"Tell me," Anita whispered, staring at Nero as she sat on his bed.
She had declined Gotti's request to stay in with him, she needed to start connecting the dots. Not to be misunderstood, she would have loved to stay with that one-of-a-kind sexy Alpha, but she needed to find a base.
At the moment, she felt like she was floating in the air with no solid ground to land on. Since Gotti was no longer trying to make her life hard, it was time she started to live her second life as her own.
"Tell you what, mama?" Nero asked, looking up from his sketchbook.
Anita moved closer, "Tell me how..." She trailed off as she saw his latest drawing, her eyes widening, "Nero... what are you drawing?" She asked quietly.
Nero smiled, staring down at his book, "It's beautiful, right? I just need to fix the tail and Nova will be complete." He said with pride, getting back to work with his lip between his teeth.
