Early in the morning Scarlett woke up, after cleaning herself and carrying out her obligations as a Muslim, she then went into the kitchen, several servants hurriedly stopped her but Scarlett didn't care, that was her habit every morning, as a cook in her house.
"Auntie, what is Grandma's favorite breakfast?" Scarlett asked the butler who was almost the same age as Grandma Victoria.
"Soy milk and oatmel topped with fresh fruit." Answered Aunt Mer while cooking Julian's favorite salmon.
"Grandma doesn't eat rice, Auntie?" Scarlett asked again, she was a little surprised.
"If Grandma's heart relapses a little, Grandma definitely won't want to eat rice for breakfast."
Scarlett nodded, then deftly poured the prepared soy milk into a medium sized glass cup, after that she cooked oatmel and cut herself the fresh fruit that was available.
After everything was ready, Scarlett then prepared it at the dining table in the exact position Grandma usually sat. Scarlett just found out that Grandma doesn't like having breakfast in her room, unless she can't get up, Aunt Mer just told her.
So Scarlett went upstairs to wake Grandma and take her to breakfast.
"Is Grandma awake?" Scarlett asked in a low voice when she entered Grandma's room, which was no less spacious than the room she slept in last night.
Grandma nodded and she was neat, the servant must have helped her clean up, she thought.
"I've prepared breakfast for Grandma," said Scarlett with a smile that made the parents look even happier.
"Okay, let's have breakfast darling."
Scarlett nodded then pushed Grandma Victoria's wheelchair and entered the elevator door next to Grandma Victoria's room.
"When are you going to get engaged? Has Julian asked you to talk about this serious matter?" Grandma Victoria's fishing rod at the dinner table.
"Julian said he would discuss this afternoon with Grandma too."
Grandma Victoria nodded with a smile full of Happiness while Scarlett felt that the afternoon wait was very long, she couldn't wait for Julian to come home and talk about his engagement plans.
Apart from that, she wants to immediately receive money from Julian and can't wait to go home to her village to give the money to her father and announce her marriage with idol.
It will definitely be an unforgettable moment for her.
Remembering that all this time she was always considered unlucky and useless in her family, even her own father always cursed her like that.
Scarlett is not her biological child, her late mother was sentenced to not be able to have children and insisted on adopting Scarlett from the orphanage, since then Scarlett's father became increasingly fed up with her and cheated on her.
Scarlett shook off the bitter memory by sipping the warm tea that Aunt Mer had just given her.
"Did Julian tell you what time he'll be home?" asked Grandma Victoria impatiently.
Scarlett shook her head.
"Okay, Grandma will wait patiently for him.
It didn't feel like the day was crawling so fast, it was already 12 noon, by then Julian had gone home and the three of them were together with Scarlett and Grandma in the living room.
"I'm sorry I have to say this, if the producer and management forbid me from announcing this engagement to the public, Grandma."
Grandma Victoria's face turned gloomy but did not show the slightest anger. She immediately realized that her grandson was under a work contract and he still had to be professional.
Meanwhile, Scarlett was suddenly confused, which meant she also had to cover up her wedding in front of her family. How is that possible? Scarlett was actually afraid that her father would think negatively about her drastic change.
"That means they also want to keep your future marriage a secret?"
Julian reluctantly nodded.
Grandma Victoria then let out a heavy sigh, while Scarlett remained as still as a statue.
"Isn't that unimportant Grandma? The most important thing is that I don't refuse to marry Scarlett."
Grandma Victoria just nodded then glanced at Scarlett who was therei beside him.
"What do you think Scarlett? Don't you mind?"
"It's okay Grandma."
Scarlett stuttered to answer, even though in her heart she really objected even though she wasn't completely ready to go public as Julian's partner.
"Okay, if that's no problem, Grandma agrees, but Grandma's suggestion is that you don't need to get engaged, how about getting married straight away?"
Julian seemed the first to be surprised, but he immediately controlled himself to remain calm, he didn't want to appear to have the slightest objection in front of his grandmother, Julian was afraid that it would affect Grandma's health.
Meanwhile, Scarlett was only a little surprised. After that, she returned to calm like deep sea water.
"It's okay, I'm allowed to take leave next week."
"Well, then next week you two will get married, how about Scarlett?" asked Grandma Victoria again.
"Yes, Grandma, I don't mind either," replied Scarlett with a forced smile.
They all agreed and the wedding will be held behind closed doors next week without anyone knowing except the people who work at Grandma Victoria's house.
In fact, Scarlett was not even allowed to tell her family, that was because Scarlett admitted that she was not her father's biological child when Grandma Victoria asked about marriage guardians.
Grandma Victoria will ask her assistant for help to bring in a guardian judge from the civil wedding.
"Thank you for complying with Grandma's request, you don't need to worry, Grandma will prepare everything," she explained happily.
Julian just nodded followed by Scarlett, they still didn't expect Grandma to be so enthusiastic and speed up the day.
After saying that, Grandma Victoria said goodbye and called the servant to help her to her room. Scarlett and Julian were left alone in the living room.
When he saw that Grandma had actually entered her room, Julian immediately took Scarlett's hand to the back terrace, where he had to speak privately with the woman who would become his wife.
"What's wrong Julian? Have you brought the money?" Scarlett asked impatiently. Julian handed a check and give to Scarlett's hands, he wasn't lying, Scarlett's eyes lit up with happiness when she saw the check with the nominal value like she needed.
"Thank you very much Julian."
"I can give you more if you want, but please keep this marriage a secret carefully, in order to maintain my image," said Julian seriously.
I don't know why Scarlett turned so sad, Julian said it so firmly and a little threateningly. It made Scarlett feel afraid and burdened, but she hurriedly nodded because Julian had been kind enough to keep his promise.
"Good, I keep all your promises Scarlett, please don't make the slightest mistake," said Julian again firmly and in a tone full of emphasis.
Scarlett could only nod with a sudden feeling of pain, it seemed Scarlett had to bury deep in the hope that Julian would one day change to love her.
"That will never happen Scarlett," she thought as if reminding herself.
