"Hahaha that's right, this place is Team Rocket Headquarters, and this time a competition is being held here, and you Young Master are supposed to participate in this competition and win first place," Zaobo said with a smile.
"That's it, since it belongs to Team Rocket can't my father just take it himself, besides why do I have to come, with your strength couldn't you get it," Raj said as he moved his previously bound wrists.
"Because this is Team Rocket's Newcomer Championship and with our strength it would still take some effort to force our way in, so Lord Kenji specifically arranged for you to do this and said he would only feel at ease if you handled it," Zaobo explained slowly.
"Oh a Newcomer Championship, my identity has never been exposed so won't I be discovered if I participate this time," Raj asked thoughtfully.
"You do not need to worry about that Young Master we have already made all the arrangements and this is your Team Rocket uniform," Zaobo said as he handed over a set of clothes.
"You need to wear this uniform underneath and your normal clothes over it," Zaobo added as he explained the plan.
"Why not just wear it directly, since this is Team Rocket Headquarters why can't I just walk in openly like this, why go through all this trouble," Raj complained as he imagined how hot it would be wearing two layers.
"That will not work because this Team Rocket secret base is built underneath a shopping mall, on the surface it looks like a normal large mall with many ordinary people shopping there, but to enter the secret base we need this uniform," Zaobo replied.
"The base is inside a shopping mall," Raj murmured as he nodded slightly, impressed by the hidden arrangement.
"What exactly is the prize this time that made you go so far as to capture me in public, are you not afraid Officer Jenny and the others will investigate," Raj asked carefully.
"The prize this time is a Mega Evolution Bracelet and a Mega Stone, these two items are appearing for the first time in the Kanto region so they have great research value which is why Lord Kenji sent you here," Zaobo explained.
"Alright Young Master take a short rest and then we will head to Team Rocket Headquarters, this time you must succeed and cannot fail," Zaobo said with a smiling expression.
For some reason, Raj always felt that Zaobo's smile carried hidden intentions.
After preparing himself, Raj put on his hat, lowered the brim slightly, opened the door, and stepped into the crowded street.
Bright lights filled the streets and people moved everywhere in busy crowds.
They really are bold.
Raj arrived at the so-called Team Rocket Headquarters, which appeared to be nothing more than a bustling large shopping mall filled with shoppers.
Where exactly is Team Rocket Headquarters.
This clearly looks like an ordinary market.
"Hey young man over there I have excellent Poké Balls here they are easier to catch Pokémon with than those sold in Pokémon stores don't you want some they are not expensive only 998 you will not lose anything and you will not be cheated miss this chance and you will not find another shop like this," a bearded vendor shouted loudly.
"Forget it unless you have a Master Ball I am not interested," Raj replied as he walked past with a twitch in his eye.
After walking around for a while, Raj felt dazzled by the number of goods on display, and although many items looked interesting they would probably cost a lot of money.
Since he did not plan to buy anything special, he only purchased some basic supplies and Pokémon food.
There are no rare treasures here, but that is normal since treasures would not appear so easily in a public market.
"Please stop this is a VIP area and only those with credentials may enter," two men in black said as they blocked his path deeper inside the mall.
"I know I have credentials," Raj said calmly as he opened his outer clothes slightly and revealed the Team Rocket uniform underneath.
"Go ahead," the two men said as they stepped aside.
After entering, Raj found a spiral staircase leading deep underground with only faint lights along the walls, and the bottom could barely be seen.
"So the secret base is built underground," Raj murmured to himself.
He took out a flashlight and continued walking downward.
After about four or five minutes of walking, Raj finally reached the bottom.
Although it was only a passage and not yet the actual base, many guards stood on both sides watching him carefully.
After thinking for a moment, Raj removed his outer clothes completely and revealed his Team Rocket uniform before placing his casual clothes into his backpack.
Then he walked forward confidently with his head held high.
When the guards saw his uniform their sharp gazes softened and none of them stopped him.
As he walked past them, Raj could clearly feel the unpleasant aura coming from their presence.
After passing through the long corridor, Raj suddenly saw an elevator ahead and could not help feeling surprised.
He had just walked down for so long and now he was going up again.
"Go in kid it will take you where you need to go," two Team Rocket members guarding the elevator said with strange smiles.
Raj suppressed his discomfort, smiled slightly, and stepped inside.
As soon as he entered, he realized this was not a normal elevator but a small room, and inside sat a Psychic-type Pokémon Venomoth.
"How can there be a Psychic-type Pokémon here," Raj said in confusion.
Venomoth expressionlessly pointed upward.
Following its gesture, Raj looked up and almost cursed.
There was a simple sign posted above.
Money Teleport 800 no loss.
"What kind of place charges money for Teleport," Raj muttered as he reluctantly took out his League currency.
After seeing the money, Venomoth's eyes lit up slightly and it accepted the payment.
Then Venomoth's hands released a soft glowing light that surrounded Raj.
Teleport.
In the next moment, Raj felt the space around him twist as everything disappeared.
