"Someone is playing a game from the shadows," the Elder of the Sun City bellowed. "If those seven boys are dead, then who killed that beast? Go! Find out if any evidence remains!"

"You're alive!" Mei-Lin rushed to embrace him, but Ryun stepped back.
"No, Mei-Lin. If you touch me, my Stone Aura might hurt you. We are no longer just humans; we are the guardians of this world."

Gojung looked into Mei-Lin's eyes. "We need a spy inside the city. Someone who can alert us to the Elders' every move."
Mei-Lin raised her lantern with firm resolve. "I will be your eyes and ears. I will never let them reach you."
