Gotti stepped out of his bathroom and paused.
A smiling tugged at his lips as he saw Anita laying sprawled on the bed, the covers riding up to almost reveal her.
He inhaled deeply, her scent still very much in the air.
He loved the way her body was always ready for him even on her unconscious state.
He could not understand why he hadn't gotten her together with him for so long. He had been busy trying to find a fault to hate.
He never hated her, he hated himself for realising that Anita was the one true light that came into his life.
He was scared of the light, darkness has been his only friend for ages, and it was quite easier to hide in darknes. One could hide his tears and weaknesses without being spotted. But, in the light, he was vulnerable, spotted.
Darkness was easier.
Would he hide away from the light then?
No.
Anita waa his world, and je could not imagine himself returning to that cold, empty darkness.
