By Friday morning, the name "Leonard" had become a whisper in Z City. His penthouse was dark, his luxury cars had been towed away by Silas's recovery teams, and the man himself—along with his family—had vanished. No headlines, no farewell parties. Just a clean, surgical removal from the city's elite.
But for PK, Saturday morning brought a much more chaotic challenge.
"PK! Wake up! The mall opens in twenty minutes!"
Lana and Luna were already in his room at the Manor, wearing matching "shopping combat" outfits. Behind them stood Eve, looking slightly apologetic but clearly holding a very long digital list on her phone.
"I thought I was just taking the twins," PK groaned, pulling a pillow over his head.
"Consider me the supervisor," Eve said with a playful smirk. "Someone has to make sure you don't use your 'demon' eyes to scare away the sales clerks when the bill gets too high."
The Shopping War
Three hours later, PK was no longer a person. He was a walking mountain of shopping bags.
He had bags hanging from his elbows, bags clutched in his fists, and Luna had even hooked a small boutique bag onto the hood of his sweatshirt.
"I've fought billionaires, Eve," PK muttered, maneuvering through a narrow aisle in a designer shoe store. "I've hacked high-security servers. I've manipulated market trends. But this? This is where I die."
"Stop complaining," Lana said, holding up two identical dresses in slightly different shades of "Midnight Black." "Does this one say 'I'm a sophisticated heiress,' or does this one say 'I'm the sister of a ruthless genius'?"
"They both say 'Buy me so we can go get lunch,'" PK replied deadpan.
"Wrong answer!" Luna chimed in, tossing a third dress onto his pile. "That's another thirty minutes of browsing for you."
Eve leaned in, whispering to PK as they walked toward the jewelry section. "You know, the rumors say Leonard left the city with only two suitcases. Meanwhile, you're carrying twenty-two bags just for one Saturday."
PK shifted the weight of the bags, his eyes gleaming with a touch of that familiar mystery. "Leonard didn't understand the value of things. He thought money bought power. He didn't realize money is just paper; it's only useful if it makes the people you care about smile."
"And if it makes you suffer a little?" Eve teased.
"Clearly," PK sighed as Lana dragged him toward a diamond display.
By 4:00 PM, PK's credit card was smoking. They had hit every high-end store in the district. PK had bought Lana a customized vanity set, Luna a limited-edition gaming rig she'd been eyeing, and a stunning sapphire pendant for Eve that made her blush for the first time in years.
He was broke in spirit, but his "relationship" with the three of them had never felt more solid. They weren't just his roommates or associates anymore; they were his anchor.
The Reality Check
Just as they were heading toward the food court—PK's promised reward—his phone buzzed in his pocket. He had to drop three bags just to reach it.
It was Riya.
"Hello?" PK answered, his voice returning to that clinical, commanding tone even as he balanced a box of designer heels on his knee.
"PK," Riya's voice was professional, but there was a tremor of awe in it. "It's done. Leonard's family has crossed the border. The final liquidation of his holdings is complete. Silas, my father, and Hector are waiting."
PK looked at the girls, who were currently arguing over whether to have sushi or pizza.
"And?" PK asked.
"And... we've recovered more than we expected," Riya continued. "Between the real estate, the shell company holdings, and the private equity, the 'Leonard Package' is worth nearly four hundred crores. We need you to come to the Law Manor annex. We need to discuss how to distribute the spoils of the war you started."
PK looked at his reflection in a store window. He was wearing a ridiculous "I Love Z City" hat Lana had forced him to buy, and he was covered in luxury shopping bags.
"I'll be there in an hour," PK said. "Make sure Silas has the champagne ready. Not for Leonard's downfall, but because I survived a mall trip with three women."
He hung up and looked at the girls.
"Lunch is on me," he shouted, "but after that, I have to go collect a city."
