Yura slammed his Vital Force–coated fists against the training wall inside the school, each strike controlled yet heavy. Cracks spread faintly across the surface as red energy pulsed around his knuckles.
Sweat ran down his face. His breathing was steady—but intense.
The Principal approached and spoke calmly,
"Do you know about Vital Techniques?"
Yura stopped and turned. "No."
The Principal folded his hands behind his back and continued,
"Vital Techniques are abilities almost every individual is born with. Unique. Personal."
Yura listened carefully.
"I've been observing you," the Principal said. "It seems you possess a technique known as Absolute Motion."
Yura's eyes narrowed. "What's that?"
"It's a technique that enhances power, endurance, stamina, and speed," the Principal explained.
"But only through constant movement."
He paused, then added,
"Improve your footwork. Your counters. Your speed. Never stop moving."
With that, the Principal turned and left.
Yura looked down at his hands as sunlight streamed through the windows, grazing his face.
He clenched his fists.
Yeah…
I'll get stronger.
{Suraen – Residential Area}
The streets were quiet.
Too quiet.
Then—
Vital spirits emerged out of nowhere.
Screams tore through the air as chaos erupted. A woman cried out in unbearable pain as a spirit ripped her arms apart, blood splattering across the ground. Her scream echoed before cutting short.
Elders fell.
Children were left behind.
People ran in blind panic, trampling over debris and bodies.
The air reeked of blood and fear.
At the center of it all stood the Witch of Envy – Lily.
Her dark purple aura flared violently, warping the air around her.
Suddenly—
The Grade B cultists surrounding her began bleeding from their eyes and noses. They collapsed one by one, choking, trembling.
Lily's eyes widened. Her lips trembled into a smile of awe.
She whispered softly, almost reverently,
"…He's coming."
Her voice shook.
"Kael Draven… is coming…"
