After spending the whole afternoon cooking a giant scorpion, they continue their journey to the kingdom of Sahhara. Nothing significant happened during their journey except for one thing...
They came across a crowd as they were walking. Raye being curious, decided to check out. They learned that the crowd was for a dungeon. Dungeon, places that existed since the first dawn of the world, everything in there are sustain by magic energy, though no one is able to explained how did it forms. dungeons exist everywhere in the world. They go deep into the world and it consists of any types of beast.
Loud chatters can be heard from the crowd. All of them were going in the dungeon. Raye then remember something.
"Wait, I think I heard of this dungeon before, researcher found an exit that leads us nearer to the kingdom of Sahhara,"
"This would be a great help to us, we would save a few weeks time if we use this dungeon,"
"Then lets use the dungeon,"
They entered the dungeon. There were many party doing preparation. There is a huge map that shows how many levels this dungeon has. Dungeon levels increases every year and hero party would discover them as a quest to earn rewards.
Raye:"Alright, I don't think there is much need of a preparation for us,"
Al:"There is a food booth over there,"
They look to their right and notice a line over there. Al went over to line up and when is their turn, the only food left are a few rotten vegetables.
"Better luck next time,"
Al walk back to Will and Raye, feeling down. Will said nothing as Raye tries to comfort Al. They decided to enter the first level of the dungeon. The environment of the first level is a jungle-like place. There is a bridge to get past this level. The level is humid, at least it is better than walking in the dune where the sun glares at you. Will notices few giant frogs with various colors. A party that is in front of them killed one and claim the frog by putting it inside an infinite item bag created by magic. Will then copied them by using a fire arrow to strike a frog but it then exploded, the poison burst out. Al uses protection spell to protect them from the poison.
Raye:"Sorry Will but that's not how you kill a giant frog,"
Raye then jump out of the bridge and draw out is sword. He then landed in front of the frog. The frog tries to eat Raye by sticking its tongue out and capturing Raye but Raye dodges all the attack and slice of its head. Will then cast shadow magic to devour the frog, acting as a 'infinite item bag'.
Raye then jump back up on the bridge and told Will that striking the frog from the above would hit its organ where it stores their poison, making it burst.
They then continue and met other beasts like an alpha gorilla but got handled easily by Will and Raye. After a long walk, they then entered the second level of the dungeon. This level the sky is dark, imitating the night of the real world. This level is imitating the night of the dune except that it is much less colder. Then, there is a group of undead walking towards them. The undeads dresses like hero and mages, probably imitating the fallen hero party that died in the dune.
Al then stepped forward and raised his hand,
"HOLY CIRCLE,"
A blue shaped circle then casted below the undeads, trapping them inside it, a light then flashes the undeads as if it is purifying the undeads, turning them into nothing. The clothes that the undeads are wearing fall off onto the ground. Raye then walked toward it and searches the clothing. Al looked at Raye in disgust, thinking he likes dead people clothes.
Will:"What are you doing?"
Raye:"Seeing if they have any goods that they kept,...., Found something!"
Raye then pulled out tiny magic crystals insides the undead pockets.
Al:"I see what you are doing,"
Al then join Raye, searching for any good inside the undead clothing.
Will not understanding their reason, stood there watching them as if he is an owner of two dogs digging for bone. Will received stares from the other hero parties that walk past by. Finally, Raye and Al stoped and stood up. Raye's hand has a few tiny blue magic crystals and Al have a few tiny orange magic crystals.
Will:"..., let me guess, you guys want to sell those tiny fragment to earn money,"
Raye:"You're right,"
Will:"Do they worth much? Seems that they are tiny to me,"
Al:"We could at least earn a few silver coins with this, magic crystal can be found in dungeon and they rarely seen outside, the huge size worth quite the fortune, though no one really seen one..."
Will:"... I see,"
As they set up their tent to sleep for the night, Will ask Al a question.
Will:"The magic you use earlier, to destroy the undead,..."
Al:"Not really destroy, its like purifying them, letting them rest, priest are known for this kind of magic and they are good against undead, I'm surprised you never seen this magic before, despite being a dark sage..."
Will:"I did, though I never really give much attention to it,"
Will:"Magic are unique huh, my old self curious to learn black magic would have thought of learning priest magic if he have seen one,"
Al:"..."
Raye:"Lets get some shut eyes, we need to be fully prepared for tomorrow, dungeons are things human can't explain, who knows what a dungeon got for us,"
They then eat their leftover scorpion meal that they have for lunch earlier as dinner before they went to bed.
