The burial ground of Shadoness shook violently.
Golden cracks tore through the dark symbols as the Titans pushed against the core of the trap. The prison was weakening — but it was not yet broken.
Then the shadows went still.
Too still.
The air turned cold, heavy with something far older than the Evils.
A single human figure appeared at the edge of the ruined seal.
No thunder.No flames.Just a quiet step.
The Titans felt it instantly.
"The Devil," one of them whispered.
Inside the human body, the Devil's Heart pulsed, glowing beneath the skin like a dark star. Its eyes were calm, intelligent, and filled with endless patience.
"So," the Devil said softly,"you found the flaw."
The Three Evils emerged behind it like loyal shadows.
Destruction burned.Deception smiled.Domination stood silent.
The Devil raised one hand.
The golden light faltered.
"You still believe this world can resist me," the Devil said."But everything here — even your magic — was built on fear."
One Titan stepped forward, even as the prison tightened.
"You may control minds," the Titan said,"but you cannot control truth."
The Devil smiled.
"That is why I gave myself a human mind," it replied."So I could learn how truth breaks."
The ground split open as the Devil walked closer to the trapped Titans.
"I do not need to destroy you," the Devil continued."I only need to keep you here… while the universe becomes mine."
The golden core flickered — barely alive.
One Titan reached toward it.
If they failed now, Shadoness would become the Titans' tomb.
And the Devil's throne.
