Chapter Two
The panic kept growing.
Shouts echoed across the schoolyard as students pushed past one another, fear spreading faster than reason. Some screamed, others cried, and a few tried desperately to force their way through the barrier—only to fail again and again.
Only Kisame remained still.
He watched everything carefully, his eyes moving from the barrier to the crowd, trying to understand what was happening instead of being consumed by fear.
"What's that in the sky?" someone shouted near the school gate.
Kisame looked up.
Something was floating above them.
It was smaller than an average human, its body thin and unnatural. Two long antennae rose from its head, swaying slowly in the air. Beneath them were two large eyes—red with black pupils—that stared down at the students without emotion. Its skin was pale, almost white like snow. A red cape flowed behind it, covering a black shirt beneath.
"An… alien?" Ali whispered, his voice tight with disbelief.
The creature hovered silently for a moment.
Then a voice echoed through the air, coming from nowhere and everywhere at once.
"Testing…"
"Testing…"
Kisame frowned. "What's going on…?" he muttered, confusion creeping into his calm tone.
The voice continued, clearer now.
"Attention, participants."
The creature straightened slightly in the sky.
"I am Heuk Ryeong," it said. "Your trial is about to begin."
