Greyson POV
"Bite down. Hard" he growled. "This is going to hurt, Son of Alpha."
The rope burned my wrists.
I had been tied down for what felt like hours. The man—Hakeem—was hovering over me, his yellow-stained teeth clenched in concentration. He shoved a stick between my teeth.
I fought him. He shoved it deeper.
I bit down.
He opened the little pot by the side of the creaky bed and scooped out a grayish paste by hand.
I braced. This wasn't our first torture session.
The paste hit my neck. It was cold at first like usual. Then it burned. It felt like fire ants crawling under my skin, burrowing into my veins, eating me alive from the inside.
I screamed. The sound was muffled by the stick the son of a bitch had shoved in my mouth. I thrashed against the ropes violently. They held.
Good for him because I would have snapped his neck.
"You have the power to stop this!" Hakeem yelled. "Tell me what I want to hear. Make it stop, Greyson Dubois, son of the mighty Alpha!"
