Chapter 15 – I Am Going to Win
{Scene shifts to Kael and Yura inside the Hunter High School}
Kael sighed, the weight of countless battles in his eyes.
"I see… so that's what happened."
Yura nodded, curiosity flickering across his face.
"Yeah… but, Kael… what is this Neraxis the world keeps talking about?"
Kael's lips curved into a faint, confident smile.
"Neraxis… is an almost-mythical god. A being feared for centuries. He rules over witches, and those who serve the witches are called cultists."
He leaned forward slightly, voice calm but heavy with history.
"Back in the Golden Age of the Vital World, we stood at the brink of chaos. Neraxis could never be defeated… even when all the Hunters combined their might."
Yura tilted his head, eyes wide.
"So… what happened then?"
Kael's expression darkened, a flicker of nostalgia passing over his face.
"The Creator of the world—Starking—finally killed Neraxis. But even in death, his power didn't vanish. It was split into thirteen Hex Fruits."
He extended his hand, revealing one glowing Hex Fruit, its aura pulsating softly.
"Look at this. It cannot be destroyed. If Neraxis ever consumes all thirteen Hex Fruits, he will regain his full power. That is why we must defeat him before that day comes."
Yura swallowed, feeling the weight of the situation.
"So… would you all lose?"
Kael chuckled, a calm yet intimidating sound, as if he had already seen the outcome.
"If Neraxis regained all his power… maybe he could cause me some trouble."
Yura frowned.
"So… we can't win?"
Kael's smile widened, eyes gleaming with unshakable confidence.
"Nope."
He let the words hang in the air.
"I'm going to win."
