Chapter 10 - The Silent World

One day, after a long age of peace, the Titans made a decision.

"It has been too long," one of them said."We should see how the people are living now."

Believing the evil force was sealed forever, the Titans descended toward the planet—expecting life, rebuilding, and hope.

What they found instead was… wrong.

The planet looked whole from space.Cities still stood.Lights still glowed.

Yet the moment the Titans set foot on the land, a strange silence surrounded them.

No laughter.No fear.No urgency.

Only calm.

Too calm.

People Who Were Not Themselves

The Titans walked among the people.

They spoke.They worked.They smiled.

But their eyes were empty.

When the Titans asked questions, the answers came quickly—too quickly—spoken in the same tone, the same words, as if rehearsed.

"We are safe.""We are united.""There is no darkness."

The Titans exchanged uneasy glances.

This was not peace.

This was obedience.

One Titan reached out, sensing the flow of life within a person—and felt something else beneath it. A shadow wrapped tightly around the mind, hiding itself perfectly.

"Something is controlling them," the Titan whispered."But I cannot see it."

A World Wearing a Mask

As the Titans moved deeper into the planet, the truth became harder to ignore.

Nature felt restrained. The wind did not change direction.Animals watched but never fled.

The planet itself felt… held.

Still, the Titans could not find the source.

The Devil's Heart was silent. The Three Evils were hidden. The Dark Den remained unseen.

The greatest deception was working.

The Evil of Deception watched through thousands of human eyes. The Evil of Domination tightened its grip. The Evil of Destruction waited for the right moment.

And deep within the shadows, the Devil thought calmly:

"They see nothing… because they are looking for monsters."

The First Doubt

As the Titans prepared to leave, one of them stopped.

"This world is alive," the Titan said slowly,"but it does not feel free."

For the first time since the war, doubt entered the hearts of the Titans.

They still did not know what was wrong.

But they now knew something was.

And far away, in the Dark Den, the Devil felt it.

The Titans were close.

Not close enough to stop the plan—but close enough that the game had truly begun.
