Aurora took a sip of the drink in front of her absentmindedly and did not notice the glee that flashed in her eyes. She continued sipping her drink absent mindedly and finished it after sometime.

"did you see Aurora?"
"I did. I almost did not recognize her. She's so beautiful" a girl said replying to her friend. They were the ones that were jealous of her looks and simply kept saying that she was not worthy of being a school beauty but now, they did not doubt it any more.
"what's so good about her? She's just some ugly freak that basked in makeup and plastic surgery."
'tsk. You think she is like you who usually moves from one hospital to another in search for a good doctor to make you the prettiest socialite?" another sneered in contempt. In fact, all of them were envious. They stood at the side and watched as she took all the attention while they were left standing there awkwardly. She was like a phoenix in the sky and they were ducks that wandered about. The expression was uncanny but even her sepsis couldn't hold a candle to her.
The door opened and the party organizer walked inside with a cool depression behaving like a typical second generation heir that he was. The girls began to scream excitedly when they saw him, leaving Aurora confused. She leaned on Ava and asked her.
"who is this?"
"he's the party organizer. A rich second generation heir. His name is Travis."
"young master Travis." Ava walked towards him and greeted and held his hand intimately which made Aurora's eyes widen
"Ava this is?" she asked again.
"Travis. My boyfriend" gasps filled the room and it was not only Aurora who was stunned. Ava smirked gleefully, the limelight had finally moved from Aurora to ava.
