Jasmine carefully walked to the edge of the coast, sticking her head out to look down at the reef below, her heart still beating thump-thump.
Although the reef was submerged by seawater, the water here was not too deep. Added to the clear seawater under daylight, one could clearly see every stone underwater.
With the giant body of the beast, it could not hide in such shallow and clear water without being detected.
"It's gone." Angus sniffed with his keen nose, lowered his voice fearing the terrifying sea monster would hear and return, and said happily to Jasmine.
"Yes, it seems safe now."
Shadows of the beast were nowhere to be seen, and the oppressive atmosphere dissipated.
The seabirds, which had been so scared they didn't know where to hide, also began to fly out, becoming active again on the sea surface, scouring everywhere for sea fish hiding underwater; their calls made the space less frightening.
