The next day...
"Congratulations for graduating, Araragi. Next time we'll meet, I'll let you build my house HAHAHAHA." I said with a hearty laugh to Araragi Ishida, my friend.
"C'mon, we're not even in college yet and you're manifesting already on me becoming a Civil Engineer? I hope you don't jinx it..." Ishida said while shivering due to some mysterious force.
I laughed again at his antics.
After walking near the gate, he slung his arm in my shoulder.
"But seriously, being a trainer to Umamusume huh? I sure hope you don't seduce a young maiden at Tracen and leave with you pelvis shattered! HAHAHHAHAHA! I can only imagine your state. Pfft... HAHAHAHA!" Araragi said while struggling not to laugh.
"Hey are there no 'Goodluck with your endeavors' or 'I hope your dreams come true'? Jeez, if you need any help in the future, I'll totally ignore you." I said with a 'stern' face trying to sound serious.
"Yeah, if I said that it'll sound totally fake and besides... It's be good to have these memories in highschool that we can talk about in the future." He said with a sigh looking up at the sky reminiscing.
"Yeah I can't believe it, 4 years came by like a flash." I said with a resigned sigh...
"Anyways" I began and looked back at Araragi. "I hope you succeed Araragi or else I'll beat you up."
"HAHAHAHA! Don't you know who I am? I am the immortal genius demon king who cultivated over 4 million years! Do you think trivial matters like these will be a challenge for me? I am Araragi Ishida." He pointed at the sky. "The one who'll rule the heavens and earth in the future!" He shouted like a Chuunibyou in the school gate which drew a ton of attention.
I began to distance myself to him.
"H-hey, why are you distancing yourself from me? Where's your 'I am the king of heroes! Mongrel activities like these isn't even worth the attention of this king'?"
I still continued to distance myself.
"Hey Minami, why aren't you saying anything? Am i muted?" He asked with 'genuine' confusion.
I looked at him with an expression of disgust and said "I don't know you, get away from me weirdo!" While I frantically ran away from him.
"Hey my FRIEND! Come here!" He shouted, emphasizing the word 'friend'.
"GET... HAH... AWAY FROM ME!" I shouted while running away, frantically trying to draw in air.
We came at an abrupt stop near the parking lot and we panted like crazy.
"Hah... How weak... You're trying to be a trainer with that much of stamina? Your practically wishing for a death sentence..." Araragi said while panting between words.
"Hah... Don't... Hah... Judge me." I said with difficulty.
After collecting ourselves, Araragi began to laugh uncontrollably. After laughing for 10 seconds, he stopped.
He then extended his knuckle to me in a fist bump.
"Good luck idiot, hope you succeed."
I looked at him for a second before smiling and bumping my fist to his.
"Heh. Your seriously under estimating me."
Before long, he began to walk towards the opposite direction.
"Hey, if you can hook me up with those Uma Musume at Tracen." He said while his hands is gesturing 'Goodbye' at me.
"Heh, you bet I will..." I murmured.
Araragi is a good man, I really hope he wins in life.
Just as i was looking at his departing figure someone pulled the hem of my long sleeved shirt.
"Hey Minami-oniisan..."
I looked down and saw Luna looking at me with those big, teary eyes.
I took her hands.
"Let's go meet your Auntie Wakari." I said with a smile.
"Mhm..." She said solemnly.
We began walking towards my mom's car. Before long I saw her.
"Minami congrats on graduating." My mom said smiling, looking at me while seemingly reminiscing something.
I smiled and hugged her, she kissed my cheeks and fixed my crooked tie.
"You have grown to be a fine man Minami... I knew it the day you were born. You were a clear cut Genius and above the rest of your peers and yet you still maintained being humble. And when I saw you helping Luna, it only cemented that fact..." She finished fixing my tie and look at me.
"Son, I am proud of you. I am glad that you have come to my life and I hope to let you know this fact..."
I looked at my mom, my eyes getting misty but I recalled my tears who is about to fall and smiled at her.
"You were a wonderful mom, Mom..."
She hugged me again before letting go and looking at Luna.
"What are you spacing out for Luna? C'mere!"
"H-huh? M-me?" She pointed at herself
"Who else is the Luna here? Some and join us!" My mom urged.
So, in the parking lot the three of us is hugging each other trying to savor this feeling like it'll be gone tomorrow, which will be.
Afterwards we came home where we ate the feast my mom cooked, before long I am walking at the road with Luna. Walking her home.
While walking, we arrived at the park that we first met. She ran towards the swing while I followed her.
She stopped near the swing and looked at me. "Hey, you'll never forget about me right."
I smiled at her.
"Of course."
"Are you sure"
"How could I even forget Luna."
"I think your lying."
She is looking at me with a teary eyes.
"There are millions of impressive people in the world, surely you'll meet one of them. And then you'll meet your fated one..." She stopped, trying to let her words sink in.
I stayed silent to let her finish.
I then heard faint sobs coming from her.
"...and then, you'll forget me... In everything in the world. I am most scared about you forgetting about me Minami *sniff*."
She ran at me and began to cry, damping my shirt with her tears.
"You bought light to my world Minami so please... Don't forget about me in America..."
I looked at her, and sighed. I began to talk about something from the deepest part of my life.
"When I was a little kid, I was introverted."
She stopped crying and looked at me.
"I felt detached from everything except for my parents. I felt, I guess not me..?"
"I felt like I am indebt with everything, so I tried my bestest to try and repay everyone and everything, especially my mom who took great care for me." This is my burden as a transmigrator.
"But inside, I felt like a machine just grinding effort to prove some non existent expectation to the world... I know, it sounds idiotic, but please bear with me."
"So when I saw you, I felt the urge to help you to prove something."
Her eyes dimmed from the revelation and began to cry again.
"Don't cry Luna, I haven't even finished my story telling."
I wiped Luna's tears with my hands and smiled softly at her. After that I looked at full moon illuminating the sky.
"After that, you spent 2 days at our house. Remember that? You even ate 40 bowls of Miso soup at that time."
She didn't say anything.
"But after hearing your story, the expectations for your family. The rigid family tradition and everything, I felt like an idiot. Why was I even trying to prove something to the world?"
"I was just burdening myself. I am nothing compared to Symboli Rudolf here."
"After that, I felt depressed... Have you ever found out that the training you have done has done nothing to improve or infact didn't do shit to you?"
"Well I kinda felt like that, just felt worse. Jeez, just thinking about it, I kinda feel like vomiting..."
"..." Luna was silent.
"But I guess it all changed while you spent 2 days with us."
"I didn't know how it happened but it just went 'poof' and I realized it."
"Despite having the burden of your entire household, you still manage to hold strong and be happy. I seriously admired that back then."
"Just you being by my side, I felt my world being noticably warm."
"Which ironic considering your a Luna. Get it? Hahaha..."
I heard a 'pfft' sound but only briefly which caused me to just brush it off.
"So I just decided to man up. I found my purpose and I became, me..."
"And Luna, you were an indispensable part of my change. And you'll forever be one of the most important people of my life."
"So please don't sell yourself short, because I will never ever forget about you. That dazzling smile of yours, your cool domineering demeanor and that cold unapproachable aura. I have emprinted it into every fiber of my being."
"So Luna..."
She suddenly jumped and hugged my neck
"Uwaghhh... Minami..." She cried incessantly in me for 10 minutes.
After that, we continued to walk towards her home.
Before long we arrived but just before clicking the doorbell.
"Minami... Thank you for being honest with me this evening and..."
"Thank you for meeting me that night."
She smiled brighter than the moon.
I smirked.
"Thank you for also meeting me that night."
She chuckled a bit and then hugged me for one last time.
She sniffed at me while hugging.
"We'll meet again right?" She asked.
"Yeah. At Tracen Academy hopefully."
She stopped hugging me and distanced herself from me.
She then extended her right hand.
"See you at Tracen Academy then, Minami."
.
The next day, I left for America.

A/N Note:
Whew... Damn. Sorry I was busy with our Capstone research, Jesus Christ...
Is the heart to heart talk with Rudolf and Minami alright? I just came with it while on the fly.
Anyways, the backstory of the MC is vaguely inspired of the one Shirou Emiya has. But I tweaked a lot of it that it kinda is unrecognizable.
Anyways, the update will be affected due to our research so expect long updates.
