Aavya's POV
The moment our moms called us from downstairs, both of us went down together.
Arnav's mom was about to leave, so she called him too, saying they should go home together.
Soon, they left.
After the door closed, I made Mom sit on the sofa and crossed my arms.
"Mum… what was all that?" I asked.
"He didn't even know that he came here for a rishta."
Mom looked calm, almost too calm.
"Aavu, I already told you. My best friend was just coming to meet me."
"Then why did you send Arnav and me together? Alone?" I asked.
She smiled softly.
"So that your aunty and I could talk peacefully."
I stared at her.
"Seriously?"
"Yes, cutie," she nodded.
I sighed.
"Okay, fine. I'm going now. And I'll be live streaming tonight, so please don't disturb me, okay?"
She laughed.
"Okay, Aavu."
Arnav's POV
While driving, I finally asked,
"Mum, honestly tell me… why did we go there?"
She kept driving.
"I already told you. We went to my best friend's house."
"Then why did you send me and that girl together? Alone?" I asked.
She glanced at me.
"So you both could talk. Why? Did someone say something to you?"
"No," I replied quickly.
"I was just asking. Leave it."
She hummed.
"Hmm."
Aavya's POV
Before starting my live stream, I shouted from my room,
"Mum! I'm starting the live, okay?"
"Yes, okay, Aavu," she replied.
I put on my headset and connected to voice chat.
There were already familiar voices.
Tonic Gaming — my go-to bhai, calm, helpful, always fixing chaos.
Smith Gaming — also a bhai, funny, loud, and always arguing about games.
And Mr. X Gaming — my friend, annoying, dramatic, and always teasing.
"Ready, guys?" I asked.
Smith Gaming:
"Yeah, ready. So… what are we playing today?"
Tonic Gaming:
"Tell fast, Bunny."
I laughed.
"No idea. Let's start the live first and then decide."
Everyone agreed.
I went live.
"Hi guys! Sorry I couldn't do a proper live in the morning, so I'm here now. Tell me fast—what should we play?"
Mr. X Gaming:
"Minecraft."
Smith Gaming:
"No, Among Us."
Tonic Gaming:
"FF."
I rolled my eyes.
"If you all had so many demands, you should've told me earlier. Now chat will decide."
Mr. X Gaming:
"Then let's put a poll."
"Good idea," I said, and instantly added a poll.
Minecraft won.
Mr. X Gaming:
"Hehe, I won."
I laughed.
"You always win in everything."
Mr. X Gaming:
"Wish I could win against my mom too."
I smiled knowingly.
"Winning against mom is impossible. Her decision is always final."
Mr. X Gaming:
"True."
"Okay, let's start the game. By the way, Mr. X, why didn't you come to the morning stream?"
He replied casually,
"I had some work. Mom suddenly asked me to go out. But I was watching the live."
"Ohh, okay," I said.
Just then, a superchat popped up.
BunnyLover_07:
"The boy's voice in the morning stream… why did it sound like Mr. X Gaming? Coincidence?"
I read it aloud and replied quickly,
"Guys, that's not true. You don't even know where that boy lives, and—"
Before I could finish—
Mr. X Gaming:
"Bunny, I made something for you. Want to see?"
"Why not?" I said.
Chat exploded.
CutePixel:
"Omg, is this romantic??"
NewSub_118:
"Wait… are they a couple?"
OldViewer:
"Nah, this is normal Bunny–Mr.X drama."
Mr. X took me near a small dog house in the game.
"Here. This is your house. Cute, right?"
I stared at it.
"Seriously? I shouldn't expect anything romantic from you."
I pulled out my sword and started attacking him.
"I won't spare you today!"
He started running.
"You won't be able to kill me, and if I do, you'll start crying."
"Tonic bhai," I said,
"Hold him. I need to hit him."
Tonic switched him to visitor mode and trapped him in a single block.
"Done, behna," Tonic said.
"Thanks, bro."
Mr. X Gaming:
"This is unfair! You both are teaming up!"
"Now tell me," I said, hitting him again,
"Will you disturb me again or stay locked here forever?"
"Stay locked," he replied dramatically.
"Perfect," I said.
"I'm leaving then."
Chat was laughing non-stop.
ShipItNow:
"They fight like a married couple 😂"
NewSub_902:
"I just joined… what is going on?"
Finally, Mr. X sighed.
"Okay, madam. Sorry. I won't do it again."
"Good," I said.
"Now you're behaving."
Under his breath, he muttered,
"Next time, I'll do something even bigger."
"Did you say something?" I asked.
"No," he replied quickly.
The live continued like that—chaos, laughs, nonsense.
Eventually, I ended the stream.
"Mum, my live is over."
From downstairs, she replied,
"Okay. Come down, I need to talk to you."
And that's where the chapter ends.
