Chapter Six
System Updated.
The words appeared at the center of the glowing blue screen, floating silently before Kisame's eyes.
Then—
The interface shifted completely.
The translucent panel expanded outward, reorganizing itself with smooth, mechanical precision. Several rectangular blocks formed, hovering neatly in the air as if they had always belonged there.

The system felt… refined.
Too refined.
It didn't feel like something newly created—it felt like something ancient that had finally been activated.
Around them, the schoolyard looked normal again. The blood-soaked ground had vanished. The cracked pavement was spotless, as if no one had died there just moments ago. No bodies. No screams. No monsters.
Because of that, many students began to relax.
Some laughed nervously. Others convinced themselves it had all been a hallucination.
Ali stared at his screen, eyes wide. "This is new…"
"Yeah," Kisame replied quietly.
He didn't feel relieved.
If anything, the clean ground made his stomach tighten. Whatever controlled this system could erase reality itself.
Kisame raised his hand and selected Status.
The screen dimmed briefly, then refreshed.
[Status Window – Kisame]

Kisame studied the numbers carefully.
"So this is how it measures us…" he muttered.
It wasn't judging only strength. It was measuring his mind, his awareness, even his ability to endure fear.
"I'm not using these points yet," Kisame said firmly.
Ali looked up from his own screen. "Why not?"
"Because if the system exists," Kisame replied, "then there are rules. And I want to understand them before breaking anything."
Ali nodded slowly. "Okay. I won't spend mine either."
They explored the other sections next.
The Shop allowed users to buy and sell items—basic supplies, weapons, and consumables. Everything required points or currency that none of them currently had.
The Training Ground offered controlled environments to learn and practice skills. Some were locked, others accessible only after choosing a blessing.
The Library contained information—about gods, monsters, trials, and the system itself.
The Dungeon section displayed danger warnings. Monsters, experience points, and loot were listed beneath it. Kisame noticed one thing immediately.
High risk. High reward.
They learned quickly.
Time, Kisame realized, was the most dangerous enemy.
Finally, Kisame selected Main Quest.
The screen remained empty.
"No main quest?" Ali asked.
"It's even better" Kisame said.
Then Kisame clicked Sub Quests.
The screen changed.
Three quests appeared, each glowing faintly blue.
