Under the rubble, a tall pole stuck out in the center, supporting the stone about to fall down.
Right beside it I stood, a chalk burned in the distance as I pulled another from my bosom.
"Sucks to no be able to use magic"
Having to resort to trickery was not something I was particularly fond of.
It was just too annoying of a process to me.
"Shame that I have to use these precious spells"
They took very long to make. The journey to making them is grounding the bones of live animals or humans to make something that resembles closely to a chalk.
Then after that, you have to pray.
Pray by slaughtering those who are your enemies.
The enemies of the God you pray to for miracles.
"My weak body makes it hard to get any good miracle though"
The greater the enemy, the greater the reward.
Shaking the thoughts away, I tapped the chalk once on the floor.
It hummed a slow glow.
The chalk burned fiercely.
I threw it at the debris blocking my way.
Shaaaaaaa
Steam billowed from it and obscured my vision.
However, I still walked forward.
Where the wall was supposed to be, was nothing.
The obstacle had disappeared from the face of the earth.
I heeded no more attention to it and started jogging forward.
The fighting behind me grew fiercer and fiercer the more I walked.

"Hooooo"
I took a breath of fresh air and huddled it inside my lungs.
The exhale felt just as satisfying.
Hooves from a horse could be heard from a distance.
Glancing at my left, I saw a carriage being pulled by a massive horse that looked intimidating to others.
'That will draw attention...'
I bought an ordinary carriage to not raise suspicions.
'Not my ride then?'
Hiding close to the entrance, I lowered the 'target' down to my lap.
"Do you see anything? Search till you find even a dunk!"
A woman stepped out of a carriage which had stopped close to the entrance.
As I hid, Ms. Asfip squirmed under the strong smell of nature.
'She's waking up faster than I thought'
The tranquilizer that was used should have had her sleeping for hours.
'Maybe her body got sturdier?'
Deciding that that was the case, I peeked at the flag.
'The Royal Kingdom Vulture?'
Knights from the bordering Kingdom stepped out and searched in scrutiny.
Rustle
Leaves rustled from movement, a knight was right behind me.
"Just where is that woman—Ack!"
Tripping, the knight fell right next to me.
"Hu—?"
Bang!
My fist knocked him instantly.
I pulled his body into the bushes and began stripping him naked.
Rustle
The bush rustled, and a knight heard it.
He slowly made his way to the rustling bush. Spear in hand, ready to stab anything with flick motion.
Trudging quietly toward the bush, his pupils dilated and his spear thrusted on instinct.
Clank!
Metal met metal, the spear was deflected in an instant by a sword.
"Hey wait!"
A knight got out, his helm shielding his face from being revealed.
"Ray?!"
The other knight with spear exhaled sharply at the familiar man.
"Why didn't you say anything?!"
The knight berated Ray for being dumb for not saying anything.
Ray only scratched his helm.
"Well....I tripped and tried to get out, so I didn't really see or hear you until it was too late"
"Haaaa"
The knight only sighed a relief as he patted on the shoulder of 'Ray'
"Fine, just don't go too far away, I hear an incredibly skilled mage has a hold of the product"
"Yes"
I only answered as such as I watched the retreating figure of the knight.
Looking back onto the bush, I saw the 'Target'
"Let's get you out of here"
Dragging her body outside the bush, I skillfully avoided the eyes of the knights. Any time that they would draw too close, I would throw the target onto the bushes, then picking her up later on when I deemed it to be safe.
Eventually, I made it to somewhere where it was hard to really see me without specifically trying to look for me.
"You!"
A voice called out to me, looking back, it was the female knight.
Shoving the target back into the bushes, I spoke, the muffling that the helm provided masked me for a while longer.
"Yes?"
"What are you doing here?"
She asked, the helm blocking her features from me.
"I am earnestly looking around"
I avoided using any formal names, as that had a higher chance of revealing that I am an imposter.
"You are straying away from the group, get back"
Pointing at the group, I was about to voice an objection, but.
Rustle
The rustling leaves behind me made the woman before me focus her attention elsewhere.
"...?"
Tilting her head, she walked to see what it was.
Seeing her eyes off of me, I took out a chalk that burned with a metallic, faint scent.
The shape of the chalk changed into chains.
My hand softly rested on her helm. Without her noticing.
"What is—"
Thwack!
"..!!!"
I tore away the helm with a ripping sound and in an instant.
"Kack!"
The chains in my hands immediately constrained around her helm, the metal tore into her neck.
I hid within the bushes, tightening the grip of chains around her neck, she attempted to use aura, but it was forcibly absorbed into the chains, the energy turned into heat, and the heat burned her neck.
Her limbs fell, however, I didn't stop.
'She's a faker'
She wanted me to let my guard down by pretending to have fallen unconscious.
But I knew that this much was nothing to a knight, especially from the Royal Kingdom.
So I kept choking and choking until she truly fell unconscious.
With a soft thud, I threw her aside, grabbed onto the squirming target and left the vicinity.
Nobody had found a single trace of me as I left.
"No mages?"
Running away from the crime scene, I wondered why there were no mages.
Even a single mage would have forced me to fight them head on. It was quite literally impossible to run away from one if they were skilled.
One Trace spell was all it took to make me look like prey to a hunter for fun.
"Easier for me I guess"
Them not wanting to get a mage worked well for me.
As I walked, I kept looking for the carriage, searching the area meticulously.
At one point, I even thought the driver sold me out, but those thoughts dissipated at the twin horses that appeared and rushed to my side.
"Bingo"
They were hidden close to a village far away from the city I had been in.
The horses licked me and kept playing with me, probing and poking their head everywhere.
Onto the carriage, the driver wore a fedora, it was an old but burly man.
"Hello there Naphel"
He spoke, the two horses that kept playing stiffened and walked back to him.
"Where to?"
That was all he asked.
"To Vulture"
Pursing his pale lips, the horses, one by one went to their positions.
I walked to the back and placed Ms. Asfip softly down.
"Hiya!"
The horses moved with the sound of a cracking leash.
Moving closer and closer to Vulture as I injected another strong tranquilizer onto the Mistress.
