"Clang, clang."
From the old castle's kitchen came the sound of pottery falling and shattering. The plump head cook wearing an apron, hearing the commotion, poked her head to peek inside the kitchen. Her eyebrows tightly knitted together, her face full of worry, she asked the person inside softly: "Mr. Xavier, are you alright? Do you truly not need my help?"
"No need."
"Alright then, I am outside, if you need help just call for me." The head cook waited for a while. Seeing the person inside had no intention of answering her, she finally wiped her hands on her apron and went to the side to knead dough. In her heart, she was still secretly wondering if Mr. Xavier was sick today; otherwise, why would a noble Lord run into the kitchen to compete for the cook's job?
