Chapter 22 - Siddha

Axir, Aunt Kira, and Mio sat at a table alongside Sakamoto, James, Ling, and Robin.

Robin had curly hair and was from France. He looked to be in his thirties, with a slim and short build, his height around 5'3".

But he was a professional assassin and one of the strongest martial artists, with proficiency in all sorts of firearms as well as assassination techniques with weapons.

Ranked eighth on the level leaderboard, level 26.

After introducing himself and talking for a bit, one more person arrived.

It was a beautiful lady, tall and cold, with shiny blond hair and snow-like skin.

She had beautiful ruby eyes, her figure perfect and regal, with her height reaching 5'8".

Maria Fulvil, from Russia. A genius who mixed martial arts and had her own distinct style. The leader of the assassin organization in which Robin was vice-leader.

Ranked fifth on the level leaderboard, level 27. Age: 43.

As she arrived and sat down, her eyes settled on Axir.

"Who are these new guests?"

"Surprise guests. Meet Axir. Player Ace, the number one on the leaderboard," James introduced Axir.

"Hi, Lady Maria." Axir smiled and nodded at her in greeting.

"I wasn't expecting the number one player to be so young." Maria raised her eyebrows.

"That's nothing. He defeated us in martial arts, one versus one," Ling smiled wryly. "Without using cards."

Maria blinked, shock clear in her eyes. "That's… impressive."

She then looked at Aunt Kira, who quickly waved her hands. "I am nothing. Just a normal widow who was working and taking care of her daughter and nephew."

"He found this location via a one-time-use card called Search. Apparently, it's the safest place in nature according to the card, so he is here," Robin snickered. "How ironic, considering the work some of us do."

"And yet, it's true." James smiled. "Thanks to old man Siddha."

"Wait, did he also win against Siddha?" Maria asked, disbelief in her eyes.

"Nope. He has yet to spar with him," Sakamoto caressed his beard. "But their spar will be very interesting."

Axir smiled wryly.

He was confident of defeating everyone except Siddha.

Having fought him multiple times in his pre-regression life, Axir knew he had no chance of winning against Siddha without cards.

Siddha was like an avatar of Buddha, but a dangerous version.

Born in India, Siddha had learned the most ancient martial arts from India, such as Kalaripayattu and Malla. With a genius brain and aptitude, he incorporated all sorts of arts from all over the world and became an unstoppable force of nature among humans.

He had created weapons that people could not imagine and had utter mastery over them. His physique was the peak of human body potential unleashed, forged through hellish training, and his combat styles were exotic and unpredictable.

Even at his current age of 62, he was undefeated across the world. And now that Infinite Breaker Online had arrived, his age limits were also broken.

For Siddha, today was indeed a special occasion.

"Old man is going all out. The aroma is crazy."

"Yeah, it's going to be a heavenly feast."

Mio blinked. "Is it that tasty?"

"Of course, young lady. His food is his own recipes, and they are something you can never eat anywhere else."

"He has vast applications of spices, so the tastes he creates are otherworldly. They are layered." Robin grinned. "I am a top-class chef in the world of mortals, but he is simply in the god realm when it comes to cooking. You'll know once you eat. It's pure bliss."

"And that creativity also reflects in his martial arts. That old man is a monster of nature and man," Ling nodded.

"I shall share a fact about him." Sakamoto caressed his beard. "Twenty-eight years ago, he was in Antarctica. He drank seals' milk to survive and trained on ice and underwater in utter coldness with only a single piece of cloth. An underwear."

"For five years."

"Oh my…" Aunt Kira was dumbfounded.

Mio's mouth opened wide in shock. "No way! Really?"

"Yep." Ling nodded. "He had already defeated all the top masters by that time, so he was fighting against strong animals."

"Whoa…" Mio blinked, eyes twinkling. "But why did he train in Antarctica for five years?"

"He said he wanted to develop some kind of muscles, and it was only possible in a very cold region with extreme cold water exercises," Sakamoto smiled wryly.

"It must have been very hard to survive there," Aunt Kira wondered.

"Not at all."

The voice came from the kitchen door twenty meters away as an old man with a frame of 6'7", beastly yet lean-muscled, walked out of the kitchen. His shoulder-length black hair, like a lion's mane, swayed slightly as he walked, with lidded dishes floating around him and two dishes held in his hands.

He looked like a different kind of creature, but far more elegant yet wild compared to humans.

The lidded dishes floated alongside him as he walked toward the table.

Axir blinked. 'He has already become proficient in some Mana applications.'

"It was a pleasant experience. Training after drinking the seals' strong milk generated enough heat and energy for my body to adapt every day." Siddha smiled at Aunt Kira. "I went there again seven years ago, since it makes me younger."

Aunt Kira couldn't help but blush as she saw him looking at her while answering, but she quickly composed herself.

'I don't know what to say, gosh.'

The dishes floated toward the table and landed smoothly.

"I was also training with Mana and lifting objects, but it seems you already got a knack for it," Sakamoto laughed.

"Indeed. Life is going to be wonderful. I'm glad to be alive, hahaha." Siddha laughed and sat down on a chair.

"Brother, this uncle is amazing, right?" Mio whispered.

Axir chuckled. "He is."

Turning to Siddha, he said, "Nice to meet you, senior. I am Axir."

"Mhm. I was listening." Siddha nodded with a grin, his eyes filled with interest. "Let's have a spar after eating."

"OUM!" Mio's eyes widened as the strange ball wrapped in leaves and skewered with a stick jolted her mind with its taste. "So tasty! What is it?"

"It's made from three vegetables and the shredded inner wood of a tree found in the Amazon forest, marinated with nineteen types of spices and then fried with another tree's leaves, which are also a kind of spice."

"Whoa." Mio was surprised. "It's all vegetarian? But it feels so unique…"

"What is this meat? So tasty." James blinked.

"That's from the most dangerous tiger I had defeated. Thought I would save its meat since it was so strong."

"Délicieux!" Robin's eyes sparkled.

And so, the feast began in full swing.
