After the class was over, Liu Ran quickly got surrounded by her classmates.
"Silvia, I thought you would be going to Moonlight College. I didn't expect you come here."
A boy spoke excitedly while many other students surrounding her.
She was completely flustered by so much attention. Luckily, their martial arts instructor came in time. He asked them to follow him to the martial arts hall.
In the Martial Arts Hall, all the students stood in a straight line. Dressed in their martial arts uniform.
Their instructor was telling them the importance of Martial Arts, but there were hardly any students who cared about it.
"Fuck it, why do I have to go through all these scenarios step by step, can't fast-forward it like usual?" Liu Zhi thought as he glanced at the bronze mirror. For some reason, the skip option he usually gets was completely grey.
"Why waste time on the martial arts, when any mecha can kill you with one punch?" Liu Ran also looked down at this teacher.
"Miss Rowan! Though I respect your grandfather, I didn't mean you could say whatever you want," The Old Man roared.
"Did I say anything wrong, teacher? No matter how good your martial arts are at the end, you can't even defeat a bigger mecha pilot."
She talked back without any fear.
"Hmph! If you think so, then let me show you something," The old teacher said angrily.
As he played a holographic scene of a person fighting hundreds of mutants alone, for some reason, the man's finger was completely black, as his hand, wielding dual weapons, a sword and a spear, cut through the mutants like butter.
Suddenly, the scene skipped a few seconds, and the mecha appeared on the screen for less than a second as the black shadowed man appeared behind the mecha, splitting it into two with a single sword strike.
"See it yourself, this person destroyed the gold series mecha with a single strike, and according to the estimate, his strength is already close to diamond series mecha or even starlight series."
The old teacher praised the man in the footage like a true fan, while Liu Zhi quickly stood tall and started fixing his hair in pride.
Liu Ran was already familiar with the style; she gave him a cold glance before turning back to the old teacher, who couldn't stop worshipping this martial art master in footage.
"Wow! Who would have thought the martial artist could be this strong?"
The students started fawning over this man's strength.
Liu Ran was unable take it anymore, turned around walking out in the middle of the class. She also grabbed Liu Zhi, with her dragging him out of the class.
After leaving everyone's sight, she quickly took out the bronze mirror from his pocket and started skipping these boring lectures.
"Hey, skip option isn't working…" Liu Zhi tried to explain to her, but was shocked to find that now it was actually working.
"It's not working… can't you see it working properly?" Liu Ran pointed as they stood outside the college gates.
"Let me see," Liu Zhi snatched the mirror and saw that the skip button had started working again as he started pressing it in excitement.
"Stop it! Are you gonna skip till our death?" Liu Ran tried stop him, but suddenly the mirror screen turned red, as their surroundings started to alter.
The ground turned into a swamp made up of blood, and the air was filled with the smell of gunpowder, rotten flesh and blood. Liu Ran quickly took out an ancient-looking blue feather fan from her storage bracelet.
She gently waved it at the surroundings as the cold wind froze the hundreds of meters around them.
Liu Zhi's gaze was instantly locked on the sky where seven mechas and a gigantic gargoyle were having a deadly fight.
"It's look like I skipped till the end, haha…"
Liu Zhi, taking out his spear, started laughing like a madman.
He glanced at the gargoyle whose body was covering the whole sky, then looked at the surroundings before stretching his hands as he threw the spear at it.
After throwing the spear at the gargoyle, he turned to Liu Ran as he said, "Watch carefully."
Snap!
With a snap of his finger, the humongous monster's whole body burst like a balloon pierced by a tiny needle.
The Blood tide fell from the sky, like a tsunami.
Liu Ran waved her fan gently in disgust, clearing a few hundred metres around them. While blood tide devoured the thousands of kilometres.
"Haha… did you see that…" Liu Zhi pointed at the sky.
"You just exploded an Immortal Grade artefact for show off." Liu Ran sneered, unimpressed by his madness.
"Hey, these things always return as they are, after this simulation ends. So, exploding that spear isn't a loss, nor could it do anything against that masked man. Killing this little demon is already the best thing it can do."
"…" Liu Ran stared at him in silence.
While they were having their little face-off, Liu Zhi's old friend was waiting calmly for them end their things.
"Why so much silence suddenly?" Liu Zhi quickly noticed this unusual silence as he turned to look at the sky.
Liu Ran also looked at the sky, following her brother's gaze.
In the sky stood a man wearing a mask, while the mechas had vanished from the sky. He was looking down at them, his expression hidden behind the mask, his eyes focused on Liu Ran.
"So, you also have more lives, like him. I thought you only got three."
"Hehe…" Liu Ran smiled awkwardly, remembering her past encounter with him, where he had always killed after a few words.
"Die!" Suddenly, Liu Zhi jumped at him, carrying his blood sword, as all the blood on the ground followed his lead, forming a gigantic blood blade, going straight at the masked man.
The masked man gave him aside glance, the blood blade crumbled, Liu Ran's body remained frozen in mid-air.
"1699th ti…"
"Hey, this time, we are doing tag team, you can't kill us like that, I still haven't gotten my gears. How could you end it so soon?" Liu Ran said in frustration because she didn't even get to sit on a single mecha because of her stupid brother.
"Oh, then gear up before we begin." The man unexpectedly listened to her words, throwing Liu Zhi back on the ground.
"Really…"
"…"
"But you just destroyed the best mecha. I was planning to use it in this fight. Well… just kill us."
She said in a low voice, remembering that there were only 7 God light series mecha, which had all vanished when this man appeared.
"Next time, come with proper gear," The man said, and their vision went blank.
