest, above where her "heart" is.
"..." Kalego decided to not comment on what he saw and called todays trouble makers-
"HEY! It's your turn now you little shits!" He yelled, stopping their conversation.
Iruma went after Sabnock and the class began betting-
"Maybe he'll pull out something weird again."
"Ahhh, like familiar sensei?"
"Hey. I'll kill you." He heard them.
"The owl's rank is solemn and true." He sighed. "It won't be swayed, no matter what."
"KREEEEEE!!!" The class looked to what caused the cry... it was Iruma.
"Huh- wai-!" Iruma stuggled with his hand in the pouch.
"KYAH KYAH!!!" The bird flew off.
"AH! I haven't gotten my badge yet!" He yelled out to the brid, his hand still in the air, but with a new accessory.
"... Iruma-chi... what's that?" Clara asked, pointing to the ominous gold ring on his middle finger.
"A ring? that's kind of..." One student was confused.
"It. won't. come. off!" Iruma struggled with the ring before turning to his classmates. "Hey... um, about this-"
They backed away each time he took a step closer.
"Ah, um..." He looked like he was about to cry before Pandora pointed behind him.
"You have a creepy thing on your shoulder."
"Huh?" He turned mechanically.
"HAAAAHHH! WH-WHAT IS THIS!?" He began waving the hand with rind that the creature was attached to.
"Iruma-sama, calm down and remove the ring!" Asmodeus called out.
"It's coming from the ring! Hurry and cut it off!" Iruma waved the ring to Kalego.
"STOP WAVING IT AROUND!" Kalego is not having a good day.
"GUOOOO!" The shadow screeched.
"That scream sounds like death incarnate- degozaru!" A hairy student held their ears.
"..." Pandora's right eye had a mute symble in her right eye, having turned on mute for her ears.
"MY EARS HURT!" Another student complained.
"Everyone! Are you guys ok!?" Iruma asked, unaffected by the screech.
"Iruma, you're not in pain!?" A sparky student asked.
"W-well yeah." It was as if he didn't hear anything at all.
"Then hurry up and cover it!"
"Ah-right!" He cradled the beast like a baby. "Like this?" He asked seriously.
"WE MEANT COVER IT'S MOUTH!"
"Rock-a-bye baby~" Clara began singing.
"DON'T ADD FUEL TO THE FIRE!" However it somehow worked as the shadow calmed down.
"Do you think it'll eat nori!?"
"Take some snacks!"
"Let me take a picture!"
"STOP MESSING AROUND YOU IDIOTS!" Kalego yelled.
"Alright then, leave it to me!" Sabnock strutted forward.
"Don't, it's dangerous." Iruma tried to warn him.
"Don't worry my dear rival." He had a smug expression. "I can easily uproot this little black-"
*Bop*
"SABNOCK KUN!?"
Sabnock has fallen to the beast.
"What are you doing you idiot?" Asmodeus strode forward, emanating confidence. "Do not fret Iruma-sama, for I am-"
*Chomp*
"DEJAVU!?"
Asmodeus has also fallen to the beast!
"I am completely fine, Iruma-sama..." Despite saying this, blood was flowing from his mouth. "I have a feeling my magical energy has been drained."
"!" Kalego took notice.
"This amout of pain. This amount of irritation... is nothing to me." He was currently being nibbled on by the shadow and profusely bleeding.
"YOU'RE OBVIOUSLY SUFFERING BADLY, AZU-KUN!"
"Hey Iruma, let me see that..." He turned Iruma around to face him before going still, terrified.
"Sensei? Are you ok?" Iruma asked as he rubbed his hand before pulling his hand above his head in preparation to attack-
"Tsk tsk." A new person arrived. "You can't do that~!"

"PRINCIPAL!""GRANDPA!" Kalego and Iruma yelled in unison.
"Hai~ Grandpa has arrived~!" Sulivan waved to Iruma joyfully.
