Chapter 29: The Verdict of the Divine Council — A 'Dirty' Job 🌤️⚖️👹
After exiting the labyrinth, the Seven Guardians were summoned to the 'Golden Hall.' There, the highest deities of Heaven, known as 'The Elder Council,' sat upon towering thrones. The atmosphere was so heavy that Ryun's stomach started doing somersaults again.
⚖️ The Divine Judgment
The Great Arbiter stared down at Ryun with piercing eyes. "Ryun, you have passed the Trial of Fire. Though your soul carries the Void, your heart remains human. We will not erase you... for now."
Ryun: (Exhaling a massive sigh of relief) "Oh, thank God! So, does this mean we can go home and take a nap now?"
Gojung (🌑): (Giving Ryun a light smack on the back of the head) "Quiet. The 'But' is coming."
Arbiter: "...BUT, living in the Divine Realm is not free. We require your unique strength. An ancient demon from the Abyss, 'Azrazel,' has escaped. He has been attacking the borders of Heaven. You seven will capture him."
👹 Mission: 'Operation Catch-a-Demon'
After the council dismissed them, the Seven Guardians stood outside the hall to discuss their new assignment.
Kael (⚡): "So... Heaven has thousands of angels with wings and flaming swords, but they're sending us humans to catch one demon? Talk about lazy management!"
Akira (🍃): "Maybe they just don't want to get their white robes dirty. Besides, Azrazel isn't just any demon. They say he listens to screams like they're classical music."
Ryun: (Shivering) "Music? I'm more of a 'Pop music' guy. Screams aren't really my vibe. Gojung, can't we just say no?"
Gojung: "No. If we finish this mission, the Gods will have to accept you permanently. This is your ticket to freedom."

Minho pulled out some strange-looking gadgets from his magical leaf-bag.
Minho (🌿): "Check it out. I've developed an 'Anti-Demon Spray' and some 'Holy Nets.' If the demon gets too jumpy, just spray him in the face. He'll sneeze himself unconscious."
Seiya (🌊): "And if the spray fails, I'll just freeze him into a 'Demon-Popsicle'!"
Ryun: (Taking a deep breath) "Fine. We're heading to the Abyss. But I have one condition... if I don't make it back, I want a golden statue of me in the center of Heaven. And make sure I look handsome!"
Mei-Lin (✨): "Brother, I don't know about the statue, but I'm definitely selling your vintage comic book collection if you don't come back!"
