It was dark.
It felt as if her body were swimming in an endless ocean of dark.
She wanted to open her eyes, but just couldn't.
Each time she tried, someone, or something would force her eyelids to shut tightly closed.
But this time, for some reason she could open them.
Her mind drifted to the only memories she held.
Foggy.
No memories surfaced.
Not even how the world looked before, nothing.
She didn't even know how she came to exist.
It felt like someone had pressed the hard reset button onto her mind.
The mere fact that she couldn't remember anything made her feel something damp trickle down her cheek.
She didn't know why she felt like this.
Her pale-lavender eyes fluttered open.
The light hurt, but it didn't take long for the first thing to greet her and say 'good morning'
It was a tall, tall ceiling.
So tall in fact that it wouldn't be a stretch to say that it was the sky.
Not that she had seen it herself, or perhaps remembered it.
Her head tilted to the sides, her body laid on what seemed to her a resting place. Oddly feeling safety tugging her body.
To her right stood a tall and wide mirror, as if purposefully put there.
And she saw herself, copied onto the reflecting surface of the mirror.
Long, flowing silver hair sprawled onto the comfy surface of where she laid.
Her pale eyes were tinged with a light lavender.
Despite seeing her appearance reflected cleanly, she felt it to be foreign to her.
She did not know the reason why however, as the truth in the literal sense reflected clearly in front of her very own eyes.
Unbeknownst to her, the unique pupils shifted downwards to a figure sitting beside something she could not understand.
"Seems you're awake"
The figure said, dark eyes meeting hers.
Looking at his Jet-Black hair, she felt he was completely different to her.
And the foreign, would obviously scare a regressed mind.
"No need to be afraid"
When he opened his mouth, she couldn't understand him.
Even more fear crept up on her the more he 'talked' to her.
The man tried to go closer, but as if sensing her fear, he stopped and plopped down onto the same spot he was at again.
"It feels like I am talking to a baby, well, I guess a baby would thrash around and make a huge scene"
He opened something from the flat surface of wood.
Sensing her curiosity, he spoke.
"This is a book or well a novel I forgot to read and picked back up"
He tapped a finger onto the 'book' once and then onto the wood flat surface he got it from.
"This is a desk, your desk in fact"
He then tapped on something the length of her arm.
"And this is a very, very comfy chair that I bought off the black market"
His hand brushed on the flat, comfy surface she rested.
"And this is a bed"
Despite telling her this, she still did not understand much about what he said.
"...?"
A finger was then pointed at her, the abrupt motion made her heart jump from fear.
"And you are...."
His eyes softened at the next words he spoke.
"Mistress Asfip of the fallen household 'Therios'"
Her eyes narrowed in her capability to not understand.
"And...I am"
He brought a hand to his chest.
"██████"
The words were muffled and smudged, not that she would be able to understand anyway.
Tok!
Tok!
The sound jolted her to move, but it was then that she realised.
She could not move a singular muscle to safety.
"Come in"
The man said another word she could not comprehend.
The door creaked open and a figure walked in.
They had the same black hair and eyes as the figure, albeit in a different form than the other.
Both being similar in appearances, it made her feel she was the strange one.
The other figure that opened the 'wall' spoke while keeping his eyes onto her.
"Who is this?"
He asked.
"Your sister"
The man replied simply.
"Don't screw with me!"
The other man with sunken cheeks and dark circles under his eyes spoke.
"This is not my sister!"
"It is"
The moment he rebuked, the man grew furious, Asfip's eyes shook at the rising voice, something was thumping and striking her from the inside, she didn't know what but she didn't like it.
"Look at her, I gave you a picture of her for a reason damn it!"
He walked-no rushed to her and grasped her silver hair and hand.
The force in which he grabbed her, made her vision blur with something warm trickling down her cold skin.
"That is because of the side effects my treatment had on her"
The mouth of the man raising their voice gaped open.
Something fell out of the pockets of the man.
"Don't her face and the face you see now look the same?"
He looked at the small object that had fallen down.
Asfip could barely glance at it.
It was a girl, a girl with Jet-Black hair like these two men with warm dark eyes, a crown of something green and yellow sat on the top of her head.
"Well, I don't have a flower crown to make it truly accurate, should I get one"
The figure had turned silent, not answering for a while.
His arms and shoulders shook as he looked more at the picture.
They eventually stopped and his cracked lips parted into words that Asfip, yet again could not hope to understand.
"W-Why did she need treatment?"
The other man sighed and told him calmly.
"The curse was too powerful"
He sat close to where she laid.
"Changing her appearance was the closest thing I could do to weaken it"
The man with a hollow expression asked again.
"Why did changing her appearance weaken the curse?"
Shrugging his shoulders, he spoke with a careless attitude.
"Because the curse affects her 'past' appearance, not her 'current' one, meaning if she were afflicted with the curse at a younger age, it would naturally become weaker as she grew older"
He looked at her, and her eyes shifted away from him.
"The curse is still there, but it will only give her a boost in making others fall for her"
He looked back at the man.
"Basically, she is just a real pretty lady right now"
The other man pressed his fingers on his head, clearly in frustration.
"Then how did you change her appearance to the point that even her eyes, hair and skin tone changed?"
Bringing a finger to his lips. The man muttered something that annoyed the other one.
"It's a secret~"
Saying this, the man opposite him clenched his jaw tightly before relaxing after looking at his sister.
"Fine, come to my room to receive your payment"
"Huhu~"
Chuckling, both left, leaving Asfip all alone in the room.
Only then did she let out a liberating sigh.
Though, she was still trying her best to move her body and escape.
