'Haaah! Am I not trying hard enough?'
He sighed while looking at the boy sleep.
It's been more than a week since ethan started sitting there and so far all his efforts to try and get close to 'Dohyun'-found out his name from the others- were all going under the bus, the boy was very closed off, which he didn't expect because in a few years time he would debut as an idol and would be known for his outgoing puppy like nature.

Who would have expect him to be such a closed off person, scared of even the slightest touch? 'I guess what they show on TV is all an act afterall'
He planned on getting close to Dohyun in order to - his thoughts were interrupted when Dohyun stood up and walked out of class abruptly. This was a common occurance, everyday during the ten minute break he would be gone for like eight minutes and sometimes he wouldn't come back at all. Of course it wasn't in his place to judge someone but still from the little time he spent trying to befriend him he knew that the kid was always punctual and prioritized his classes.
Ethan didn't know what pushed him to follow Dohyun today but he found himself doing so.
He followed the boy to the the old building that wasn't being used,which was strange to him. Dohyun's behavior was even stranger, he looked nervous? But why?. Ethan followed him and hid himself behind the wall making sure he he could see everything, He saw dohyun walk up to a group of five boys, three of which he recognized as his so called 'friends', which was weird because Dohyun wasn't the type of person of associate with. What was going on? Was he just pretending or was he getting bullied? But his question was quickly answered as one of them grabbed him by his hair as soon as he arrived.
''H-hey! L-let go! I-I have the money today...t-take it!" Dohyun trembled as he tried to set himself free. Amused the bully shoved him onto the ground ''Then what are you waiting for?! If you have the money give it!'' One shouted while aggressively kicking him in the stomach, the others just laughed ''Hey can't you Hurry it up already! It's so fucking hot today!" Another one added. Dohyun quickly stood up and handed them the money, just then someone kicked him on his shin making him fall back to the ground in pain ''Who the fuck told you to stand! Huh?'' Dohyun just lay there struggling and in pain. ''Ahh this is boring! Let's see how long he can last until he–" before he could finish his sentence a fist had landed on his nose making him stumble back while holding his nose in pain ''Ahh, the fuck!, shit- who the hell are you''
Dohyun was surprised by the face he had seen, infront of him stood a breathless ethan all sweety with a cold expression on his face. ''Yo ethan relax dude! We were just having some fun'' One of his 'friends' said ''yah! Just playing around'' another one added ''Do I seriously look like a fool to you? Only a fool would believe that'' he replied calmy.
The one who got punched suddenly spoke up '' And so what? This is the way we hang out, just mind your own business!"
''But this is my business, As it involves my friend so it's either you get lost and stop bothering him or you face the consequences'' he said calmly
But the boy only scoffed ''Hah! Consequences? What a joke! I'm warning you one last time to stop playing hero and just get lost otherwise I'll beat both you and friend to a pulp!" But ethan didn't move he just stood there infront of Dohyun shielding him from the bullies.
His 'friends' exchanged looks with one another unsure of which side to take. But just then the one who got punched charged towards ethan attacking him, ethan dodged his attack but couldn't do the same with the next one that swiftly followed, he had no experience in fighting and it was easily noticeable due to his sloopy moves. His 'friends' took this as a sign, if they could beat him up into submission then they would be able to collect miney from him. The only reason they tolerated him was because of his wealth, they hoped to benefit from him but ethan wasn't much of a spender and that lowered their spirits but they still persisted. Now finding a better way to benfit from him they joined the fight.
It wasn't a fair fight for ethan but he still tried his best, they kicked and punched him all while laughing at him, others mocking him. This however didn't stop his fighting spirit, he pushed himself to dodge and fight back all while avoiding fatal blows and it paid off because not even five minutes into the fight two male teachers came running ''Hey you stop that!''
''Shit! How did they find us!''
Some tried to run away but ethan managed to grab their hands ''Hey you shit! Damn it let go!'' But it was too late the teachers had manged to grab all of them.
''Ethan sorry for arriving late I had to find Mr Suho'' one of the tall teachers with glasses said.
Earlier when he figured out it was a case of bullying, he ran to the teachers staff room and unfortunately only found him, but still he told him what was going on before quickly Heading back, he knew he couldnt take on all five at once, he had no fighting experience but still some strength to endure because he exercised.
''tsk to think we have such scum in our school!, I won't let you get off so easily!" Mr suho the PE teacher said while walking away ''you guys should probably head to the nurses office for a check up'' the tall one with glasses said then smiled and walked away leaving the two boys alone. ''Hey are you hurt, can you stand?" Ethan asked looking at Dohyun with concern
''A-ah Yes '' Dohyun said and stood up glancing at a ragged ethan ''we should probably go and have you examined'' he added
''No I'm good no need to worry, lets just go and have you checked'' he replied as they walked towards the nurses office in silence.
They arrived and got Dohyun treated, the nurse also treated ethan albeit forcefully.
'' We should probably go home for the day! I'm sure our home room teacher would understand, wait here lemme go inform her and collect our stuff'' Ethan said when he finished his treatment ''ah! That's not necessary'' Dohyun said sounding dejected
Ethan just patted his head and stood up ''I dont want to make up conclusions about you but... If I were to understand your feelings, I know you wouldn't want people to kow about what happened ''he said then scratched his head ''And besides! We can just go do something fun rather than attend boring class, well if that's okay with you?" Dohyun just stared at him and finally let out a sigh ''Okay....''
