The chain scythe extended like a shooting star, its blade slashing across the wraith. Physical damage was negated, but the flames burned it, inflicting burn.
Its regeneration completely stopped due to Heal Ban, and it now lost 1% of its max health per second.

On the other hand, Lexi fired a Sequence 2 bullet from the Blaze Parallax Rifle.
Sequence 2: Inflict the target with Doom Blaze Mark. When this target is struck by a second bullet from the rifle, their blood ignites, dealing damage equal to 50% to 70% of the target's max health.
Fortunately, the -30% accuracy debuff did not trigger, and the bullet hit the wraith. It wasn't damaged much, but it was inflicted with the Doom Blaze Mark.
Now Lexi just needed to hit it one more time, and it would lose a huge chunk of vitality.
Meanwhile, Axir dodged a projectile of large claws coming at him by jumping high again, and Aoi struck with her attack when she saw the chance.
A card flickered in Axir's eyes briefly as he descended.
Librated Drift!
Appearing ten meters behind the wraith, the chain scythe shot toward it again and made a slash.
Axir pulled the chain, flinging the scythe mid-air and inflicting another slash masterfully.
92% vitality remaining.
The wraith screeched, targeting Axir again since he was dealing the most damage to it.
Lexi was preparing another shot.
After leisurely dodging another attack, Axir appeared fifty meters above the wraith, head down and legs up, his weapon changing into a large umbrella-type lance.
The Airbending Boots overlapped his equipment set's boots as Axir pressed against the air, kicked off with his full strength, and shot downward like a shooting star.
The lance began spinning as infernal crimson flames swirled around it at terrifying speed. Axir dove down at nearly Mach 2, unleashing a sonic boom as he struck the wraith directly on the head.

—> The whirling flame array released around the lance becomes compact and intense, causing the lance to spin faster depending on the user's movement speed, increasing damage exponentially without limit. Durability is reduced rapidly.
—> Each strike inflicts Omni-Defense Break. The percentage depends on the damage dealt by the weapon and can break up to 100% defense.
A massive shockwave spread outward as the lance impacted. A throat-tearing screech followed as the wraith's vitality dropped by 19% instantly, and its defense was reduced by 48%.
In response, it angrily swiped its claw at Axir, who was standing atop it with the lance embedded in its body.
Axir vanished first using Librated Drift. The claw swipe failed to fully execute as Aoi's strike from the Cinder Verdict Katana activated the Verdict she had inflicted earlier.
Since the target was attacked, the verdict triggered accordingly:
Attack: If the target attacks, unleash an explosion from a random part of its body and fling it away.
An explosion erupted around the wraith's torso, blasting it several meters away.
At that moment, Lexi fired her second bullet.
Unfortunately, the accuracy debuff caused it to miss this time.
Selena focused on the final two trees, arrows firing from her bow like beams. She pulled the strings as fast as possible, giving it her all since she didn't need to aim, only to release as many arrows as she could.
Nobody needed commands anymore.
Aoi managed to land another strike, inflicting Verdict once more.
Axir appeared even higher in the sky using Librated Drift, this time combining the Airbending Boots' kick-off technique with Rocket Wings to boost his speed to the maximum.
Seeing that another devastating attack was coming, one that would deal even more damage due to its reduced defense, the wraith attempted to dodge.
Verdict activated.
Retreat/Dodge: If the target retreats or dodges, root it in place and burn its limbs for 2 seconds, dealing total damage equal to 5% of its max health.
It was rooted in place. No chance to escape.
The furiously spinning lance, now even more powerful than before, struck the wraith, raging flames spiraling violently around it.

The wraith screamed as its chains glowed crimson before shattering apart. It was negating physical damage on top of that. If not, the damage would've been insane.

Now! Lexi's eyes glinted as she pulled the trigger.
The bullet struck the wraith squarely.

Everyone leveled up.
Axir leveled up once, while Aoi, Lexi, and Selena leveled up twice.
The boss dissolved into motes of light, leaving behind a treasure chest and a crimson floating card etched with black patterns.

"Indeed." Selena nodded.
"Yep. I'll keep it." Axir smiled.
"Alright, time to open the chest." Lexi grinned. "Should we do rock, paper, scissors to decide who opens it?"
"If Axir wants to, yeah." Selena looked at him.
'She really is sucking up to him without missing a spot,' Lexi glanced at Selena. 'I have to expose her and take her place.'
"Sure, let's do rock, paper, scissors." Axir chuckled.
They played quickly, and Aoi emerged as the final winner, earning the right to open the Tier-5 Treasure Chest.
It glowed and burst with sparks as several items dropped onto the ground.
One was an armor set.

"I'll take the set. I needed one for my level anyway." Axir placed the set, along with two Tier-5 Legendary resources, one fruit and one flower, into his inventory.

"A Rare deck, too! That's awesome!" Aoi grinned. "Dark Tidecaller Occultist. Sounds cool."
"Surely you don't need another deck, right?" Selena chuckled, looking at Axir.
"Of course not. Do you want to use this Rare deck instead of the one I gave you?" Axir asked. "This one is more mage-like, unlike the rapier-based deck I gave you."
He had previously given her the Rare deck Radiant Gale Duelist, though she hadn't used it yet since she lacked a rapier and had been using his Shivanta weapons for farming.
Axir had acquired this deck from one of the four caves he explored during the final ten minutes of his remaining gameplay time yesterday.
He also obtained another level 50 equipment set and several Tier-5 Epic and Legendary resources, storing them in permanent storage purchased for 100 gold coins. He stored all Epic and Legendary resources while selling lower-ranked ones for gold.
"Sure, I'll take this one." Selena nodded. "It requires a wand, and I already have one."
"I also want to use my new deck, Mecha Ranger Weimbus." Aoi giggled. "But I have to become unarmed for it."
"I'm transferring Radiant Gale Duelist to you, Lexi." Axir transferred it. "Now that we're done here, you all go back to the kingdom. Farm monsters on your own to complete your quests and get your Uncommon decks."
Selena, Aoi, and Lexi paid gold to teleport back to the Suryax Kingdom capital.
