"Shit! Run!" Axir shouted, and he grabbed Selena's hand before using Leap!
Right as he finished speaking and leaped away, Kazuo and Lexi flung up in the air.
Not on their own, nope.
But inside a giant crocodile's mouth.
Both of them split into two as they screamed and then turned into motes as they vanished.
"Fuck! What the fuck?!"
"Get outta here!"
The crocodile landed back in the water after that flip, and this gave them some time as Jason, Yuta, and Aoi began swimming back to the lakeshore.
The crocodile went right behind them as they were visible and an easy target.
But Axir and Selena dived down.
Selena watched as Axir dragged her down. The crocodile was not after them.
[ Selena: Where are we going? ]
[ Axir: I saw a cave below. Thought it was our best bet to survive. ]
[ Selena: And you didn't tell others. ]
Axir turned to her briefly, a smile on his face.
[ Axir: I think you are intelligent enough to know why. Not all of us could survive, so of course, I would prioritize my girlfriend. ]
Selena's eyes glinted as she smiled.
[ Selena: Well…you did right. Let's see if there's anything in that cave. ]
She also saw it.
As both of them entered the cavern, they swam for another minute before finally getting a chance to breathe after emerging from a cavern's pond.
"This….this is really some secret area." Selena's eyes twinkled.
Axir was behind her, his hands around her waist and face near hers as he kissed her neck. "Told you."
Selena jerked slightly.
"Ah, sorry." Axir stepped away and used Rumbling Leap as he leaped out and landed on the ground.
Looking at her, he scratched his head while smiling goofily. "We've been friends and only entered a relationship today. It's just, you are so beautiful, I couldn't hold back."
Selena's cheeks were slightly flushed. "It's fine."
'Prick.'
She arrived at the shore as Axir gave her his hand and pulled her.
"I guess you became more assertive after entering the game. You were not like that before." Selena smiled as her arms wrapped around his shoulder and leaned closer.
"You don't like me being assertive a bit?" Axir cheekily smiled and kissed her.
'This is just for the benefits.' Selena thought as she kissed him instead of backing away.
The intensity slowly increased as Axir's waist pushed towards hers, and he grabbed her buttcheeks.
"Alright, now let's see what we can find here." Selena stopped and looked around.
"Yeah," Axir looked around. "We got a passage leading somewhere, and there are some flowers here and there."
Walking towards the nearest flower, Selena touched one, and its information popped up.

'Duh, of course you are going to find this quality of stuff here. This is a level 20 elite area.'
Axir was grinning from ear to ear.
He knew about this location. Usually, one has to beat that level 20 elite monster, Aquafang Crocodile.
But by using other people as bait, it was possible to swim here if one could find the location of the cave entrance and swim directly towards it before getting caught by it.
"Let's collect everything, and I am telling you," Axir said as he looked at her. "We are not sharing this with anyone. It's only for us."
"Of course." Selena chuckled. "It's ours. We'll use it for only ourseleves. But how are we gonna use it? Give a 10 percent chance a go and see if we succeed?"
"No, I think that's a bad idea. We should get better decks first before using such resources."
Axir walked towards her.
"Give me yours. I'll keep them together in one inventory. I think I have less chance of death, so our stuff won't drop." Axir wryly smiled.
"If things drop on our death, then it's bad." Selena frowned.
"Games like this usually have such a feature, so it's better to be safe than sorry."
"Yeah." Selena gave the flowers she collected to Axir.
They got a total of six flowers!
Four Tier-2 Epic, and two Tier-2 Legendary.
"Let's go. Since there's a passage, there must be something truly valuable ahead," Selena said.
"Yep."
And so, the duo began moving.
Just as they walked inside, the dark passage automatically illuminated with ghastly torch lights colored chilling blue.
"This…" Selena was surprised. "This is some magical place."
"Might be a dungeon. You know there are dungeons in games like this. But I don't know what kind of dungeons this game has."
As the duo walked twenty meters and took one turn, they saw a space in the wall to their left with a treasure chest shining there!
This was the first thing Axir wanted.

"Wow….it's a treasure chest." Selena got excited. "I guess we really struck it rich."
"Yep. Open it, let's see what we got." Axir smiled, but his eyes glinted deviously. It was time to get rid of her now that he showed her this secret area.
"Alright." Selena rubbed her palms and touched the lockpad on the chest.
In the next moment, the treasure chest opened with a burst and then expanded into a giant mouth that abruptly devoured her head before trying to gulp her whole as she screamed in horror.
Axir sprang into action at perfect timing and precision, and grabbed her chest, the plump, developed breast of this bitch.
The monster was trying to eat her, and Axir was barely holding her back, his hands grabbing her breasts tightly while Selena's screams rang out from Mimic's mouth.
Axir shouted. "Shit, the pull is too strong!! I am slipping! Fuck, I'm really sorry. I tried to grab you fast, but mistakenly grabbed there."
"L-Let go! It's fine! Screw this! It's hurting me!"
"Sorry, babe! But I'll definitly share whatever I find here!"
And then, Axir let go.
Selena vanished, completely sucked into Mimic's mouth, and died.
Axir grinned.
In his previous life, when they entered a relationship, he was too blind because his focus was elsewhere, and he was so foolish in love that he didn't see the signs.
Selena would let him kiss her in their first year, and they were eighteen to nineteen years old, so Axir obviously wanted to do other stuff as well.

"Good job," Axir said as he rubbed the Mimic chest's head five times.
The chest acted like a dog and whimpered cutely before glowing and opening with colorful sparks and turning into motes, vanishing forever.
Mimic Chests were disguised as Mystic Treasure Chests in many areas. And the only way to open a Mimic chest was to rub it five times on its head.
