" Clay?" Viona asked with confusion. He nodded. " We going to make clay buckets, I can teach you if don't know how"
" We know." She replied " Great, then let begin." She stopped him, " You might've brought the wrong people, it's usually the woman who made these while the men hunted for food so they don't know how to make them as well as the women do."
He nodded, " I guess that makes sense, you humans did like to separate roles by your genitals."
" We humans?" She repeated with a questioning voice. He looked at her. ' Lying now would be hard, guess I'll just tell her a half truth.'
" I might've forgotten to mention but I'm not a human, there's no name for what I am but I'm a creation of the God of dreams made to serve him.
By the way, I don't age so don't be surprised." To be honest he wasn't certain if that was even a lie.
He knew he wasn't created by the lord of dreams as that is him but he wasn't certain if his body was created by one of his siblings for whatever purpose.
One thing he didn't lie about though was aging, while Gods can die in a mortals body, they can't die of natural causes like age or sickness unless the sickness was caused by another.
In which case it will not longer be natural. She looked at him with wide eyes. " You don't age?" He nodded. " How old are you?"
She sounded excited asking that. He shrugged "Who knows, I can't remember anything after the great war until yesterday."
She nodded but she looked disappointed. " Should I call the women?" He shook his head. " No need."
While they were talking he was molding a massive bucket like structure. Then he created flames and dried it.
Using it he collected clay and poured a bit of water inside to prevent it from drying. Then using all of his strength he carried the bucket as tall as him.
This thing weighed around 2.4 tons, iron clay was really heavy. Had he not used divine energy to enhance himself, there was no way he could've carried this.
They walked back and by the time they reached the others he was already sweating and panting.
He placed down the clay bucket and told them what they needed to do. The women started working creating buckets.
After they were done he made a bon fire to dry them, before long the metre tall clay buckets were dry and had hardened.
They were heavy, this type of clay was really not suitable for creating house hold appliances like pots even though it was durable.
Then he pretended to pray and small sharp knives appeared out of thin air. He felt a pang with the amount of divine energy he had just lost.
He decided not to do this often, if he was going to help them progress he would need to provide very little assistance.
Then he and the other men alongside Viona started skinning the clickers. He warned those with wounds to not let the blood touch their wounded places or any opening that might lead to their blood stream.
Khali realised he wouldn't be able to drain all the blood without hanging these things but there was no place to hang them.
So he did the best he could think of, he cut their veins letting their corpses bleed out but they had been dead for a while.
Their hearts had longed stopped pumping blood, even after he cut the veins barely any blood came out.
He sighed, ' This will be longer than expected.' he was forced to forcefully drain out the blood from the corpses.
He cut them into pieces then placed those pieces over the fire. Clickers blood was very flammable and evaporated when it met flames.
Flames entered through the small cuts he made all over the meat pieces. Within seconds the meat turned from grey to white like chicken.
The people watched with fascination then one men picked up another piece and copied him.
The others joined and before long they had over a ton of meat, more than enough for the people here.
However he wasn't done, preparing it will take another step. He sent the stronger men to fetch water from the dam below.
They came back with buckets full of water. They poured the water into the large bucket he made until it was full.
Then he put the meat inside and placed it over the fire and let it boil. After that he went towards the river.
In less than 40 minutes he came back with another massive bucket of clay filled with iron clay.
This bucket appeared to be even heavier than the last one. They wondered if he wanted them to build more buckets.
" Take those buckets and follow me." He told all of them. They followed him still confused, even Viona had no idea what was happening.
He made them fetch more clay, they took multiple trips and were done in less than three hours.
By his estimate they had about another 5 to 6 hours before nightfall, they had to work quickly.
He drew a shape on the ground. " This is what we're going to build." They all came closer to see what it was, they were confused.
" What is it?" Lucy asked. " A door." He replied plainly. " This doesn't look like a door." Chimed Viona.
" Oh I SEE!" Exclaimed Lucy. They all turned towards her. "It designed to match the cave entrance which is why it's cylindrical.
It's not perfect but that's easily fixable, the wheels are to push it to close and pull to open.
Unfortunately it can't be the other way around or it would be even harder for those these things to open it.
To combat that you made the back wheels retractable and this, I suppose this is to anchor it to the ground. This is absolutely genius."
She continued ranting with everybody just looking at her. Khali just grinned, appreciating the compliments.
